((Rats, now I want to get a picture to work for my posting!!! XP))
Lord Seraphiel, for some odd reason, had not noticed the other holy entity being presence. Perhaps The Lake was negating his senses... He smiled at the younger Seraphim. Younger... Was a word as vague as this so necessary? He smiled at the boy's inoccence... Hello there Lord Ciel, he said with his own respect to his equal, I did not mean to wake you... This is Miss Phoenix, a possible canidate for our new leaders... The ones who will lead the next generation under us. To save us the time and allow us to plan our own fights.. To allow us the time needed to ward of Brother Lucifer. Seraphiel nelt down on one knee, upon the water, no ripples were cast out from the touch of his knee. He appeared to pull a lolly pop out of nowhere and handed it to the young angel.

Phoenix stared at the new entity. She did not speak for Seraphiel had done for her. She smiled gently and kindness radiated off of her. She continued to smile to the boy but she knew he was probably older than her. She was a new angel more or less. Originally a demon changed into a angel. She looked at her dress and dusted off some dust? She didn't know what it was. She finally decided to speak. "Seraphiel just who is this?" she asked with respect. "I'm going to guess he is another Seraph?" She continued to smile. She didn't want to look scary or unknown. Phoenix dared not walk onto the lake. She wanted to but she wasn't very good at floating quite yet she was getting there. She had some bruises on her legs from falling on them. She was going to practice later. She didn't want any help on teaching her she wanted to teach her self on this one thing.

Hearing Miss Phoenix speak made Seraphiel a bit uneasy. It is never wise to speak to one of power unless either spoken to or told otherwise. She had never met this boy, so she could have no idea about how he would respond. In an attempt to make the situation more peaceful, he rose up and walked behind the boy, placing his hands gently upon the boys shoulders, This, Miss Phoenix, he stated calmly, is Lord Ciel. That was all he said to introduce the child-like entity of power, that was all he deemed necessary to state. Unecessary knowledge is better left unsaid unless requested. In which case, it is always best to think before one shall aquiesce the request.

Phoenix blinked and realized her mistake. She got slightly angry at her self. In her own mind. 'Meh we all make mistakes I probably made a big one no matter I will fix it.' Phoenix nods and the look in her eye had of a arguing with her self look possibly yelling at her self. She smiled again and decided to remain quiet. She would not make that mistake again.

______xXxCiel~ With the most tender of touches, the boy took the lollipop from Seraphiel's hands, which further clarified just how exceptionally small Ciel was.
He clasped the colorful candy with both of his tiny hands, his blue-eyed gaze which had been so focused and intent with curiosity on the lady-angel who Seraphiel had referred to as 'Phoenix', was now completely focused on the lollipop. Without a single sign of hesitation, he began to consume the sweet candy.
Small smiles escaped his lips though the minuscule nibbles at his candy. Although he had temporarily been given a distraction, he never ceased to listen. It was funny, the lady-angel was. She was so oddly out of place here, and yet, somehow still managed fit in perfectly, naturally, as if she belonged here. It was no wonder why Seraphiel had immediately spoken to her.
He paused momentarily from his feast noting that Phoenix was very much different from the other angels he'd met on the rare occasions that he had ventured from his 'sanctuary'. He could feel the power, the hurt, and the desperation of one who had once been engulfed in the world of corruption, and It frightened him the presence of such horrible occurrences. He was glad though that those weren't the only things that he could feel from her. Gentle kindness, virtues and morals, compassion and a willingness to learn, to correct, to change...
"Beneficent" he whispered more to himself then anyone else. And with that he continued eating his lovely little treat.

He smiled as he looked down at the little angel, how frail in appearance this little one was, he thought, yet.... how missleading his appearance is... He was well aware that the small angel could most likely hear his thoughts. Ciel had always been able to amaze him. It would take great concentration to reject Ciel's inoccence from his mind. Still speaking softly, Seraphiel decided to speak his next words carefully, Little Ciel, he said, half amused by his choice on the word little, I must apologise for not visiting you sooner than this point in time. My research tends to cause my mind to whirl, loose track of the world around me, to explore worlds inside my brain that even I dare not venture. What Lord Seraphiel had said, logically made no sense. But then again, it was Lord Seraphiel who had said them. To Ciel, it could make perfect sense, but to Miss Phoenix, who had not known Seraphiel for very long, it could make no sense. Amazing, he thought, no matter how long since The Fall, Little Ciel has not changed in aura. His inoccence remains intact. No matter how much I read, how much I write, nowhere in the Ancient Tongue does it depict this. Even the lost Lord Gregori hasn't predicted a fathom of this magnitude to occur. Naturaly, with his power, he should have been one of the first angels to be forced into purity, or corruption for that matter. But here he is, eons later, without a single alteration. Minus the growth in power his aura definately displays...
{{Agh, Now I want a visual reference for seraphiel!!! T-T}}

