"You don't have to be so cruel about it," Lian murmured, flinching at the accusations. It was hard to argue, when she wasn't certain if the other mare was being truthful or not.

Frost groaned softly, slowly coming back to awareness.

And Frost went back down.
"That's enough!" Lian snapped, advancing on the mare, glaring. It was one thing to insult Lian, and another entirely to attack an innocent. Which Lian was assuming Frost was.

A small red and black raccoon slipped out of the bushes and put itself between Mary and Lian, chittering angerly.
"Now look what you did," Mary drawled. "Is there no one you will not bother in your selfish pursuit to convince yourself you are the all knowing all powerful center of justice?"

"Apparently not?" Mary mimicked unkindly. "Is that all you have to say, oh great paragon of all that is right in your own feather brain? Apparently not?"

Mary flicked her tail, a silent command.
Taphos nodded and skittered up Lian's leg, climbing onto her back.
"No, feathered freak, I suggest you leave."

"W...what the..." Lian thrashed her wings, trying to get the creature off her.
Frost stirred again and stared for a full second before scrambling to her feet and quickly making her escape.

Mary scowled. "The initiation was not complete thanks to your incompetent bungling. Taphos, you know what to do."
The familiar nodded and started ripping at her feathers from her perch on Lian's back.

She screamed as feathers were ripped and bucked and rolled, trying to get him off of her.
