While some of these sound really terrible my seems just kinda petty. In a game against one of the bands big enemies we were performing and there were 4 minutes left on the half time. The other foot ball team comes out onto the field and started walking in between us and in front of us making a mockery of our performance. To get pay back one of snare player challenge a group of them to stand in from of the drum line. They did and one set later we took them all out with our visual. We step forward with the left leg and in one beat have to swing the other leg forward the bass drum's almost do a full 360. The 9 players in front of the drumline got knocked down and becous they were in the bands way they got trampled. To the got off the field about half way through our last song. As we got off the player started catcalling the color gaurd girls. One of which I have a very close relationship with. He did a vulgar obscene gesture to her in particualr. As I took of my drum to go finish some business bass drum 2 charged across the football field and nailed the guy in the gut winding him and leaving barely conscious. He was removed from the area but didn't get in trouble when the entire band vouched for him. He got let off with a warning. It was so incredibly stupid.

Wow, go bass drum two. smile

Dude he ran with the drum and nailed the guy in the gut. Seriously, even with the slightly awkward run is was awesome.

My last football game, last friday. Before we left for the game (at 1:30, when we were leaving for first play off away), three of our band members got sick. Barely out of my town, another girl was sick and had to go to the EMERGENCY ROOM for it. My band director was sick. We were running behind schedule. Two kids got sick at the game, RIGHT BEFORE HALF-TIME. Our team lost 21-28. Such a close game. My band director's tire on his truck blew out barely ten minutes away from the town. One of the buses we were in broke down, so we had to leave half the band THREE HOURS AWAY FROM HOME to wait for a new charter bus, which was AN HOUR AWAY FROM WHERE THE BUS BROKE DOWN. That bus did not get home until almost NINE IN THE MORNING. My bus didn't get home until four-thirty. And all our instruments were on the BROKEN DOWN BUS. The game was my very last football game for high school. I graduate this year.

This year my band is on a loosing streak. I think they have only won two games and this coming Friday is our last one. We lost our homecoming, it was a very sad night.... 28 to 10

In our band, it's the other way around. Colorguard is super protective over the drumline. Our field commander (in colorguard too) even said to the rest of our section "DO NOT hit anybody in the drumline. You can hit ANYBODY in the band except the drumline."

Lol I keep having worse and worse games to post here.

Our last game of the year, we lost in typical last-second, heartbreaking fashion. Which meant we weren't eligible for a bowl game. It also made it our coach's first losing season at our school. And our stadium is being renovated, so it was our last game there until 2012.

That would have all been bearable, if not for the fact that they had planned a postgame ceremony celebrating ~memories of the stadium~, so as we're all standing there shocked and sad and silent while the other team is wildly celebrating, they start playing Chariots of Fire over the speakers.

Most awkward moment everrrrr.
