The Castlevania series is, without a doubt, my favorite franchise. I adore the Chrono series, and anyone who knows me knows just how passionately I adore Cross... but there are only two games in this series. Even if it does feature my favorite game of all time, as well as another masterpiece... two games simply does not beat a franchise with so many amazing games. Besides, Konami is my favorite company and I trust them the most. Square... well, they have let me down more times than I can count, and more times than they have impressed me by far.
Some other series I love:
-Silent Hill
-Devil May Cry
-Soul Calibur
-Legacy of Kain
I would list "Fable", as The Lost Chapters was one of the greatest games I ever played and left me with an incredible first impression... but the most I ever played of any game beyond the first is about an hour of the second one... as somebody's 'Henchmen' on co-op. I loved the gameplay from what I experienced, but I cannot base the entire game on that one stint. I never played the third... so I cannot really claim to be a fan of the entire series when I only played the original and its expanded release to any credible extent.
