She thought for a moment or two. "Would you like to go hunting outside of the tribe lands? Maybe see your sister some time later?" she asked.

"I have a sister," Dakari asked, tilting his head as he looked up at his momma. He was pretty sure the offer to go hunting with her outside of the tribe lands was something Sin wouldn't approve of, but Dakari didn't care too much about that. He had very little to do with anyone in the tribe, since there weren't any others of his age to play with.

Aegle nodded. "You have two. Your older sister with me and your younger sister who your biological dad took and has disappear with." she stated before standing up.

Biological? What the heck did that mean? Was it supposed to be a bad word? Maybe it was, if he had taken one of Dakari's sisters. His only response was to just look at his mother.

Aegle looked a little worried at Dakari since he didnt say anything. Was he coming down with something. "Are you ok? Feeling well?"She asked touching her nose to his forehead to see if he had a fever or something. She was totally kicking over into motherly mode.

Dakari shook his head, pushed himself up from the ground, and skittered back a few steps. His sky-blue eyes were frusterated when he looked at his mother.
"What do you want," he asked again, voice just as frusterated as his eyes. Dakari didn't like it when adults danced around a topic. He could always tell they were thinking about something, but they never just out and said it. He liked to know what was going on, what others were thinking, but his mom wasn't telling him what exactly was going through her mind. What was she planning on doing?

Aegle sighed. "I already told you I've come to check on you and be with you. And do something you would like to do." She stated plainly knowing she had already said this but obviously it didnt sink into his head yet.

Dakari looked up at his mom with a bit of disbelief. Really, did she now know? His frustration overtook him. "Nevermind," he said, tail swiping at the air behind him. He turned around and started walking, needing to be in motion.

Dakari paced in a small circle, paws pullings at the grass with the quick movements. He thumped down in a sitting position, back to his mother. "I'm fine," he said, voice loud and forced. "I'm fine," he said again, but this time it was quiet, more of a whisper, like he was talking to himself. His tiny shoulders slumped a bit.

Dakari didn't move, not even to turn his head. It was as though he was rooted to the spot. He didn't think he could ever explain it to anyone in a way that made sense, but it felt like he still had yet to find his mother.

Aegle came over to him and licked his cheek. She ran her paw down his back. "I want you to be happy. If you are happy here I will let you be here. If you aren't than I will take you with me. I love you and wants what is best for you. I want you happy and safe."She whispered in his little hear before rubbing her head against his.
