Only by a little bit? Wow! She'd never met siblings who were so close in age! But how close was a little bit? "That's neat. What's his name? Is he nice like you?" Did he treat her well? Was he a good brother? He didn't treat her like her own sister had before, right? Enyo had sisters, and Quint had mentioned a brother but...not in a very kind light. More in the 'I hate him' kind of way. She wondered how they were doing.

She looked over to Seidh with a bright smile, still making the little turtle dance. She looked happy! Yay! She was so glad, this girl was quite nice! She'd had less than pleasant encounters anytime she went near water...though that last one wasn't so ba--no! It was awful! Just awful! So awful she never wanted to think about it again! Never ever..never. At her question Tyyne's ears perked again and she looked down at the water. It was quite cold, and turtles needed to be kept warm, right?

"I think soooo...they like to lay in the sun and be warm, and since the water's cold they might be somewhere where it's warmer." Where did turtles go when it got cold though? She'd never thought about that before! Then again this was her first Autumn, Tyyne was used to the warmer weather. She wasn't sure how to feel about the coming Winter when snow would blanket all her pretty flowers. "Maybe you can find them laying on logs and stuff when it's bright and sunny!" Tyyne suggested with a hopeful smile, putting the turtle back safely in the water and watching as it darted away as fast as its little legs could get it. Swim awaaaay!

His name is Fremere.” Seidh replied. “He is very nice…he is very, very, very friendly.” The small girl couldn’t stress that enough it seemed. “He likes to write letters to his friends.” She also informed, happening to leave out that they were love letters.

As Tyyne started to answer her question, the girl looked up to her and listened attentively. As Tyyne was older than her that meant her answer had to be very good, right? She nodded her head a bit as Tyyne reasoned out what the turtles were probably doing. Hey, that made good sense to her! She supposed if she was a turtle she’d want to be out in nice sunny weather too. “Mother says there will be more turtles when it’s sunny and warm again…when the season Spring and Summer come…a lot of flowers too…”

The small girl turned her attention back done to the water, watching a few small fish darted by.

“…I haven’t seen Spring or Summer…I can’t wait to see it.”

Wow..he must have been really friendly if Seidh was making a point to say just how friendly he was! Though Tyyne couldn't help but feel it was somehow a bad thing? She said 'very' so many times...was he too friendly? That's just silly! There was no such thing as being too friendly! Right...? Tyyne made a curious little noise about the letters, watching the water for any signs of turtles. After that last one she didn't see any...just curious little schools of tiny fish swimming and darting around their legs. It was safe to say they probably wouldn't be finding anymore turtles today. She looked up and nodded in agreement to her mother's explanation, smiling a bit until the flowers were mentioned; Tyyne really perked up now, flowers were something Tyyne could go on about for hours.

Seriously, if you didn't stop her she'd be able to talk about them for hours.

"I've never seen Autumn or Winter!" She chirped, giggling. They had something in common! Sort of. Just..opposites! Tyyne was honestly dreading the new seasons, they meant the flowers would be dying...and she was so used to the warmer weather. She shivered a bit, picking at her wet pond-smelling-and-not-smelling-like-him-anymore hoodie. "I can show you flowers right now if you like! It's the least I can do for you teaching me your game~."

Oh it Tyyne only knew, and maybe she would, one day.

Seidh watched more schools of tiny fish dart by their legs, especially watching how they darted around four of the deer girl’s legs. She looked back up at Tyyne as the girl started to talk and gave a small nod of her head. “Mother says it will be a while until winter…where it will be white and snow.” She was very curious to see this snow, but she couldn’t wait to see flowers that weren’t in flower shops too. As Tyyne spoke up once more, Seidh startled a bit. She could show her flowers…?

“…You can…? Where…how?”

"And all the flowers will be gone until Spring. My garden is starting to die as it is." Tyyne sighed mournfully at the memory, frowning a little. Tyyne didn't like the sound of what winter was like. She was doing her best to keep them alive as long as she could! But maybe she'd have to resort to convincing Xai to let her have a small garden in her room. She'd promise to keep it clean! Honest! When Seidh looked a bit startled she felt a little bad, putting a hand on her chest and smiling apologetically to the girl. Maybe she was a little too excited.

Oh! But...yeah! She could show her flowers! Tyyne looked around for a moment before pointing to where Seidh had left her shoes on the bank, already beginning to make her way over there. "I can! Right over here. Do you have a favorite flower?" She asked happily as she more than readily climbed out of the water. It was cold. And now she could feel the even colder air against her furry wet legs. Oh dear, that wouldn't be good...maybe she'd...go see someone who could keep her warm. No! Nonono. Heh. She'd...she'd just go home and dry off and sit with a warm blanket. Yes. That...that would do...

