"That would be nice." Serenade murmured wistfully. It was hard living alone in the dorms, which was probably why Bo liked visiting her so often to brighten her up. Although, she thought, even with Elke around, Bo would still pop in as frequently as he did now. The thought of then living all together was comforting, almost like the old days when they were all young and all they had in the Zodiac Castle was each other's company. "Everyone else has their own life though." She, on the other hand? Her life revolved around worrying about Chronos' problems, piano and schoolwork. Even back then, when the Zodiac Soldiers first arrived at the castle, she had always felt horrible at the thought of tearing them away from their families and their home planet. "I'll think about it."
Even if Noel had mentioned it, Serenade had probably forgotten. If it had been Eve, however, the Senshi of Spring would have picked up the gossip and related it to her, which was the only way she would find out. Luckily for Bo, Eve had been too busy with settling into university.
"Not really." She said, but gripped the pole steadily. "But it's just a matter of waiting for the fish to take the bait, right?"

Bo cocked his head to one side, not too unlike a confused but happy puppy. "Princess, you're my life," he said. "You are the most important thing to me in the universe." He reached out and placed his hand on top of hers. A moment passed, his hand on hers, and then Bo sat back, unreadable save the permanent smile he hid behind.
A hand reached out to squeeze the bait on her hook a little more. "I think the whole gang would be much more excited about it than you think. Just look at the Geminis -- they already have their bat cave. We could all have a bat cave. One big bat cave." Bo stretched his arms out on either side of himself to communicate just how big that place could be. (Or maybe he was asking for a hug?) "Or maybe, like, we could all rent apartments in the same building? Then we would still be near each other, but with our own space too. There are a few empty spaces in me and Noel's building, but I don't know if it would be enough..." There was also the problem of people who still lived with their parents, but Bo wasn't forward-looking enough to consider that.
When Serenade gripped the fishing pole, Bo scooted forward, moving her hands toward the rubber grip. "This is a pretty basic one. It doesn't have a fancy reel, and the line is pretty short." He held up a red and white plastic orb. "This is your bobber. Once you cast your bait, this will float on the surface. You want to watch it. If it starts to bob sharply, then you probably have a fish on the line. You need to jerk your hands up quickly to sink the hook." He made the motion. "And then I will help you pull it in, since you have to do it with your hands."
Bo scooted back to give Serenade room to cast.

Serenade blinked at him, confused too, yet there was a surprisingly warm feeling at being told those words so honestly. "No, no." She finally managed out, patting his hand with her other. "I mean, you have a life too, as Bodhi Hanley." Not like her, when her life as Serenade Soriano was almost completely non-existent. "There are people out there in your life other than me, other than the Zodiac, I'm sure." How could he not? Bo was the sweetest, friendliest guy she knew.
"Maybe we could discuss this someday." Serenade told him with a smile, a twinge of longing in her eyes. To have all of them living so close to one another would be like a dream come true for her, but like she had said earlier, they all had lives, as their civilian selves. It was a fact that was easy to comprehend, but sometimes a little hard to accept. Just sometimes, when she was feeling a little selfish and then promptly smacked herself for thinking so.
She nodded thoughtfully along to his explanations. It sounded easy enough, throw the line into the water, and if the bobber started to move about, she'd have to pull it up. It took a deft swing of her arms to land the line in the water, and then she sat back, giving Bo a small smile. It was nice to just sit here, surrounded by the soft sounds of nature and feel calm and throwing every care away.
Maybe she'd have to do this more often.

Serenade could say whatever she wanted, but Bo would never change his mind. He lived for her happiness. Her smiles were more precious to him than his own. Her laughter ran in his mind like a song that he'd been singing quietly his entire life. These feelings swelled in his chest like a balloon about to burst. It was something he was used to; this was what being around Serenade did for him. The warmth rolled like a wave over him, washing him in the light of her presence. It happened in a few ticks of the clock, and just like that, Bo remembered all over again why he loved her more than he would ever be able to explain.
So he simply dropped his eyes to the bottom of the canoe and smiled to himself. Bo wasn't going to argue with her, even if he knew she was wrong. Whoever he was as Bohdi Hanley mattered very little in the grand scheme. Even someone like him could see that. Serenade was a princess. She could never just be some schoolgirl. Bo was a handmaiden. He could never just be a college student. Their lives rose and fell to a different pulse than the rest of the world.
Bo reached out and tugged at the fishing line as it landed in the water. "Just like a pro," he said, grinning. "Now just watch the bobber." The canoe rocked as the gangly boy shifted farther back on the seat, relaxing.
A comfortable silence passed between the two, and the Senshi of Summer closed his eyes and imagined a world where it was just like this -- just the two of them adrift on a quiet sea, calmed by each other's silence and the gentle thrum of their beating hearts and pleasant sighs. If this was his fate, then Bo would gladly die that day, any day, just to have these moments with the girl he would follow to the ends of the universe.
