Guiding the Souls
Boy's Name: Somerled, means “summer traveler” in Scottish
Boy's Personality:
What drew Somerled to the pride was its peacefulness and servility to the Gods. While some prides recognized only a few or none at all, the Shrine Keepers believed or respected in them all. No god, or goddess for that matter, was too big or too small for him to worship. He feels each god (or goddess) had a reason and purpose to be fulfilled.

Somerled worked hard to develop an internal reckoning that helps him divine his route through the landscape. Every now and again it goes haywire; winds-up getting him, the guard, and visitors lost. He won’t tell anyone when he gets turned around and he doesn’t ask for directions. Typical male. XD Don’t worry thought, his senses will kick back in…. eventually.

For his own personal worship, the God of the Sun and Goddess of the Night are his chosen deities. Somerled felt they are responsible for the coloring of his coat. He paid his respect for this by saying a specific prayer to them at each sunrise and sunset. It was an elegant dance between the two he believes; one must relinquish to the other at the specified times. He was aware the dance will continue without his prayers, but showed his devotion by saying them anyhow.

In front of the visitors Somerled attempted his best to appear tough and daunting. He spoke gruffly and tried to keep them in line. Wouldn’t want to accidentally step on some god’s or goddess’ shrine now would you? That’d be bad joo-joo there. This lion is actually a huge softie. He doesn’t like arguments and avoided fighting if at all possible. Preferring to solve problems with reason and words than tooth and claw. The one thing he won’t tolerate was badmouthing the Gods. That is the surest way to bring the wrath of Somerled down upon your head.

A special thrill courses down his paws when there are kids in the group. It filled his heart with warmth to see such young lives learning to worship the Gods. Some day he’d love cubs of his own to teach in the way of the Gods. Somerled found he has no problems getting along with any specie he encountered.

Everybody has one or two quirks. Somerled’s is his enjoyment of water. He doesn’t mind bathing and playing in water. Bath time usually involves a large amount of rolling and splashing. Beware when he comes out though. Everything nearby will receive a good soaking when he shakes out his coat.

Shift the Earth
Lion's Name: Mungo (Welsh for "gentle")
Personality: Mungo is best described as a gentle giant. He is quite large for a lion, larger than many of the others in the pride. He uses this to his advantage as it makes him ideal to be a shifter. He takes great pride in his task and thoroughly enjoys moving the large stones and helping to lay the foundations for the great shrines. Despite his impressive size and strength, Mungo has the aggressiveness of a newborn cub, except when it comes to rocks. He is very slow to anger and is incredibly patient. He enjoys acting as a surrogate uncle to any of the cubs in the pride and likes nothing more than to lay still and be the climbing mountain of the day for the young members of the pride. Mungo enjoys teaching them about things and, if he isn't working, will volunteer to watch young cubs if the parents are needed at their tasks.
Hobbies: When not playing with the cubs or moving rocks, Mungo enjoys collecting stories. Simple or complex, Mungo will go from pride member to pride member and ask them for any stories they might know to add to his growing collection. He then practices them in case any bored cub happens to approach and ask him for a story.

Keeper of Somewhere

Girl's Name: Aiyana: Native American meaning “Ever Blooming”

Girl's Assignment Location: Valetudo'sero- Herb Lore

Why does she want to be there?:

Spring was always a treat for the young lioness. The air always smelled sweetest as the red disa orchids came into bloom. The flowers were more concentrated within the mountainous areas, and Aiyana loved to surround herself with the many blossoms. This was only but one of the infinite reasons that she so loved to tend for the Shrine.

Her task was never done- for in caring of the stones she was paying homage to the goddess Valetudo'sero. Every step, every carving in the holy stones had to be perfect. Aiyana had to be sure that nothing was untouched by her meticulous paws. Everything must be in order, for she must please the goddess. This was her devotion.

Over the course of Aiyana’s study of Valetudo'sero she retained the knowledge of every plant, flower, and herb. She felt as though her spirit was entrusted with this awareness by the ancient goddess herself. This is why Aiyana bowed her head in worship after she had finished her daily duties. She was constant in keeping the Shrine. Her heart and soul painstakingly poured itself out among that noble and holy ground.

Aiyana’s seeds of effort never went unnoticed, for all who entered the Shrine could see how lovingly and faithfully it had been attended to. Flowers would cascade in many different arrays along the sacred stones. An altar would be set up in the midst of nature’s true beauty, displaying an assortment of herbs and plant life. It was a sight to behold. Her wish was for others to see the faith through her eyes, and in this responsibility she conveyed it well. The Shrine of Valetudo'sero, the ancient goddess of Herb Lore, was not just a mere shrine. It had become a sanctuary.

Aiyana carried herself with pride and dignity. She kept an honorable aura about her, and it would influence others around her. She took great care in handling each offering, treating it as if it were a babe being handed to its mother for the first time.