Phoenix blinked extremely confused on what Seraphiel had just said. It whirled in her head she trying to understand what he just said to Ciel. She dared not speak she just continued to think to her self. Phoenix then walked to a stone that looked like a stool and sat on it. She closed her eyes and tried to think about what he said without giving her self a headache. 'That made no sense, What does he mean I don't even know why I found this place this is all extremely confusing nothing makes sense anymore.' she thought to her self. Knowing that Seraphiel could probably read her mind if he wanted to. She scratched her head trying to figure it out without asking.

______xXxCiel~
His tongue slid slowly across his smiling lips, being sure not to miss a single hint of the heavenly sweet taste of the lollipop that Seraphiel had to generously given to him.
"Its alright." he responded softly, turning his small body to face the elder seraph. "You really should leave yourself more time to relax though."His blue eyes gazed up at Seraphiels haggard face, his innocent smile fading to a sullen pout.
Research.
To humans it was such a simple matter. Angels on the other hand, to them it was a risky business. The pursuit of knowledge can become one's obsession. The vast amounts of information can bring you to frightening places. Losing one's sense of self and wandering through your mind, aimlessly through eons of fiction, facts, lore, truth, lies, deceit, myths, cover-ups...If an angel isn't careful it consumes them, and they fall from their heavenly path. Once lost in the endlessness of the mind, they become confused, tainted, impure, corrupt, greedy, forgetting all that they had been striving for, all that they had been created for.
"Don't fall." he said in barely a whisper. breaking his gaze, he pressed his frail body against the Seraph, his arms wrapped around him for only a brief moment in a very awkward hug. So Many angels had fallen already, and if Seraphiel fell, being the brother and equal of Lucifer...
He pushed away From Seraphiel, turning his attention back to Phoenix. He didn't want to think about bad things anymore. He wandered slowly over to the lady-angel, His eyes wide with curiosity once again. Her eyes were closed, almost like she was deep in though at the utterly baffling things Seraphiel had previously said.
Perplexed.
And so she should be.
He leaned down in front of her, putting his face so close to hers that their noses nearly touched. "Are you alright?" He asked softly to her, curiosity filling his melodic voice.

Smiling down at the inoccence displayed before him, he spoke, Little Ciel, do not worry. I do not petty myself with the words written by lies, words written in false tenses. No, my research consists of that which only the highest lords are deemed worthy enough to read. And even so, only the eldest of angels are capable of reading such a text. If you think back, you will remember the olden language, of the ancient angels. Well, ancient in comparison with today's generation. Compared to us... Well, our generation. Ahahaha! He of course referred to the language that the angels used to speak in, the ancient tongue. Books from this age were banned from the eyes of any but the highest angels. They were not healthy books to read. One who had the power to read them could gain strenght yet loose sanity as quickly as they opened it. There have been tales, legends, myths of angels being killed by such writings, as if they vanished from existance. This was only done through the ability to read. To write in this language is even more frightening. Only the very eldest of angels know this skill. The four high seraph, of course, lucifer, and the lost Lord Gregori were the only six to have been known to write scripture in this language. There have been a few others, to be honest, but they are not recorded. Each book that still exists, is now located in the confines of Seraphiel's personal study. To ensure maximum protection. And to ensure the protection of heaven's angels. These texts are dangerous to the reader. They kill, corrupt, consume people. Even Seraphiel, Lord of Angels, the only high seraph to have taken the time to read every book found in this language, has lost part of himself. And it was only because The Father required him to read these words. He lost half of his sanity. But is that a bad thing...?
ugh, this post sucks! x.x

Phoenix was not paying attention, she heard a voice in front of her. She opened her eyes and saw Ciel. "I am fine just thinking about silly things is all." she said smiling gently at him. She looked at his lolly pop. Seraphiel was strange yet he was kind, so willing to give this child like entity something so small, yet, Ciel loved it. She loved that fact. She continued to smile at Ciel. Though she did not move, she was kinda confused on why he was so close. Phoenix did note his child like features. He was adorable and cute. She wanted to hug him. She didn't though. Seraphiel was right on one thing, she did not know Ciel. She had just met him, so she would not move until given the okay to do so.

