Sabre Chop The in real life Blackbeard (Edward Teach) was legally married while he was a pirate, had papers and everything. And besides, back in the pioneer days who went out west of America, they just said they were married and that would be that. I think the same case would be for pirates because they don't live in an established civilization. So technically speaking in legal terms, many pioneers were not married, and technically had b*****d children. repostan. also thanks

Yes Sabe, I can read --;; I get that he was married WHILE he was a pirate, I was asking if he GOT married while he was already a pirate or did he get married BEFORE he became a pirate then the marriage just stuck? I'm assuming it was during his pirate reputation, but I want to be sure.