In this, Aiyana is a true Shrine Keeper.

Hunting for All
Blue WD's Name: Masanori [['Model of Justice' in Japanese.]]
Blue WD's Owner: ~Spazzy_the_Wolfie~

Female WD's Name: Aimi [[From Japanese (ai) "love, affection" and (mi) "beautiful".]]
Female WD's Owner: lisais-fire619

Black WD's Name: Ayame [['Iris' in Japanese.]]
Black WD's Owner: Yushika

Quick personality snippets:
Masanori: He's gonna be a pretty traditional dude, bringing Aimi gifts and stuff when he's trying to get her to notice him more. He's also pretty innocent, to the point where, if he sees something bad or naughty happening, he'll be all like: '..T-that's wrong.. THAT'S WRONG.' He's your typical younger brother figure, always asking questions out of curiosity and tagging along to see what kind of thing you'll be doing that day, but keeping to the sidelines if told.

Aimi: She'll be a loving, playful female. Extremely flirty as well when it comes to males, especially around a certain blue Wild Dog. Her brother means more to her than anything. But Masanori is pretty close!

Ayame: He'll have some issues, he's shy and keeps to himself, but gets jealous and feels useless, like he can't do anything right. He is protective of Aimi because she loves him for who he is, so he is not to accepting of Masanori at first. He adores his sister and will let nothing hurt her.

Backstory for the group:

Aimi and Ayame are siblings, believe it or not! Their mother's coloring was sort of split between the two, leaving Aimi with her red and whites and Ayame with her grays, but Aimi looks like their dear mother more than either of them, because of her similar markings.

So wait, where does the blue boy come in, you may ask? Masanori has always been in the two's life, since all of them were born into a small pack, but hadn't really been involved with both siblings until a certain incident occurred that effected them all.

- - - -

The trio were born into a small pack of canines, as said above. Ayame and Aimi only had their mother around, but it didn't matter to the two. She was their world! They didn't need a father. Masanori was a fellow pack member, but born to a larger family in the pack, but because of this, was often lonely because of how many siblings he had. Masanori and Aimi became fast friends when they met one day as pups, Masanori becoming fond of this other pup. He'd never really gotten this much attention before! Ayame was introduced to Masanori a few times, but never really got to know him that well until one certain event changed their lives.

One late night, when the three had just finished a small kill from one of their first hunts, they heard noises. Bad noises. Yelping, whines, and foreign ones they had never heard. Their kill forgotten, the three rushed home.. or, what had been their home. Everything was a mess: the dens ravaged, their fellow pack members - dead - littering the ground, scattered paw prints every which way, and blood splatter abound. Some larger felines (Lions, leopard, they could not tell!) had come and taken out the pack, reasons unknown. Whomever had been left had scattered by now, leaving the three alone and on their own.

The trio of young dogs mourned their dead heavily, blaming not the killers, but thinking of the situation like this: the related gods to the event: the god of death, kills, disasters, etc. are held somewhat responsible for it all, since the gods have power over everything. They don't hate the 'bad' gods, but they do have a dislike for them, but not to the point where it effects their trust in them. They trust the god of death not to take them too soon, trust the god of disasters not to bring havoc to their home, etc. The 'good' gods are thanked whenever possible, for keeping them alive all this time. But the trio doesn't really like to talk about the 'bad' gods unless it's required, because of their pack's slaughtering. :C

Having nothing left in their destroyed home, they left. Their newly developed hunting kept them alive. They kept traveling and traveling.. and traveling. Until they heard word of a group, Ulili-Mlindaji, the shrine keepers. This group, they apparently... cared for shrines for the gods? This was something of interest to the three. With nothing to lose, they followed rumors of the group, eventually reaching the shrine keepers and joining their ranks as hunters.

- - - -

Ayame and Aimi love each other like no other due to this, and can usually be found giving affection to each other, whether it be a lick on the face or a nuzzle. Ayame is the oldest of the group, just a few minutes elder of Aimi, and as such, sort of gathers the votes when it comes to what the group wants to do, then decides what's best for the group with that information in mind. Ayame easily grows jealous of others if they're the ones giving Aimi affection, even if it's an innocent bump of the nose in greeting. She's HIS sister, not theirs. She's the only family he has left. ;n;

Masanori has been Aimi's best friend since childhood, but as the trio traveled, has grown to like her. Like like her. This has not gone unnoticed by Ayame, and he has slowly been taking on a more overprotective role when Masanori and his sister are together.

[[There won't be any sad endings for this group, though! Their problems will be resolved eventually, especially the starting conflict between Masanori and Ayame. Masanori and Aimi will slowly become a couple, the two boys will become friends, and the trio's bond will be stronger than ever. C:]]
