He could feel a headache coming on. "Somehow.. I can believe that..."

"Probably because it's true. Don't you feel the same way, though?"

"Traveling. Being blind. Take your pick."

"Ah. No... to both. I like to stay put and be alone."

"Staying put, I can understand. Don't agree with it, but I can understand it. But why would you rather be alone?"

"I enjoy solitude.. and peace and quiet. Others are too noisy."

"But with others comes change. Peace and quiet gets boring after awhile. It's always the same."

He shrugged "Not too interested in change either.."

"Of course. How else would I know I didn't want it?"
