Last month, I bought the Planetes DVDs, and I think the entire cast was brilliant.

Gundam Wing Full Metal Alchemist Gunslinger Girl Hellsing (the dub was great, but the anime got bad at the end. I'm waiting for the OVAs to get dubbed) Excel Saga

Good Dubs I've Watched (in no particular order; abridged list)
- Fate/stay night [Even though Liam O'Brien is not the most appropriate choice for Archer, Julie Ann Taylor sounds a bit flat when she's angry, and Stephanie Sheh and Sherry Lynn should switch roles, everyone else checks out just fine. Kate Higgins as Saber = <3] - s-CRY-ed - Eureka Seven - Bleach [Seriously, who cares what the bashers say?] - Naruto [See Bleach.] - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG [Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Motoko Kusanagi = <3] - Mobile Suit Gundam SEED [Even though Matt Hill and Chantal Strand both suck and blow, Sam Vincent, Vanessa Morley, and the rest of the cast make up for it considerably. I still have issues with Lisa Ann Beley and Tabitha St. Germain, though.] - FLCL [Kari Wahlgren as Haruko Haruhara = <3] - Spiral [Caitlin Glass as Hiyono Yuizaki = <3] - Fullmetal Alchemist - Cowboy Bebop - Trigun - Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - Blood+ [Kari Wahlgren as Saya Otonashi = <3] - Digimon - Kodocha [One of many reasons why I sometimes get Laura Bailey mixed up with Melissa Fahn.] - Neon Genesis Evangelion [For a production of its time, the English dub for Eva was actually quite decent. Even though she can be grating at times, Tiffany Grant as Asuka Langley Soryu = <3]

I will despise the Yu-Gi-Oh dub for the rest of my days, but 4Kids did slip up and cast Pegasus VERY well. oO; It was scary.
Still, other than 4Kids stuff, I think I've liked every dub I've seen. ...Although, I must disagree with the Fruits Basket thing a tiny bit. X3; I think Ayame's voice actor was a little off. He is a hard voice to cast, though. Muuuuch too hyper... XD

Neon Genesis Evangelion, with Tiffany Grant as Asuka. I loved it. Spike does a good Shinji too. Mainly I think all the actors were great! Maya is a bit off in the Platnum dub though.

More to come later but.
Naruto, I mean thats the whole reason I'm still watching the show, to support a dub that is really the least edited dub ever to hit Toonami.

Good Dubs: Naruto- It is one of the best dubs I see because there's no real differance between the english voice actors and the japanese voice actors. It more than less puts thos english dub hating people down. Full metal alchemist- That was great and the voices fit the character. FFVII Advent Children- There's no reason why this should be put down. The voice actors were done well put people hate it so much. I dont see any reason to hate it.

DTechnolife Perhpas I'm the first one to declare that Bleach and Naruto turned out excellent? =DI've been saying Naruto's a good dub since it came out. It may not be the best dub ever, but considering it's a Toonami anime with a target age of 12, it's pretty well done. The people that bash it just want an excuse to not pay for their anime. One of the best dubs I've ever seen is Fullmetal Alchemist. All the actors did their parts justice, and some even surprised me (Laura Baily as Lust!) I preferred most of the English cast to the Japanese (though Romi Paku and Vic Micnogna still battle it out in my head). The Princess Tutu dub is also very, very well done. There is not a single VA that does a bad job, even the minor characters. (The only time I thought it was off was when they had someone doing a Mexican accent, but then I saw it was a chihuahua ^^; )

You can add black lagoon to that list as well.
The dub was perfect, it felt completely natural when I was first watching it despite watching the sub the day before the DVD arrived. And I love Geneon for adding lyrics to the opening theme. The only thing is- don't watch the dub in front of Parents, Grand Parents, or children. It adds swearing. A lot more.

Naruto - As have I. I just hadn't seen anyone in this thread post those two, yet. XD
On the subject of VAs that surprised you...Vic Mignogna as Femio in Princess Tutu. I didn't even realize it was him until I saw the credits. And it was then that I laughed my head off. Ed was good, but Femio is my FAVORITE Vic Mignogna role EVER <33
I also REALLY REALLY like the TSUBASA RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE dub. I do admit that it took me an episode or two to get used to Kurogane's voice (I didn't imagine it as husky, but I had never seen the sub, so I don't know if it fits in that respect), but I like it now. (: I just can't buy that series because I dislike the anime itself. XP
