She laughed "yes, I was never to fond of my own people. But I came here becuase Girmix just isnt my place anymore. I live on Earth. It's nice to see a peaceful race. But you still haven't told me where your from" she said while shooting him a questioning look. Word was not yet out that Girmix had been burned up into nothing.

The Doctor took a breath.
"Gallifrey... or I was, now I just travel."
The Fish Man bubbled another rude comment and this time the Doctor tweaked his ear fin.
"That's enough out of you young man, you're going straight home."

Her eye brow raised "Gallifrey? Does that mean your a......" she said as she looked at him. She had heard of the Time War but never really knew what had happened.

He gave her a mad sort of smile and waved.
"Yeah, that I am... hello!" he smirked, "So what faction did you belong to? Since, well you know, Grimixians and their factions. No offense but there's always one General or another fighting for power."

She couldn't help but open her mouth in awe. The Time Lord stories where her favorite growing up. She wanted to hug him. But she controled herself. "I actually happen to be the daughter of the General rising in power." she said with a small smile.

"Ah, the daughter of a General. That's a big responsibility," he stated as he studied her gaze, "I don't blame you for running away. Been doing it my whole life. I'm sorry, I'm the Doctor, and you are?"

"Aliena or if you want Ally" she said while taking his hand and shaking it. It really was a pleasure to meet a Time Lord. "The Doctor, it's not so bad to be the daughter of a General considering nothing is around for him to destroy so all is well now and possibly forever." she smiled. It was a hint on what had happened to her planet but she din't think he would pick up on it.

As far as hints went that one was not so subtle. He stared at Ally quizzically.
"How'd you mean?" he asked seemingly completely oblivious to the struggling fish man in his grip. "What happened on Grimix?"

"There were Daleks, there were Time Lords..." he replied, "everything burned, you can figure out the rest but that's about the gist of it."

Ally stared back at him. A emptyness went through her. "Same thing happened to Girmix" she said with an unchanged tone.

The Doctor rubbed his eye and kept a neutral expressions.
"Yeah, Daleks would do that. So how many survived?" he asked not meeting her gaze.

She spaced out "I'm the only one left" she said while remembering it all. The screaming people around her as she ran down the streets where fire was everywhere. The only reason she survived was becuase she had an escape pod buried next to her hideout.

The fish person had stopped struggling and was now glancing from the Doctor to Ally.
"Yeah, I know the feeling," he said in an empty tone, "so you came to Earth to settle down or are you passing through?"
