Well, ain't this a fine thing to be caught in? I've had to make quick escapes, but this is one for the books! At least I got away with my pants this time and without the tar and feathers. Scraps' fur will soon grow back where he lost it. I told him, 'stay away from the angry charmander', but he wouldn't listen an...
Well, that's not important now. The last thing I remember clearly is needing to leave in a hurry and, lo and behold, someone left a ship right at the dock! I thought to myself, 'why, that's a mighty terrible place to leave a ship all unprotected. They could get stowaways, perhaps a pair of innocents who just happen to need to get out in a hurry'.
Turns out, I was completely right. I typically am, when it comes to the criminal mind.
Vermillion City was getting dull anyway. Too many people who don't know how to just let go of grudges. This ship's on the path to somewhere else and that's good enough for me. Some place called Camphoreon. Huh. Sounds like something an eevee would evolve into if exposed to lip balm.
Scraps has been looking a mite peaky lately and staying very close. He doesn't like ships much. Don't worry, Scraps; we're almost there.

Shopping list: Uniform Money Paralyze Heal Awakening
Scraps has been mighty nervous ever since we finally got to Camphoreon. I've considered buttering his paws, but every time I try, he just licks it all off. Stupid idea anyway. He's an eevee, not a meowth. I just hope he gets used to the new place quickly, that's all.
Me, I fit right in. Camphoreon is a port town and feels just like home. I admit, I got a little sloppy earlier; Scraps pulled an Injury trick and some girl caught me snickering nollies. She's alright. I call her Christelle, on account that's what she asked for and I'm a gentleman. That and she knows the city a helluva lot better than I do.
We're going to play a game in a couple of days. She'll be a good friend to keep around for a bit, so I'll place nicely too, so long as she does.
Will write more shortly. It's time to play.
