Don't know if it's available in Australia but LOTR online is supposedly awesome and recently became free. My best friends husband is on it constantly.

yeah LOTR is definitely in aus but i don't really wanna get into it. sounds kinda hardcore, looking for something that's way more casual.
and I've already been put off flyff too. man, i hated the whole concept of mobs in it... no variety at all. neutral
DW sounds fun but not sure if my laptop can take it. mad it's on my list though~

DW sounds fun but not sure if my laptop can take it. mad it's on my list though~
I'm pretty sure you can play it on any laptop with decent specs. I have a couple of friends in my rp group whose laptops can play the game just fine. Just not mine cause...yea, mac. orz

My brother plays this online game called Fallen Sword. Not sure if it fits into your category though - it's more like a attacking and leveling game. I think it looks really boring :p.. but hey for sure it works in Australia yay australian hi-five

The only MMO I ever played was Trickster. It's pretty, how should I say, cutsie putsie though. XD Haven't played in forever, and I don't really know about the market.
I'm tempted to get back into it. D: Maybe over winter break.....

Atlantica Online is awesome o.o..
I play that everyday, easy to make gold by market manipulation and such.
turn based strategy game, HUGE world [the whole world], good story line up til 100.
Lower levels its easy to get started, quests and what not.
If you want to play, I have a great guild I run, with lots of members.
Can help you out np~
Also a light client you can use to test the game. [ Up to level 29 or something ] so its a small download to see if you like it or not!

I just started Maple Story today. I've always wanted to get into an MMO, but I just want something cute I can play now and then, I really don't need a huge time suck.
I love how Maple Story looks, and it's pretty fun so far.

atm Mabinogi is my top pick.
Miss Buruku I just started Maple Story today. I've always wanted to get into an MMO, but I just want something cute I can play now and then, I really don't need a huge time suck. I love how Maple Story looks, and it's pretty fun so far. oh god do not get me started on MapleStory. seriously.
And yeah, I'm Aussie. surprised I thought I was the only one in the guild ninja
Will check out all the other games as well. 3nodding

but seriously... i honestly don't know HOW i managed to play it for 4 years. gonk