Tyyne sat down on the grass when she was finally out of the water, unrolling the sleeves of her hoodie to see if she could wring any water out of them while she waited patiently for Seidh to join her. Darn, she kind of liked this hoodie too.

The small girl nodded her head a bit sympathetically at Tyyne’s dilemma. Yep, that’s what her mother said; that all the flowers would go away for now but that they would be back around. Seidh was happy for flower shops at least she could still see real flowers even if they weren’t coming from the ground.

The girl’s face fell into a bit of an excited and curious expression as she followed after the deer girl, dropping the rest of the cheerios from her pocket into the water before stepping out of it. The small girl shook her feet and legs off to get the water droplets off before she sat down next to Tyyne and pulled her shoes back on and then slipped her scarf on over her head. Did she have a favorite? Of course she did!

Irises…the blue purple ones…”

Hmmm..yes! She could do those! Tyyne smiled and rubbed her hands together, blowing against them to warm them up; this didn't help with the process or anything other than keeping her fingers from going totally numb, because they were really cold after being in the water. She'd never done this in the cold before but Tyyne had a feeling if she couldn't feel her hands she couldn't grow these flowers for Seidh. When the feeling in them returning she sighed with relief, clenching and relaxing her fists before placing one of them on the ground. Geeze! The ground was cold too! She'd have to pluck these flowers for Seidh after this so they didn't just freeze to death.

Tyyne soon lifted her hand, and along with it rose a sprouting, growing then blooming iris. It resembled a flower growing in fast forward, and she hummed happily as she repeated this process twice more, growing three pretty blueish purple irises for Seidh. When she was done she beamed proudly and looked to the girl for her reaction, hoping it would be one of approval. They were flowers she liked! And she wanted to see them! So she did good, right? "Here you go! Would you like me to grow more?" Tyyne asked, dragging her finger along the ground for her own amusement. She loved doing this, this time growing a trail of multicolored posies. Hehe! She loved her flowers so much. She really dreaded these new seasons.

Seidh had moved into a crouched position, resting her hands on her knees as she leaned forward a bit, as if trying to get closer to the action when Tyyne put her hands on the ground. She honestly had no idea what to expect, she hadn’t seen normal flowers be grown before, much less see someone who could do it all on their own. As the deer girl started to lift her hand and the start of a flower sprout appeared, the small girl’s mouth parted in incredible awe. That was amazing!

Soon enough there was three of them and the small girl just didn’t know what to do with herself. Once they were ‘fully grown’ she reached out to gently touch each and every one of them and leaned forward more to smell their scent. So that’s what grown flowers looked like! “…N…no…this is wonderful…” She replied softly in awe. Three was good enough for her!

Tyyne quietly watched Seidh, giggling softly at the look her flowers were being given. She liked them! Yay! She was hoping she would! As long as three was enough then Tyyne would leave it at that, letting Seidh enjoy her flowers and even compliment them. She felt a swell of pride when told they were wonderful, giggling and lightly brushing a finger against an iris's petals. "We can find a way to cut them neatly so you can keep them, if you like! I'd hate to just leave these here all alone." Tyyne didn't like to abandon her flowers, to leave them to wither and die alone and unloved. To her all these flowers had emotions and souls, and they needed to be loved and cared for be it by herself or by someone else who could love them in her place.

"I hope I can still grow flowers later, I'm worried if the ground will get too cold for them to grow." Even Tyyne's magic wasn't all powerful. The ground had to be suitable for growth for her to grow anything! She pouted a little before growing one more iris to make it an even four just because she could. Hmmm...but they had nothing to cut them with! Darn.

Seidh glanced up from the lovely flowers at Tyyne’s words, offering, “I can just pluck them.” That seemed more reasonable than cutting them. Where would they find something sharp anyways? Just pulling them was the smarter way to go to the small girl and a hand reached out to the base of one of the flowers where she pinched her small fingers around the stem and then pulled, looking a bit delighted as it came from the ground rather nicely.

At the deer girl’s worries, the small girl looked thoughtful for a long moment before offering, “Pots? With dirt in them?” That way they could be in the house too and safe from the frozen ground.

W-well okay...she just wanted to cut them so it'd be nice and clean at the end but if she wanted to pluck then...she'd just look away. For some reason Tyyne just couldn't stand to see her flowers plucked or picked, to be torn from the ground so brutally; at least with cutting they had some dignity...or something. If plants could talk Tyyne was very sure they'd be shrieking in agony every time someone just plucked them from the ground! She looked away as nonchalantly as she could when she saw Seidh's fingers pinch the end of the flower stem, humming to herself and waiting a few moments to be sure it was safe before she turned her gaze back to Seidh.