Out of the shadows emerges a miniature demon with eyes aflame and wicked horns, "Suffer My wrath!!" the voice of Lucifer himself booms forth, the toddler sized demon gives a somewhat comical high pitched roar and runs towards Seraphiel as it pulls some sort of weapon from its back.. FLASH! A blinding light erupts and there stands the demon with a novelty squirt gun spraying cold water into the face of the Lord High Seraph..."Gotcha!" echos the voice of Lucifer and peals of laughter fill the halls... (lol had to ! sorry )

Phoenix jumped from the booming laugh reconizing it. She did not move or make any sound. She remained quiet and continued to sit on the stone. She tried to pretend she wasn't there. When the little demon came out and squirted him in the face she tried not to laugh. It was hillarious she controled her self and shifted her weight slightly. She did not smile now she just sat there trying so very hard not to laugh. She did like the little entertainment she was getting. She hadn't laughed in a while even if she was fighting it. It would probably get her into trouble if she laughed.

______xXxCiel~
The booming voice rang clear through the cavern, sending chills of fear and bad memories through the tiny child-like body. If there were ever anything that frightened him more than the atrocities committed by human's gift of choice, it was the Angel who instigated it all. Lucifer.
Without thinking he dropped to his knees, clinging to the lady angel's waist, as if her body could somehow shield him from the betrayer's piercing voice. He began to shiver, his mind fraught with the gory images of the past as the voice continued plaguing his mind with its familiar tone. Instinctively his three pairs of wings began to close in around him, their fluffy white plumage covering his entire body much like a cocoon.
It was only when he heard the sound of stifled laughter that he dared to opened his eyes again. The lady Angel hadn't moved a muscle. Maybe she'd been as afraid as he had been. Maybe she had simply been unfazed because she didn't know the danger...the atrocities that lay within that voice. His wings slowly slid away from his face, allowing him to view a soaking wet Seraphiel. A tiny giggle escaped his lips, then another, haltingly, awkwardly, the humor still touched with flakes of fear.
It was however, delightfully rare to see Seraphiel, the living aftermath of the scene he'd missed, so undignified and seemingly irritated. "How-" He giggled "-did that happen? You're soaked." it was all he had managed to say though his now uncontrollable giggling. It had been awhile since he'd been able to laugh like this. Even though he'd felt fear and terror moments before, caused by the same immortal entity, he was thankful for the brief moment of happiness.
(Well...It makes no sense. That's what I get for writing at 1 am XD)

Phoenix calmed down and looked surprized when Ciel grabbed her. She then smiled and looked at Sera he looking very irritated. She giggled slightly and caught her self from laughing out loud. She then relaxed more. Lucifer did not scare her. She knew that he may be evil and a fallen angel but he extremly kind and funny at times. Her eyes gazed around the area not really trying to find out where he was. She really didn't want to find him though. The memories of her past would come back if she actually saw him.

Collecting himself, Seraphiel breathed. The water steaming off of his attire, disappearing into the dark cavern, never more to be seen. He glanced down at Lord Ciel, smiling. If the young boy smiled, then it was worth it. This "child" was so unique. Keeping him happy would be the safest bet to take. Seraphiel glanced over at Phoenix, his eyes cold, as if they were reading her. Miss Phoenix, he said with a tinge of malice in his throat, You are very young. You know not who Lord Lucifer truely is. You know not what he is truely like. Would take a lifetime for one such as you to understand the complexity that creates his desire. He is not as he appears. He, like Ciel, or myself, is an actor. He puts up a charade of lies around himself, to mask his identity. To mask his intentions. To mask his ideas. Do not believe you know one such as him. It will only lead to destruction. And remember, knowledge is a curse. Seraphiel directed the last one to use himself as an example, his insanity, his curse.
