From what I understood from the post I saw, it was accepting the hacked item that messed up the town gate. I don't think the town can be hacked just from people visiting. Does anyone else know if this is the case?

Omg. I can't believe there are already ways to screw up other peoples' towns. This game just came out! What's the world coming to? Why are there such malicious people?

Be careful who you let in. I don't connect much on wifi forunately, but if you've posted your friend code here there's always the possiblity someone will come by and get it, though its probably a bit less likely than if you've posted it in a regular public forum or on a thread in the Gaia games forum. I would also advise against putting your friend code in your sig and instead asking people to PM you for it, so you know who is getting it.

I can't believe someone would do that. I can't beleive ANYONE would do that. I just got the last upgrade for my house and am on my way to grabbing the golden axe, if anyone did that to me I would presonally come to their door and kick their a**. evil

Hmm...thank you for informing us... sweatdrop It's such a shame that people will waste their time and knowledge only to cause such trouble for others... sad I hope Nintendo is able to patch/fix this, before it happens to anyone else... Thanks for warning us. 3nodding i agree with you. People shouldn't waste there time trying to ruin others peoples lifes for the fun of it, something happened to them, or there just plain mean. Nintndo should try to help these people. Wow i should be more careful of who im talking to in case they hurt something of mine or someone else. And yes, those idiots should get a life and find something better to do than wreak havoc on innocent AC players.

i have read reports from other people on other websites and it is very true i know some hackers and there really nice people there towns i very odd because thay have more then 1 nooks or more then one house also that can make any animal or specail guest be in there town any where or in there house!
hackers can hack your town but! there is no danger of puting you friend code and details on show because to get to some ones town you both have to add each other or thay cant get in.
so dont live in fear of hackers only a few hack peoples town and the few people are found out.