Well, yes. Pots would do just fine! It was the dirt that was the issue. It made Xai twitchy when Tyyne had the one from Evari, because her house was essentially a giant computer and apparently computers and dirt didn't mesh well. Tyyne didn't really understand, she wasn't really into technology...at all. "Yes, there is that. I just worry my momma won't like the dirt in the house even if it's in the pot. In case it spills or something..." She pursed her lips a moment and tilted her head. What could she do? There had to be some kind of alternative, a middle ground, a compromise...there had to be something. Tyyne smiled again. "I'll figure something out, I'm sure. Does your mother have any flowers or anything?" Surely not all mothers were like her own?

Seidh didn’t seem to noticed Tyyne’s discomfort as she plucked the flowers out of the ground since she was focused on the task. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to cut them, but honestly, where would they find something sharp out there? Her mother also wouldn’t let her use anything sharp unless it was kid friendly scissors. Once Seidh was done, she cradled the flowers in her arms carefully, still quite very delighted and thankful to be having them.

But flowers need dirt…” Seidh uttered softly, her brow furrowing in thought, “As long as you’re very careful?” She questioned hopefully before she was asked a question. “Oh…yes, mother has a garden that goes all around our house…but there are no flowers right now because it’s too cold…mother says they will be back in Spring though…” She trailed off before her head popped back up. Oh, her mother, that’s right!

“…I have to go now…” Seidh murmured a bit sadly, she was enjoying her time with the deer girl! “Mother was picking up some things at the store and I came here to play…she said to come back in a bit…” The girl stood now, still carefully holding onto the precious flowers. “…I will see you soon?”

"Oh, yes. They most certainly do! But my momma's house is...different. Dirt could...uh...make it stop working?" If that made any sense. But Tyyne was a very careful girl, as long as she promised not to get dirt everywhere maybe Xai would be a little more agreeable to the idea? It was worth a shot! Her mother's garden sounded just lovely! Or it would if it had flowers but either way a garden that went all the way around? That sounded great! Tyyne's was only the entire back yard, but perhaps she could expand it to the front as well? To let everyone see how pretty their house could be? That sounded like an idea worth trying come Spring! "Mhm! The flowers will all be back in the Spring. There're some that grow during Winter, I'm just not sure which ones yet..." But when she knew she was definitely going to be growing them! There was no way she could go months not growing anything outside, it already tore at her heart enough just seeing the plants outside begin to wither.

Seidh perked up like she was just reminded of something, saying she had to leave. Oooh that made sense, Tyyne would had for Seidh's mother to worry. Her ears flicked and she looked around, seeing she really had no reason to stay either (And why would she? It's not like she would ever willingly go to water expecting anything! Never!), and plus her hoodie and her fur was beginning to get cold so she could use a good warming up. "Well that's alright, I understand. Would you like me to walk you back or will you be okay on your own?" She wasn't an itty bitty toddler, but Tyyne still found herself wanting to make sure the younger girl would make it back safely to her mother.

Seidh didn’t exactly understand what the Deer girl meant, but she still nodded her head in understanding for it was probably best to let it be at that. Hopefully the girl would be careful so that the house would keep working! “Oh…! There are flowers that grow in the winter?” The girl seemed a bit amazed as she thought about it. “I will have to ask my mother about those…”

The small girl trailed off as she waited for Tyyne’s response to her statement and seemed a bit relieved when the Deer girl seemed to be understanding. She’d hate for her to look upset or something! She shook her head at the girl’s offer and turned and pointed to a store what was within view of the park. “I just need to go there…” She paused for a moment, looking down at the flowers before looking back at Tyyne. “It was nice to meet you…thank you for the flowers…!...Go have some hot chocolate, okay?” She smiled a bit as she waved with a free hand and then turned and took off to go meet up with her mother, ready to tell her all about the new friend she made and where she got the flowers from.

Tyyne smiled and nodded. Yes, asking her mother would be a good idea since Tyyne didn't know yet herself. She knew there was one that was big and red, she just didn't know its name. She'd have to find out as soon as she got home! Tyyne's gaze did follow Seidh's direction though as she pointed to where she needed to be, making a small noise at that. Oh, alright. Since she could see the store she'd just watch her until she was safely inside, then Tyyne would be able to go home without fretting. "You're very welcome! Alright, I'll do that. And you be good as well, alright?" She chirped, smiling at Seidh. She waved to the girl as she left and watched her walk away to the store, waiting until she was either joined by her mother or inside the shop before she turned and headed back toward her own home.
