"Not really. I'm mostly a wanderer." she replied to him. "Going around and see the world the usual thing for me." she continued to him. Chuckling to the male slightly. "Guess we're not much different huh?"

He thought about it a moment, just to be sure, but in the end he still came up with the same response.
"Not much different at all!" He nodded along, "Even our impressive plumage is similar. I wonder how much different it is to fly with feathers only on one's wings..." A whimsical look came over his eyes, but only for a moment before he returned to smiling at the mare. Something to ponder over and perhaps ask a non-plumaged wind someday.

She smiled at him, rather amused at the male. she could feel his burning passion for flight and the thrill of the race. "I see you like the thrill of the race and sky." she replied, her grin relaxing softly, mostly coz of her cheeks hurting a bit and her over eagerness being controlled.

He nodded and spoke passionately, "Oh yes! Racing and the sky are two of my favorite things. Other challenges are great too, but if I only had to choose my top two favorite things, those would be them." He nodded again, confirming what he had just said.
This mare really got him! She must have the same love for the sky and flying and speed. "Can you pick just one favorite?" He asked, almost a challenge to see if she could pick just one, because he knew that he would have one hell of a hard time trying to pick.

"Well that's hard." she chuckled. "Mostly the sky I guess." she replied to him thoughtfully after some time. Her eyes cast up there. "I mean....that's how I got here too...." she replied thoughtfully, remembering how she first set on this land, following the wind after her family had disappeared. She wondered, where were they, part of her still loathed them for disappearing o her, yet she found freedom in it.

She chose one, after some deliberation, and he smiled in return. He didn't think he would have such an easy time choosing, but her answer was a good one! The sky was, after all, where he usually raced.
He too, pondered a thought or two after her response, but when he realised it, he shook his head and asked her. "Do you plan on going back? Where you came from, I mean?" He didn't know where he came from. He had been flying for as long as he could remember, so he had no place to go even if he wanted to, but he had never known his family, so he didn't really feel like he was missing anything.

"Back to my home land?" she asked gently. "No...Not that I think of it." she muttered to him gently. She didn't have that many memories about that honestly. Her parents had long disappeared one day and she was left alone.

With a decisive nod he agrees, "Dun' remember mine, so I suppose I dun' think of mine either" A chuckle, and he proposes, "How 'bout a few more race loops before I head off to find myself some food, then?"
With a devilish twinkle in his eye, he tenses all the right muscles and prepares himself, should she take up the challenge. Would she take it on, as a last few fleeting moments of adventure before he went off for the rest of the day? Surely that would be a perfect goodbye to another of his kind, to another sky-lover like himself.

She smirked at the male. Flexing her wings lightly, she readied herself. "i think one more race would do just fine." This was her new home now. The old one didn't matter. she had friends here. Others like her who loved journeying the sky and earth. To the ends of the earth she went, and there her wings shall take her.
There, she took off with the male, racing on with the setting sun.

That twinkle spread to become a wide smirk that played across his lips. He liked this mare. Fun, energetic, and willing to accept a challenge. Definitely a good meet, which resulted in a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Stroking towards the ground with his powerful wings, he too takes to the air swiftly and gracefully. The wind was just right for one last race, and the scenery couldn't have been better.
The sky shifted from blue to purple to red and finally to orange, as if it were being painted as they watched. Yes, this was definitely the perfect end to the perfect day. And he had competition to share it with, too!
