just ahlaf a year ago i heard about X nad about hide's passing. and after getting to know X more i began to fall in love with hide's solos and guitar playing. Since then i been a fanatic about him. hide is my #1 idol and i look up to him. i strive to play like him too. the most beutiful solo he as plaed, inmy opion, is the Tears solo. excelent! he was also the one who got me into loveing the color pink xD. i have most of his albums and planing to buy more shirts with him on it. yes im a fan boi too.

You'd totally up my respect level if you used a little bit of proper grammar.
On the other hand, I know what you mean. hide was..is someone I look up to, still. I'm a guitarist and I look up to him in that way, too, not just in a moral sense. (And I'm really happy because I bought some hide guitar pics and one of his tab books ^^)

Kaoru Valentine You'd totally up my respect level if you used a little bit of proper grammar. On the other hand, I know what you mean. hide was..is someone I look up to, still. I'm a guitarist and I look up to him in that way, too, not just in a moral sense. (And I'm really happy because I bought some hide guitar pics and one of his tab books ^^) sry i have alot of typos. i never double check my spelling xD but yes im a guitarist myself. soo far i have been onli able to play the Say Anthing solo. imnot sure if its the right tabs but its still good.

I actually dunno :/
month ago I started to be a fan... but I was because hide started to haunt me .__. It was kinda horrible time, beacause every time i tried to find something about miyavi, there was always hide and samae with evry quzes ._. and now hes not haunting me anymore... hes haunting my friend who dosn't even listen to j-rock, only a litle intrested. poor her u_u and who'll be next?
and then when I finally chose to listen to one song (rocet dive) I realized that I had heard it already long long time ago, when I wasn't a japan/j-rock fan... u_u it WAS a litle scary time... ok my whole live has been scary :'DD always..

Even if it was really hard to read what you were trying to say ^^; Today in the hair salon I heard 'light my fire' by the doors and I had a mental freak-out because I was thinking, 'no way would they be playing a hide song!' and then remembered he just did a cover of the song xD. *lame* (He did it so well, though!)

Hm. I've been liking hide for at least 2 years now since I've gotten into jrock. Even with all the new bands/artists I've discovered over time hide and x-japan are still my no.1 fave and will always be that way too. heart

When I started listening to X-Japan Toshi was my fav
But then hide just looked soo cute and playful and full of life and oh so PINK ^ ^
Then I was all like "grr i must go a concert"
Then I found out he died ._.
And I like cried for days and watched the funeral news report

I grew up on X Japan and J-rock so I've always liked Hide and Yoshiki, my older brother would play them randomly when he was in his 'YAY JAPAN' phase. Now I can't even get the brat to listen to J-rock anymore. Anyway, so I grew up listening to X Japan fresh from the womb in 1991. Of course, Hide died when I was seven and I was like heartbroken. Mom wouldn't let me go to the funeral either. 'You're too young.' -_-; I was like 'MOOMMMYY I WANNNNA GOOO -tantrum.-' but noooo she wouldn't let me. So I gave her the cold shoulder till I was like eleven O_O;
But yeah I'd bum the music from my brother, you know sit down on a saturday night, color in my coloring book and sit there while my brother was listening to X Japan. I've loved Hide and Yoshiki still, ever since. Meh even when I went back and watched the funeral when I was older I was sobbing like a baby, still do too. Can't listen to any X Japan or Hide music without bawling my eyes out. Meh so I don't know many years it's been...meh...I guess like...at least like twelve or so. I liked how the music sounded, so I'd take those little things on the window you use to close the blinds, and pretend I as hide. ._.; Soooosaaaaad -goes and does that now.- Can't even go to my own Profile anymore D: -mumbles.-

That's sad your mom wouldn't let you go to the funeral. If I was your mom I would have gone with you xd . Were you living in Yokohama at the time? Well, duh, probably because X Japan weren't popular in North America in 91, right?
Anyway, welcome to the guild...It's a little dead in here...

I got into hide really really recently...Ironically when I was cruising around JRock sites, I found out that someone named hide had died before I even knew who he was...
and then I remembered when I did more research. It was sad to have realized that was the person they were talking about...

I've recently got into hide-sama. I heart X Japan for a while....because of the fact that I was not really into researching bands and keeping myself updated on whats going on and keep in mind I was only 8 when hide-sama passed away...(prepare for utter shock... eek ) I've only found out recently that my favortie member of X Japan, hide-sama passed away 9 years ago...I was so sad...I cried. crying I watched the funeral...and cried. crying

It's hasn't been long at all, but I already feel as though he's a part of me.
