Heh...I've got a few. I'm going to go in order, too. (Well, sort of...)
Walking Contradiction: Because I am one a lot of the time (not in a hypocritical way...I just contradict a lot of the things I say, but they make sense in my mind. And saying I'm a walking contradiction but not in a hypocritical way proves my point exactly.)
She: I just REALLY like the lyrics to that song...It 'speaks to me'... xp I can't explain it. "She's figured out all her doubts were someone else's point of view."
Walking Alone: Just read the lyrics and it'll explain what I feel like a lot of the time. The only part that doesn't fit is the last verse. But the first verse and the chorus fit PERFECTY.
Minority: (not so extreme) I don't want to be like everyone else. Not that I won't be part of the majority if that's truly how I feel...I won't be the minority JUST to be the minority...but I like being an individual.
The Grouch: I don't think the world owes me, but I'm in that state of mind a lot. The phrase that gets to me the most is "Wasted youth and a fistful of ideals. I had a young and optimistic point of view." I have a young and optimistic point of view, except when I look to the future. It just looks very bleak to me, and I get depressed about my future, and I think I'll end up with that mentality of "The world owes me so ******** you!" and I feel like I'm going to be "another shitty old man" only I'm a girl. I feel like I'm wasting my youth. I'm 17 and I still act like I have not a care in the world...
And I don't know if this counts, but I asked my friends to pick any song that reminds them of me (not necessarily Green Day) but one friend picked "She's A Rebel". *shrug* I guess it could work.
