"Ah, well, you know the news. It seems the papers and the television are content to blame all these strange happenings on terrorists, lumping in what should be considered good guys and bad guys together, so the public en masse hates anything that might be strange or different. I've had my life saved more than once by some of these so-called terrorists. Ah. Soldiers."

He knew they were called Senshi, but he didn't know if that was a word commonly used or not. In an effort to keep people he cared about safe, he generally avoided all talk of such topics. It seemed all that avoiding had let it build up in him.

Now it was all trying to get out, though he was doing a mostly good job of keeping his thoughts in order.

"I don't suppose this is what you came into the library for. I'm sorry to be babbling at you. Ah, here, the first few of the books should be around here," he said, kneeling, with the help of his cane, to inspect a lower shelf.

"Ah, that's all fine." Xavier spoke only when Tony had finished his explanation. He wasn't sure if he should kneel as well to help him look, or if he only would get in the man's way if he tried to 'help'. "I know what you mean... I was saved by one of them, once." Technically this wasn't even a lie, now. Bellatrix had saved him in at fight at the cafe after he left the hospital.

Bellatrix just so happened to be his girlfriend. And his teammate. But there was no need to get into details, now was there ? "She had no real reason to save me... but she did. Beside... why would they destroy their own monsters ?"

"Exactly. Makes no sense. And I've met the bad guys, as well. They're not the same, the two teams, and I hardly think they would go through such an elaborate set up to terrorize us all."

He sighed, looking through the books and pulling a few off the shelves, straightening up when he had them in his arm.

"There's one more," he said, balancing the books rather effortlessly. But if something like this wasn't easy after eleven years of working here... he wouldn't know what to do with himself. He looked at the young man, then indicated for him to follow him over.

"In any case, I feel bad for the senshi," he said dumbly, forgetting his contemplation on using the word earlier, "I wish I could help them. Someone should, at least. Ah well."

Tony seemed knowledgeable about senshi... Even going so far as to mention them by name. He'd never heard anyone mention them by name that wasn't simply aware of the whole thing. He hadn't known about senshi and nergaverse by name before he'd been discovered as Themis. It did strike him as a little suspicious, through ultimately he just didn't know what to think. No matter, he would still thread carefully.

"That was the only time i've seen anything beside monsters, when the... senshi saved me." The name seemed to slip out just a little too easily in spite of him trying to look like he had no idea how to pronounce it. "Usually I don't stick around for the show, I just run away. Maybe the best way to help is just to not get in the way, if they're trying to save us ?"

That hadn't happened to him yet. Hopefully it wouldn't ever happen. Civilian presence near a youma was dangerous, and even more so if they were trying to play hero.

Tony, of course, had absolutely no reason to be suspicious of Xavier, still having the bad habit of assuming that most people he met in life were normal and generally good. He was going to have to do a better job of preserving himself and keeping his friends and, though he didn't know it, his family safe. There were senshi around, true enough, but there were also dangerous people like Negaverse agents.

"Ah, yes, I think you're right about that," Tony chuckled. He had a couple experiences where he had played the hero, and though he hadn't died in the process he was sure he had probably made a senshi's job more difficult.

Which was the last thing he wanted to do these days.

Above all else, he wanted to help them, and he would figure out a way to do that. For now, he was just stuck with his knowledge of them, with his experiences, and with his desire to be useful but he hoped soon he might be able to do something more for them.

He doubted offering them a free book borrowing service was enough.

Well, if he'd at least managed to get Tony to not... play hero if he ran across a youma (or worse, a negaverse agent !), then it was a small victory. He couldn't really ask more than that, now couldn't he ?

If he'd known more about what the hell is going on, then he might have been able to give the older man ideas as to what he could do. Unfortunately for Tony, Xavier was still a rather new senshi, and had only puzzled out the very basics as to what the hell was going on.

"Do you want me to help carry some... ?" The blonde offered. The pile of books got more and more massive as the two continued - he had a few hours of reading ahead of him.

Compared that lately, the alternative was sleeping or being bored out of his mind, he'd actually take the homework. (gasp.)

Tony shook his head. He imagined the one armed boy had enough to deal with. He was more than happy to help, anyway, as that was his job. Once all the books were collected and balanced, Tony grinned.

"Where am I taking these, then? Back downstairs to check out, or are you thinking of doing some studying here first?"

He was still thinking about youma and negaversers and other such things, but he was doing his best to ignore it. He didn't want to dwell on it, as he knew that, in this city, running into monsters of any and every kind was almost an inevitability. It wasn't a matter of if one ran into them, but rather when, how, and if they walked away from it.

Grim, but Tony was hoping to do something about it.

"I was hoping to try and get some work done here, if that isn't too much trouble ?" Xavier didn't insist on his offer, though he hoped books wouldn't start dropping left and right. "There's too much things at home that will just distract me."

He couldn't be the first student seeking a non-distracting work environnement that Tony had seen, after all.

Tony nodded, moving to take the books over to the closest table. There was no one around, so he hoped that the young man wouldn't mind working here. It was just a heavy stack of books, and he wasn't sure he could take them too far.

"Ah, here you are. Well, if you need any help I'll be down at the front desk, or you could drop by Documents, which is closer. Ah. Enjoy your studying, then."

He said, nodding and smiling, then making to head off.

His mind was turning now, and he felt a familiar surge of adrenaline. It always happened when he thought about wanting to help the senshi, or at least the civilians that were attacked by those monsters and the negaverse. One day, he thought to himself, as he made his way back to the elevator.
