there's just something really romantic about playing my electric with my headphones on at 3 AM... knowing only i can hear it.
or maybe im just ******** trippy. anyways, i pick electric, although i love both mah babies.

Thats like comparing apples and oranges. I wouldn't want to hear Bach with an electric guitar. No WAY!
But Then on the other hand there isn't anyway I'd want Iron Maiden to play acoustic.
Acoustic Personally. Electric I think is better for jamming out.

i have a question!!!! erm...
im only aloud to play acustic and im erm.... need hlp and plz tell me how to tune it when ever i do i break strings!!! =( my mom says if i cant play it shes gonna take it AWAY! plz hlp =( crying

I personally love combining the two, i think you get a great sound from a heavy electric guirtar with an acoustic right behind it playing hard, but i do enjoy playing electric more mostly because i play lead in my band,but when i sit down to play by myself i do alot of acoustic stuff.

Now this is where I disagree with many people... I have a Martin HD series acoustic guitar, no elctric pickup no nothing just straight box... although I like to play my electric on occasion, nothing, and i mean nothing sounds better to me than a perfectly tuned acoustic..... and the odd thing about my opinion and view is that I started playing on an electric...
