Tsuliria kept her pursuit as the light closed in on her, however to her surprise the light burst into butterfly's, she blinked a few times before the explosion hit. For a moment the smoke hid the two before Tsuliria flew out her hand around Jazz's neck her clothes were tattered from the explosion. Hurling him into the air she looked at him, the fight was over and there was no need to proceed any further...not that it would stop her anyway.
Hurling the chain up she slammed it into Jazz's back to keep him propelled before pulling out a second chain and wrapped one around Jazz's neck and one around his legs. "Do not kill him," She flinched hearing the familiar voice and turned to see Reaper smiling down at her, was he showing sympathy? She decided not to question it and followed orders....however....
Tsuliria attached the chains to the ground and walked up them until she stood over him. "You're lucky Jazz, however, Reaper won't hold me back next time." She released him causing him to fall, reaching down she took hold of Jazz's face before plummeting towards the ground.
Reaper stared at her and crossed his arms watching them fall, turning he walked down fading into the coming darkness.
Grime and dirt flew up as the two hit the ground leaving a small crater in the beautiful garden, Tsuliria stared at Jazz's face before throwing him a few feet away and turning to follow after Reaper, she stopped and glanced back at him. "I held back so be grateful" She turned back around and continued walking. "I'll kill you once I get some sleep, Jazz, so stay alive until then."
With that Tsuliria pulled her chains back into her sleeves before fading into the distance.

Jazz stared up at the sky above him, his body unable to move. As his mouth opened he began to cough, blood spattering as he coughed. His head felt light as he lied there, starring into the bright moon now hung above him.
"Why me..Birth.."
The words slowly escaped his lips as the face of Reaper haunted his mind. Who exactly was that girl? As he flashed back on the fight all he could think about was Reaper, watching, testing him. Why did birth choose him to fulfill this task.
Jazz tried to rise to his feet. His tattered clothes flowed in the night wind. Blood ran down his jaw as he slowly stood. His legs were wobbly and without strength, the fact he could even stand surprised him. He struggled to raise his hand, shaking as he looked down at it. His finger tip was glowing dimly, the small light left in him struggling to hang on.
"Thank god that didn't kill me..."
This was his curse, the curse that Reaper bestowed upon him. As long as his light kept shining he wouldn't die, but if it were to be snuffed out, so would his life.
Jazz fell to his knees, his mind becoming foggy. His vision began to tunnel as he struggled to stay conscious. The pain from his wounds felt like razors stabbing into him, the marks from the chains still burned around his neck. As his body fell forward, his consciousness slipping from him, he heard a small voice.
Come when you're ready boy
Jazz hit the ground, weak, unconscious. He knew in his head he wasn't strong enough to take on Reaper and his followers. As he lie there in the field that started it all, he slept. Silence fell over the field, the lights of the fireflies all blown out, all that remained were a boy and a crater.

"This many of you willingly choose to follow one short-sighted fool, just because he's gifted with power?"
As one, the crowd spun to face the empty night around them, searching desperately for the source of the voice. Somewhere on the open grass plain was the Soldier of chaos sent to strike down their leader. They were all dedicated fighters who served a Messenger of Birth; and yet, despite the fact that they outnumbered him fifty to one, a primal fear for their lives still coursed through them.
"I can't say I mind, really. I have no problems with such humble opposition." The voice spoke again, still drifting ominously upon the cold night breeze. "Summon Blade, Numeral Drei; Function of Funf. Balance Equation."
With the entire crowd of innocent, ignorant men watching the shadows around them, none of them noticed the faint streaks of golden light that suddenly illuminated the center of the mob.
"March blindly into the abyss for him, then. Clear the way for his pathetic soul."
In a flash, the young servant of the rebel deity of Death began to tear through the massed crowd, ignoring their screeches of pain and pleas for mercy. Droplets of scarlet blood dissolved as they fell upon the ethereal claws covering his fingers, infusing the air with a sickly, metallic odor. About as many that tried to run also stood their ground to fight, only feeding the mounting chaos. They were gutted, impaled, ripped to pieces; any sort of injury that was necessary to end their struggling.
Within moments, all fifty two of them were decimated. Not a single one of them had been a match for Mordikai; but then, the purpose of this slaughter wasn't to bring about the deaths of such useless men. It was meant to draw out the man who now individually opposed Mordikai, the one with the enraged snarl on his face as wispy shadows congregated about his blade.
"I'd like you to know, as much as I enjoyed that, it really was a waste of my time."
Before Birth's Messenger could summon the rage and will to strike, the claws on Mordikai's hands slipped free and flew directly towards his opponent, forcing the man to bring his longsword about to parry. He swatted aside each of nine blades--but it was only the tenth that mattered, and after a moment of tense silence, it was the tenth that found its mark.
That last blade, still wrapped around the middle finger on Mordikai's right hand, slid straight through the man's throat. He gasped for air, already beginning to gag on the boiling blood in his esophagus.
"Despite what you may think, your life matters little to your Lord. You are but less than a pawn in this war." Mordikai smirked savagely, the first sign of emotion to cross his face that night. He yanked his finger from the man's throat, leaving the claw behind. He spun on his heel and casually began to make his way from the scene, delaying the final order as long as possible."Function Command: Terminate."
Like a candle urgently snuffed out by a heavy flood of darkness, the blade vanished, and the man dropped to his knees, seemingly freed from the pain. His fingers reached up to the hole in his throat, clutching in disbelief. The prospect of being allowed to live on had just begun to sink in when he noticed the nauseating scent of cauterized flesh that permeated the air. He tried to scream in pain, but the only sound that emanated from his ruined throat was a hollow, high-pitched gasp as every bit of his existence began to dissipate into the night.
Completely uninterested in the man's horrifying death, Mordikai strode away through the night, allowing nothing to delay him from the path that would return his loving sister to him.

