well, usually characters and settings rely on each other alot in a comic/manga. Starting with what we already know...
- Present day
- fantastic-reality type world
honestly that still leaves ALOT of different story/setting/character variations. sweatdrop So um... anyone get an inspiration of a story idea? ^^;;
(something I saw in a comic called October 28th or something was that it was not only a joint comic, but it was based on 2 different stories going on within the same world. confused random idea throw out.)

I'm still thinking that the story could develop as it goes~ XD I think it might be more "modern" than "present-day." That way it can be in the fuiture, or even in the past, or on another world altogether. Some modern conveniences here, not there, etc.
And, story idea, erm... >>; I am really fond of corrupt science, as I said, so maybe that could be worked in...?

Story-wise i'm fine with most anything. 3nodding I'm not so good at drawing laboratories(sp) and machinery and stuff, but i could use the practice.
As for characters, i think we should vote on one or two main characters and then make up the rest as we go. ninja

as far as scenery goes, I'm alot better at doing village/outsidy type places but like ix said practicing on something more structured would help me get better at that type of scene...(age?)
the voting sounds good to me, we now just need some characters to choose from.

Hey, I can't draw ANY sort of background, so ANYTHING would be practice for me. XD I wasn't thinking we'd have to draw a whole lot of laboratories, anyway. And NO, whatever that area was in the Illuminati video was NOT what I meant by "corrupt science"... >////>

ma, we could actually have a character that wears ear-muffs all the time, mean otherwise no one's said a peep about any other character designs. (as long as someone shows me what they look like *brick'd*)

Sorry I wasn't really around this week. I REALLY need to update my gallery, too. o__O;
I was thinking... maybe we should just set up the character designs and plot after all? Make those specific, and any little changes can be done along the way be different artists. We're not gonna shoot anybody for doing things a little bit differently, of course. sweatdrop
Earmuffs sounds cute! I can think of a kid (young teens) boy wearing earmuffs. Maybe he's an informer of some type. XD It seems like he's not paying attention, but he IS. o__O

ooh, that sounds fun. :3 (personaly I vote Cruzle comes up with the earmuff character if no one has any objections to the character so far)

That'd be neat! Some underlying stories that aren't supposed to be expected or detected, but oh-so-are (at least by the reader).

AN IDEA!
How about we all come up with a character and then just come back with either sketches or descriptions in a few days...? Just so everyone has time to see, what about... Friday? They'd just be sketches, too, so no worries. O 3O I would love to draw that earmuff boy, unless you want him, drawer. XD After all, he was your idea. My unfortunate nature only is creative when based upon the ideas of others. Which totally sucks, but it's better than nothing. XD
ANYWAY! YES! Does this idea sound good...? If we have basic personality traits and START something then, well, other things should start starting, too. Like story formulation, plot, and all the underlying themes brought up previously.

sounds good to me this'll be great since I'll be on a sort of "mini-vacation" for the rest of this week to work with an idea on, but I think Cruzle should since really the earmuffs were your idea, and I really don't know anything about earmuffs *had to look them up just to know what Cruzle was talking about* ^^;;;; *MAJOR BRICK'D*
