The new booth was certainly striking up some interest. If the whispers generating around the lunchroom and the stolen glances towards the 'reaper' and her table weren't a dead give-away, the students approaching every few minutes or so to sign up certainly were. It wasn't very common for clubs to set up booths like this, not unless you were running for student council, but with speeches over and the votes being tallied, that was out of the question. So, naturally, it was generating some attention. So far, good attention... or so it seemed.
It was hard to tell how many people actually knew what they were signing up for.
Normally, Nuk wouldn't have paid the booth any mind. He likely wouldn't have even noticed. But having recently been through student elections (... sorta) it seemed the skinwalker was a little more observant than he had been before his 'streak of responsibility.' (In all actuality, he was just looking for another reason Shehk might praise him and, therefore, might give him another kiss.) Swiveling his gaze towards the table, he stared at it for a good few moments, glowing gold eyes curiously narrowing a bit, as if thinking something over. Only after that time had passed did he slowly turn back towards the group around the table, a smirk curling the corner of his lips.
There was a moment of conference. Then Nuk got up, leaving the tray where it was, and made his way slowly through the cafeteria, stopping at the table that had gathered so much attention. He took a second to scribble a few things down, his eyes lifting a few times to the reaper as she asked him a few questions before he straightened, setting down the blood red pen and shoving his hands back into his pockets, heading back to the table to join his friends.
The paper he left behind read:

By the time the reaper band "volunteer" had come to her senses, the list was already halfway full. And as the signups list hit the second page, she realised with a slow sort of jubilation that this battle going to rock. literally, well, if you discounted that 'love songs' group.
She was also rather pleased that she had managed to close up the booth before the trio of stink demons, performing solely Hellma love ballads had had a chance to sign up.

BATTLE OF THE BANDSA small, neat package sits on your doorway step. You open it up, unfolding one larger poster, and two smaller cards. The poster reads:
"BATTLE OF THE BANDS,
Start time: Auditions on tonight Location: At the old library crypt near the Town Hall. Simply flash them the first of the admissions cards. Judging: Will be handled after all auditions are done."
The other two cards have intricate designs on them, with BAND ADMISSIONS TICKET clearly plastered on the front - you wonder why you need two for. Oh well, you and your buddies better get ready to rock out that stage."
((OOC RULES:
- In the next 48 hours you will be requested to make a post in exclaim The Old Crypt Rockout with your band teams 'audition'. You can do this however you want it, via a three-band member doodle, a roleplayed out scenario, a poem. You MUST HOWEVER include the following: - Please include ALL YOUR BAND MEMBERS and what they are doing - discuss this with your team and come with a smashing entrance! - If one of your band members is missing or MIA or if you are using a gnome, as long as your have that member's original permission you may choose simply to 'fill in' their role with your own rp post. - Have fun! Make some impromptu lyrics along to for your 'audition'. If its instrumental, roleplay it out. If it has lyrics you'll need to make these up for us. Do whatever you think your students would do in a situation like this! - Don't forget to introduce your band what what you represent before your audition begins (at the beginning of your post). - Only one person needs to post for the team! - GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN. IF a band member sucks, they suck, no worries, they don't have to be good, I really don't think that is the point.. somehow, keep this simple as this is only the BEGINNING of the trials to come! )) ))