Rise Jazz, there is still much to live for.
Jazz' eyes flew open, the bright blue sky above him. He lay there motionless, taking a deep breath in as the clouds rolled over head. His body was still very stiff and aching from his encounter with the envoy of Reaper.
"My name is Tsuliria."
Her voice echoed through his head like a bell ringing in the distance. So close yet so very far away. Jazz slowly sat up, rubbing the back of his head and slowly taking in his surroundings. He was in a crater, one made by his body. Jazz let out a heavy sigh and stumbled to his feet.
"Seems like all I can do now is head back into town."
Jazz made it to his feet, brushing off his jacket as he took a step forward. He stopped to look back at the hill that just hours ago possessed the man responsible for this 'war'. Jazz turned and slowly made his way back into town.
Upon arriving, Jazz noticed a large crowd huddled around an alleyway. Jazz' curiosity peaked as he made his way over. He looked down at his hand, it's soft glow returned. He clenched it as he approached the crowd. A guard lay dead, a chunk of building next to him. The crowd whispered among themselves, the panic obvious in their voices. Jazz looked to see two more bodies, slammed into walls just a little while down.
No way a normal vandal could have done something like this...
Jazz thought to himself, inspecting the surrounding buildings for some form of clue. His eye was caught on a shadow, seemingly watching him, flee from a rooftop. As the figure disappeared a loud yell came from behind him.
"Die filthy dog of Birth!"
Jazz turned to see a figure cloaked in black flying from him from an adjacent building. The crowd scattered in panic, fleeing into their homes. Jazz flexed his hand before gripping the man's sword arm, spinning him through the air, and slamming him into the ground behind Jazz.
Jazz gave a small smirk as the assailant stared up at him.
"You should have stayed quiet"
Jazz threw the man into the air before flinging a small needle like spear at him.
"Tell Tsuliria we're not done with what we started"
With that Jazz turned and slowly walked away as the man fell. He snapped his fingers causing the needle in the man to give off a small explosion, causing him to bounce as he hit the ground. Jazz made his way out of town in search of answers, hoping his message would reach it's destination.

Tsuliria paced the floor as her fellow comrades stared at her, though she didn't quite consider them as such. They had gathered at the warehouse near the pier, however due to short notice and...incidents not all of them could come, only the ones fortunate or unfortunate to be in the area.
She glanced towards the entrance seeing a man stagger in, she turned and walked over to him catching him before he fell over before he looked up at her. "I have a message....." His voice was strained and he seemed be sweating profusely, Tsuliria nodded her head as a notion to continue. The man relayed the message, Tsuliria asked him how he was attacked which he also answered a bit ashamed.
She looked at her right arm for a moment when he finished speaking. "Jazz," "Seems he hasn't given up." Turning she walked back in front of the men before turning to face them, she closed her eyes for a moment before a chain slithered out of her sleeve before wrapping around the wounded man's neck lifting him into the air, he clutched at the chain which only made her tighten the hold.
"Listen closely I'd rather not repeat myself," Tsuliria said before opening her eyes. "Our goal is a difficult one especially with Birth's little helpers out there, however we must still induce chaos to please Reaper less our lives be forfeit." She stopped letting the words sneak in before continuing.
"Here's the plan, we're going to construct a barrier to prevent anyone from getting in or getting out and cut off their supplies among other things, it will also trap humans or cowards in our fights, since they won't be able to leave the village. Constructing the barrier is only the beginning however, but it is a crucial step." She pointed to one side of the room.
"A quarter of you will be distracting the guards to keep them from interfering, we'll have our man transported with a few guards."
She pointed towards the back of the warehouse before continuing. "We'll be using the carriage we borrowed to keep from drawing too much attention. Once he reaches the central square the rest of you will be guarding him to make sure no one get's near him especially Birth's soldiers. If you fail...."
She glanced at the still hanging man before he let out one last grunt before a snap echoed and his body went limp, the chain released him and disappeared in her sleeve before she continued. "Deliver the message to those that couldn't come, we start in an hour."

A man in a dark cloak started running through town making sure to avoid the gathering guards, he ducked into an alleyway avoiding the homeless who reached out for him. He climbed onto a rooftop and continued his travels over the heads of the citizens before jumping off and landing near a boy, he knelt down on one knee and lowered his head. "Mordikai," the man started. "You are needed in Central Square to guard one of our men as he casts a barrier, please move there quickly."
A carriage moved through the city towards Central Square, a man in a black suit guided the carriage looking around at the people walking through town, a small smile formed on his face as he clicked his tongue and made the horses move a little faster. "Everything seems to be going well," he said with a small smile.
The carriage stopped near Central square and the man in the suit jumped down and opened the door, a few men climbed out of the carriage before a man with white hair stepped out, rubbing the back of his head he looked at central square.
The place itself was large with a small clock tower on the far side of the square, a large grassy area was in the center of Central with a stone walkway surrounding it and leading in four different directions, street lamps decorated the sides of the walkways, people wandered around some talking and others playing.
The white haired men walked onto the grass and stretched a little before rotating his right arm. "Okay let's get this over with." His hands came together and he pulled them away to cause a red energy to form between them, the reapers watched as the guards started to take notice. "The fun's about to start."
