The cash cards are cool, and my defence against the "why pay, it's a game" thing is that gaia is like modern warfare 2 to me: I buy the stuff because it makes the game funner to play. I only get a card once in a while, when I can afford it (which means about every nine or so months). What I hate nowadays is the prices new people charge on marketplace for new monthly collectibles. They start the damn things out at a couple hundred thousand, it's not right. They should start it out at about 50K maybe, then slowly raise the prices.

It's more...I can't justify spending money on Gaia. I have other things to pay for, and I'm not really a very active Gaian. Also it's "more fun" not "funner." Just FYI.

Couldn't see why i should pay for a Game, don't get me wrong I love gaia as much as the others. But not a penny is coming out of my pocket for pixels.
They'll get nothing from me.

It's an alright idea, but I'm not buying anything from them.

I think that since anything can be bought on the marketplace including the exclusive items that can only be bought with GC than why pay outta pocket than using gaia gold that can be gotten for free.

You're buying digital objects on the internet so that you can make an avatar look cooler with real money.
You know what? My cousin spent over $100 on Gaia Cash, and ended up losing everything because someone managed to get a hold of his account.
Bottom line: I hate Gaia Cash.

Gaia Cash is a little nessesary, or else Gaia wouldn't be able to realy run anymore. but the way it is implemented is unfair to those who don't put money into the site. if you don't have Gaia Cash, you have a GIGANTIC disadvantage in the Site's Economy.
I am part of a Guild dedicated to balancing the Market for everyone, and putting more emphasis on Gold Shoppes.
