KEEP IT CLEAN! Let the Console Wars begin! what about PSP or handhelds? shouldnt you add those? yeah what wolfy said. console wars. handhelds are not consoles. but if you want i can start a "handheld war" thread. sure i'd vote for PSP cause its got internet unlike DS but DSI does too...oh well psp is myvote

I gotta go with the ps 3, not because I dislike the xbox (I would love one) but since I got the oldest version of the ps 3 I can still play my ps 1 and 2 games, and it simply rocks. And the whole, pay thing on the xbox just doesn't suit me, cheap or not. I ain't saying the ps 3 is better than a xbox, I just like it better.

Neox Fox 360's community spends over 1billion hours combined a month on xbox live, thats more said that the either the ps3 or wii. Really? If anything it says more than you do because thet sentence is just nonsense. What are you trying to say? Say it again and try to have it make sense.

PS3 by just hardware wins over all. Its the only system that can output in true 1080p graphics, blu-ray allows for larger games on less disks, all controllers recharge with just the system so no spending money on batteries or battery packs, free online service.
As for games, theres nothing on the 360 that cant be played on the PS3 or PC, and most of the time they are better on the PC.

If anything it says more than you do because thet sentence is just nonsense. What are you trying to say? Say it again and try to have it make sense. I'm sorry you have a hard time reading. . . lol here's the article so you can read about it for yourself. ___ One Billion Hours Spent On Xbox Live Every Month Microsoft have released some figures that show 25 million members of Xbox LIVE around the world are each spending more than 30 hours per month online. It is not clear exactly what Mircosoft define as "time spent", but it still equals over a day of each month is spent connected to LIVE. Major Nelson's blog states that over the past year, there has been an increase of 157% in time spent watching movies and television shows. In the US, 42% of Xbox Live Gold members spend an average of one hour watching either TV or movies on their 360. He also informs us that access to Xbox LIVE is expanding from 26 countries to 35 this November. The dashboard update is also promised "in the very near future". Over the next few months Mircosoft will no doubt expect their impressive figures to increase. The expansion of Live into nine additional countries, the launch of Kinect and the dashboard update, which adds ESPN3 support, are all set to offer Xbox LIVE to an even wider audience.

Im going with the Wii. Because of its backward compadabilaty with the Gamecube (One of the best gameing systems ever!) and because everyone seems like they are haveing more fun playing Wii games.
The Wii also has all the Nintendo franchises I grew up with and love.
I don't have a problem with the other systems, I will play Xbox or Playstation when I get the chance, but I never found a real reason to own them. (I dislike Online Multiplayer, and all PS3 games I want are Japan only.)

My thought on:
Wii- It was fun. Nintendo will always have those certain games that will never be on any other console. Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Mario. Console exclusives, ya know? I don't ever play my wii anymore unless one of those games come out. I just remembered I have to pick up Goldeneye soon. xD The games themselves feel really lacking in terms of gameplay most of the time. I need more.
PS3- Blue ray is awesome. I love that they can fit everything on one disc. What I don't like are all the things that they have taken away from the system. Other OS. You have a choice now to not update. It's fine. You can still play your games right? Wrong. Unless I mis-read something somewhere all the new games are coming out with firmware and you have to upgrade to be able to play the games. There are a lot of features that they have just taken away and it gets irritating. The Playstation Move is pretty sweet. Out of all the intuitive motion sensing things I would say that this definitely has my attention. I can't wait to see what they do with it. Oh yeah! and no more backwards compatibility? What's up with that? PS2 had such amazing games. I'm glad I picked up mine when I did.
360- My friends all have 360s so I got one. Easy to use interface is great. XD That's all that I really have here. I like it overall. I never had a broken one. My first was the Resident Evil Elite. No issues. I do think it's ridiculous how Microsoft charges so much money for a hard drive that has so little. The Kinect. This really only appealed to me because I hate having to look for the controller to pause or rewind when watching a movie. The Kinect doesn't work with Netflix, lame. I haven't really played the actual games much yet. Seems fun, but what all really can you do? I like having buttons. That's why I think Move is pretty sweet in this area.

I rarely get bored playing them, compared to some of the games on the other systems which I do get bored playing them.

I don't ever try to speak for everyone else. What games are you talking about? The unique awesome ones are always extremely entertaining. I'm talking about No More Heroes, Mad World, Sin and Punishment. So, what non-hyped up titles are you speaking of?

I'm going to say PS3. With the Wii in a close second. Its worth your money, and fun. Unlike the other consoles. To be honest, I've hated Microsoft ever since they bought Rare (Or whatever happened) And I'm a graphics whore, and since the Xbox has terrible graphics, I hate it. Alot. Most of the game I want are on the PS3 but better.

As someone who doesn't care about graphics (I'd rather play the good old Final Fantasies than the disgraces they have now) I have to say the Wii wins. Sure it doesn't have the graphics power of the Xbox or PS3 but I have found that gameplay on similar games (example Star Wars Force Unleashed) is far more enjoyable on the Wii than on any other console. Also, Nintendo has had a history of making game consoles that are for gaming. I have a blu ray player and a DVD player. Sony and Microsoft need to learn that just because they add hardware, doesn't mean it puts anything toward the quality of the system.
Another thing is online multiplayer. Yes Xbox live members have the most time online. If I had to pay for the fricken service, I would use it as much as possible too. Its one of the things that stopped me from getting a 360. You have to pay for the console, then the game, then the thing for it to get internet, then for live service. It becomes ridiculous. For the Wii all I have to do is have the Wii and an online game. Though these are few and far between as the Wii is meant to be a more RL social console than an Online antisocial console. Another thing that I USED to like about the Wii's online multiplayer was the lack of headsets. I can't stand playing MW2 on the xbox just because of bitchy little 12 year olds insulting you in your ear. Now of course, black ops supports a Wii headset...*cries*
Now finally on to the games. The Wii has a variety of games suited for all ages. Nintendo understands that gamers come in all ages and they don't make just one style of game. Nintendo also has characters who have been iconic to the gaming world since well..there was a gaming world. As was said before, most Xbox players only play FPS games (one of my least favorite genres) where as Nintendo has a plethora of RPGs and adventure games (which are my favorite)
In the end, which console is really the best is up to each individual gamer to decide. There will never be a "this console is the best" fact due to the simple reason that everyone has different tastes and every console appeals to a different taste.

๑I guess the Xbox and maybe the Wii. The best system of all to me is the PS2 but I don't have that as a choice soo..๑
