Yes, I read your entire post, just to let you know.

Where does the entertainment point comes from? I never said that you said they were not entertaining. All I did was pointing out that today, there are still some Divas (and Knockouts for that matter) with incredible ring skills, not just eye candies.

But I'll say right now, I agree with you on many points you brought, hence why I said wrestlers turned eye candies. TURNED. They don't have the choice because that's what they're asked to do.

The reason why I brought in the point of the wrestlers from the 80's and 90's was for the sole reason that yes, they were somehow alluring for their time, but these girls were hired for their ring skills first. Their goal was to pull a wrestling match, not have 1/3 of the audience leaving the arena with extra inches in their pants, if you know what I mean. Today, you have a mix of both. People who can wrestle and people who are just there for the looks. And unfortunately, those who fall under the second category gives a bad rep to those in the first one.

Of course, the same thing appears when it comes to male wrestlers. And to be fair, the problem is not exclusive to the wrestling business. The whole system has an over-proportionate focus on looks. But compared to some Divas, the guys you mentioned have ring skills to go with the job they do.

And between you and I, I'd rather classify Chyna into the category of "only clothing she could move well in" because a woman who could whoop my a** is not so attractive xd

But yeah, if there's one thing you should keep in mind from that, there it is: a girl in wrestling business is not just an eye candy, that value is only put on the front scene.

and yet every diva (except chyna...at times she's had the chest but... *shudder* ... man face...) are also eye candy.
what I hate is how so much of the diva stuff seems like some high school drama... like back a ways when mickie james got all sobby because she was taunted by laycool... really Mickie? really? you're a grown woman and you're all crying because you got some food poured on you, or are called "piggy james" ... ugh... that annoyed the hell outta me... I'm still waiting for natalya to shut laycool up.

Yeah no seriously, they dropped the ball on that division a long-a** time ago. The best way to bounce back where they should (and used to) be would be to have Beth Phoenix and Natalya in a feud to like, set the tone for what they want in the future. A little like TNA did with Mickie James and Tara, two leaders to send a message to the roster that if they don't step up their games, they're not gonna go any further.

You have to take into account that Linda McMahon is running for senate. Public image is important to the WWE right now. Any skeletons that feel like taking a walk in the day will probably be shot on sight for the foreseeable future.

Yes, I understand that. What I'm trying to say is why is Kaitlyn still there when she too has taken "risque" photos?

I think it says the whole thing is nothing but a rumor spread around the web. That there's something else behind her retreat from NXT 3 and, later, her release. Like I said earlier, if they had to fire everyone with some dirty little secrets, the roster wouldn't be huge. Just MVP, he went to jail for robbery and kidnapping... And he's still in WWE. So I guess the past of a wrestler, as dark as it can be, doesn't say much about his employment.

And as far sa risque photos goes, there's still a few divas who were there back when the bikini mag was an annual thing, and some pics there can be seen as "risky" as well.

3 things:

1. Little kids still think that girls are icky and have cooties

2. Wow MVP was arrested for robbery and kidnapping, I didn't know that.

3. Didn't Jack Swagger a while ago keep bringing up the fact that MVP was in jail before? So they obviously made it public so that'll be a d**k move to fire him for that xd

1. It's not just kids watching the show

2. Yup

3. It was CM Punk, but they did bring that up. Not to mention they capitalized on that part of R-Truth's life (if it's real) to promote him coming to WWE. But also, they fired Helms not too long after that arrest thingy. And between you and I, being arrested sounds worse than having your tits here and there on the web. So this almost cancels the nude pics argument the news reports websites keep coming with.

Well what I meant was that they are worried about the PG stuff, but the kids that they made it PG for still think that. mrgreen
