"Do not pity me Shohana.... others have had worst beginnings and ends than I!" She smiled and continued her work, Renesme was in no way regretful of her past, she was simply happy that they got to return here and she had been able to find her childhood friend once more... a friend who had become her lifemate and she was currently expecting foals with. Rune. Yes, she did not pity her own past. No, she loved it! Everything had led her to here, to who she was and to the babies currently growing and kicking her belly.

She listened as Shohana told her a little of her past, and wondered what had caused a foal to leave her family. Renesme knew that she had been abandoned and left because her mother had hated what her father had done to her, that was why Alice and Jasper had taken her in and treated her like their child. She would never fault them, they cared so much about her that she treated and acted like there where her true parents.

"You will find a place to call home soon enough I am sure, but not everyone starts off in a herd.... some start off as simply travelling families. Maybe your parents are still looking for you?" She wondered this while at the same time she wondered if one of her children would ever wander off.... she knew without even having met them that she would never give up finding them! No, she loved them as much as her life, feeling them kick and play in her belly had connected them in a way so pure and unique that she never wanted to lose any of them. She wanted to see them all happy, teach them a billion and one things and spoil them!

Yes, Renesme wanted to be the mother that her mother had never been to her. She already loved them with all her heart and soul.

As the other mare nodded Renesme resisted laughing before she spoke, "It's ok, you actually move a lot less than Maion and Jasper, they dislike anyone who is not their mate that close... plus Maion is always busy with herd business so I often find myself plait his hair while on the move!" She did laugh then, yes.... she had more happy memories than sad ones.

"I am sure they would recognise you though Shohanna." She said with a smile as she finished the plait and tied it in the same manner she had done her tail. She then lifted the ring of roses Shohana had worn on her head when they met and placed it carefully back in to place. "There.... you look stunning!" She smiled, usually she would have stepped backwards but her body was growing more and more tired lately so she decided to just sit where was, sure that if the mare felt uncomfortable she would simply take a step or three backwards.

She sighed, letting the ease and comfort of the world penetrate her thoughts for a moment as she contemplated everything that had happened today.

Finally she spoke again, "I am glad you have no major regrets Shohana, perhaps when you start a family of your own you will not feel so bad? You can spoil them in every way you have ever longed to remember your own doing to you." She smiled sofly, she would never ask outright if someone else had a lifemate, she knew very well that lifemates where not for everyone.... but for her, there would only ever be Rune. Plus, it was possible the mare had been looking for her mate and come up empty hooved so far.... no, Renesme did not intend to rub her own happiness in the face of another.

Looking around she tried to remember what she had learnt of this land as a child, "Perhaps, this is common land. It joins the five herds that are all neighbours to my own. A lot of them use this meadow for birthing and for social events to allow unmated members to mingle with the prospect of finding their mate. Maybe your parents met here? Or maybe they gave birth to you here?"

Renesme listened and nodded several times, another kick to her belly followed by a soft growl made her remember that it was getting close to lunch time and Rune had promised to fetch them the fruit she craved along with some bark. Yummy! She hoped these cravings wouldn't continue after they had been born.... forcing Rune to go and get what she need while she was exhuasted looking after two or three babies was more than Renesme really wanted to consider right now.

"Good luck finding your mate, I promise you will not regret it," She said it with a smile as she pulled herself to the feet again and looked around to make sure she was headed in the right direction.

Looking down at the mare she smiled and said, with all the warmth and honesty in her soul, "I wish you the best Shohana, do not be a stranger.... if you ever need me you can find me in the Miakoda herd lands, I am unlikely going to be able to leave much for a while since I am getting bigger by the day. I hope with all my heart that you find what you are looking for.... that peace joins you." She bowed her head and smiled again, "I am ashamed to leave so rushed, but I am afraid my stomach is growling and my mate Rune should be arriving with lunch any moment.... berries! Yum."

Renesme giggled and smiled at the mare once more before titling her head as a silent 'good bye' and turned to make her way back home.
