When she called the other day, I told her all of ypour well wishes. I just got her address for those who wanted to send her something...like a get well gift.

Basically this is whats going on.. I was a dork and stepped off my porch funny and hyperextended my knee. I sheered off a piece of bone, and I have a Tibial Plateau fracture. I went through hell to get an appointment with my orthapedic surgeon, but the one I finally got in to see said that the piece of bone that I broke was pretty bad, and if they did surgery it would probably damage my knee more then if they left it alone. The piece of bone is in a good position to heal itself, however. So one week if the bone doesn't move their going to try to cast it. If it moves there going to have to risk surgery.
Thats about how it stands. I have an appointment next week to see if my knee is healing at all, my leg is so swollen I can't move it myself and it takes three people to get me dressed in the mornings so. I might not be on much for awhile. Tonight however I'm going to be somewhere I can get at a computer.

well they doubled my pain meds, so I'm definately more out of it.. I sleep all the time.. and when I'm not asleep I hurt alot.. Yeah they work more now then they did before..

I will try to come back again, but I can't promise that it's going to be any time soon. I'm exhausted and I need to sleep I don't think I will be able to be online again before I leave the house that has internet. I miss you all and think of you often. Update on my condition. Right now I am in enough pain that I want to cry. So far surgery isn't happening which is a good thing. I do have a cast on, but it doesn't fit right, when he put it on I was swollen and now that the swelling has gone down it's loose and practically worthless. My doctors appointment is on Tuesday. He says I'm not out of the woods yet, that surgery is still an option. I should have my cast replaced and find out how my bone is doing in a couple days.
The internet access is still iffy. However I should have some journal updates up very very soon. I miss you all very much and I wanted to let you all know how my recovery is going. As soon as I can I will get on with news if your interested.

*has something going out soon* now any snail mail takes something like a week and a half to two weeks anywhere in north america. So if you get something from Canada... you know who it's from.

GOOD news! I kinda got internet again!!!
Woot for me girls I'm going to be able to be available again, for the most part. I can't be online all day like I was before but I can at least get on every night and RP again! *dances....... or would if she had two good legs.. so instead she just kinda... hops and wobbles*
I will be posting up some hand written things I wrote later like tomorrow in Fauve's journal. I'm not sure how it will fit with the RP, but I'll get it in there somehow.

Thank you guys really... I can't tell you how much I appriciate all the support you've given me, and Icey and TB for being so lenient with my inability to do justice do my darling Fauve.. you guys are the very very best...
I'm going to be going to the doctor in 30 minutes, so I will let you guys know whats going on then, hopefully things keep going well...

alright I just got back from the doctor and he said that the bone seems to be in the same place but there isn't any new bone growth, he said it would be at least another couple of weeks before that would happen. So he said he would check on me in two weeks. Until I get bone growth I'm not out of the woods yet. I got another cast on, one that fits me alot better now that the swelling has gone down.
Maybe now I'll be able to sleep.. have to go lay down... the pain is getting to me..
