What Ary said, you say he's supposed to be attracting crows, and if so, why would he be doing that? (Since usually they're supposed to accomplish the opposite effect) Was he really good at attracting them, or was he just really bad at deterring them?
After being in Breck's Shed for so long, would there be anytime where he'd want to go back, or maybe relies on Breck at all?
I was also wondering how well the teachers/other students would react to there being a murder of crows in their room when he's there, would they make it hard for him to make friendships (I know I'D be avoiding the dude toting around crows...)
I like his FEAR, but I'm not really clear on how illusions of crows/crow caws would cause blindness or deafness.
I think he's a really nice contradiction of himself, I like that (I imagine) he looks very grim and morose, but he seems very plucky and optimistic, it's a really fun idea!
