Gunnar laughed at her threat. He was starting to feel much better. Zsaria might not have true passion to be a Reaver, but she was fierce. He approved. Fierce females didn't appeal to him romantically - he certainly didn't share Taraxa's interest in them - but he decided he could get along with Zsaria for as long as she fought beside him. When she did raise her cubs, she would surely have strong, bold sons.
"I'd like to see you try," the blond lion said, grinning his ferocious grin. "We should duel soon." He nodded, pleased at his own idea. He hadn't dueled a fellow Reaver in a while, and fighting Zsaria would be interesting. The lions he usually fought were male. A battle with a female warrior - not a clumsy, flailing, foreign female - would be an interesting and valuable experience. "But not now. I haven't had any mint myself, in a while." He smiled at Zsaria, starting to feel quite friendly. Come to think of it, a female would be a perfect friend to take mint with. Even if he overindulged and started rambling like a fool, as a female she likely wouldn't think less of him for it.

"A duel," she nodded, "When my head stops swimming later on, for sure." She hadn't taken much mint but it always had a profound effect on her, lasting and calm. It was usually the reason she would open up like she had. She didn't feel she abused it, but she did prefer to partake in seclusion. It wasn't often she had shared the experience with another. There had been a few times in her adolescence, sneaking away from the pride's eyes, but those had been romanticized times. "I'd offer you a bit but I'm afraid I've none to give at the moment. Tomorrow perhaps? Assuming there are no challengers I could look for some more."

Even though Zsaria had turned down his offer for the moment, Gunnar was still pleased. The more he thought about it, the more the idea of taking mint with Zsaria appealed to him. Like any Stormborn worth his salt, Gunnar loved the stuff, but he always strictly moderated himself when around his fellow Reavers.
With Zsaria, though, there would be little risk of embarrassing himself after a bit too much.
"Tomorrow would be good," Gunnar said, nodding decisively. A duel sounded good as well. He wouldn't press the issue while Zsaria was under the effects of the mint, however. He wanted to test himself against the female Reaver while she was fresh. He grinned at Zsaria, a bit less fiercely this time. "I'm heading back to the stronghold now. Not all of us can laze about all day." His words might have been taken as insulting, but his tone was light now. Gunnar casually sassed his fellow Reavers all the time. If he was trying to treat Zsaria as male now, it would be no different with her.

"I'll come to find you," she decided with a nod, flashing a quick smirk to his jab. "You're right, you better be off then. They might desperately need someone to clean out the cub dens." She could be a bit of a prat when she wanted, her eyes still a little glassy. It was a bold joke for her still, many of the other Reavers wouldn't have taken lightly to it coming from her. She felt a little comfortable with him now, even if it was just in the sense of purposefully rubbing each other the wrong way.
