Golden eyes were squeezed shut and tight. She couldn't see what was going on, but she could definitely hear everything. Obviously some good hits against the beastly plant had been made, but at the same time, it was just making the plant enraged.
She continued to try pulled, but she only looked like a mule with a plow that was far too heavy for it. She wasn't going anywhere, and she wasn't going anywhere fast.
"F*ck those phones, jus' get yer a** over 'ere and help me pull!" Once more she fell to her knees, but tiredly, she was up again. As a fair warning, she mentioned "Don't touch th'rainbow!"
The next thing she'd say was definitely going to be a first. "If yer able, jus' pick me up and pull!"
Thank God Jared and Zuniga weren't around!

For all his failures as a senshi, Sailor Neso was naturally very tall and very strong. He also took direction pretty damn well. The second Iris told him to pick her up and pull, he scrambled to his feet, locking one arm under the senshi of rainbows' armpits. It took a second to lift her up, but then he was running, pulling with all of his might against the girl that held the lasso that held the youma.
The youma snarled and shivered, trying to break free, but it couldn't. Cooking flesh seared the night sky, but Neso kept pulling. Just when his arms started to really shake, Neso heard a pop! and then felt all tension release.
It happened too quickly for him to react in time with all of his momentum moving in the opposite direction. Just as the youma dissolved into dust, Neso went flying -- and Iris, still in his arms, came along for the ride.

If the Senshi of Soap was around, they should have been cleaning the Senshi of Rainbow's mouth.
Sailor Iris' hand released its tight fist, making the rainbow vanish. The sudden trip through the air had been rather unexpected, so there had been no way to brace for it. In a rather undignified manner, she flailed a bit in the other senshi's hold and rather heavily landed against him when they landed.
Normally the tomboy would have pushed herself up, her ego insisting she act more masculine about the situation. She was no damsel in distress. Unfortunately, exhaustion was winning her over today to the point where she was just laying there.
"I don't think I'm gonna be able t'make it home... f*ck my life..." She laughed in an uncaring manner, as if such a detail was rather trivial.

Sailor Neso peeked over his shoulder just to be sure the youma was gone. It was, every speck of dust had already evaporated into thin air. He turned his attention back to the girl who was more or less cradled in his arms. "You were amazing!" he said, a smile breaking up the concern that had been there before. "I've never seen a senshi have so many different attacks before." This was true. The most powerful senshi that Neso had met to date was Sailor Virgo, or maybe Princess Chronos. This was his first experience with an eternal.
After a moment of resting, Sailor Neso got to his feet. He kept Iris in his arms. After all, she had said that she couldn't make it home on her own! He didn't feel like he needed to explain what he was doing.
Neso glanced one way and then the other. "I like your angel wings," he said idly. And then: "So, which way is your house?"

He didn't need to explain, but the blonde tomboy almost seemed to growl slightly as he continued to carry her. She was too tired to argue, but at the same time, she wasn't exactly going to cooperate either. The last thing she needed was other senshi knowing where she lived. The sole exception to this rule was Sailor Metis in all honesty, but things were different because they were on the same team and civilian Ellie Spectre would never be caught dead at Crystal Academy.
Gruffly, the eternal senshi stated her opinion on the matter of her butt wings. "Angel wings are bullsh*t!" There wouldn't be any beaming over the gushing compliments he was offering, nor would there be any mention of which direction was the right way. For the most part, Sailor Iris was just stubbornly silent.

Sailor Neso laughed off whatever unpleasantness Iris spewed. He tried not to let anything bother him, and even if it did, he would rather ignore it than actually deal with it. Besides, Neso believed that goodness existed in everyone. He was fully prepared to be nice and nicer and nicest until Iris melted and agreed to be his friend.
When she looked in a certain direction, he assumed that was her way of telling him which way to go, even if she didn't explicitly say so. Neso walked and walked, carrying Iris all the way, for nearly an hour. Only when his arms got tired did he set her down on a bus stop bench.
"I'm not sure if this is close enough, but I hope it is." Neso shook his arms out. "I don't think I can carry you anymore." There were houses and apartment buildings around them. Being an eternal optimist, Neso simply assumed this was right. "Have a good night, Sailor... wait, I don't think I got your name. I'm Sailor Neso, Senshi of Summer." He said it proudly and extended a hand to her, waiting for a shake.

The other yellow suited senshi, rather than bringing Sailor Iris closer to where she lived, had actually managed to walk her clear to the opposite side of town. He had even managed to walk her past where Hank's place of work was. In all honesty, she really didn't care. She just wanted to sleep all of this off, though it would probably take 3 days of straight sleeping to get back her strength.
She probably could have drifted to sleep on that bus stop bench, if it wasn't for one thing.
There was a hand right in front of her, waiting to get shook.
Sailor Iris and Ellie Spectre both couldn't resist the lure of a good handshake. So despite being tired, she reached her hand up and took his tanned hand in her white glove. Despite how tired she was, she made sure her handshake was her usual strength, which was actually pretty strong for a handshake. "Go by Sailor Iris... and I think it's pretty obvious what I'm th'Senshi of..."
Her head leaned back so her eyes could see the night sky. "Next time we meet... don't be such a p***y..."

Wow, Sailor Iris had quite the grip for a lady senshi. Neso winced, shaking his hand out after she released it. "Quite the grip, Iris," he said, laughing. But ow. He probably should have offered the hand that didn't kiss the ground that night.
Assuming he had taken her home and was therefore done with his duties, Sailor Neso started to jog away. He spun around and ran backwards for a moment, waving. "Okay, I'll try!" he shouted. He hadn't exactly heard what she said, but he got the jist.
With that, Neso turned back around and sprinted off into the darkness, heading toward his apartment. He'd dusted another youma! What an accomplishment. No matter what Iris said, he was proud and planned on reenacting the entire saga for Serenade when he saw her the next morning.
