When Mikayla saw the boy smile at Her she rolled her eyes. She looked around for something to do. She got up and went to get a drink.

Alex walked in after Derek, already regretting coming here.
He may look fourteen but he was a good 100 years old and in those 100-something years he'd never(not even when he was alive) felt the need to dance. Or go to a club at all for that matter.
But between his best friend new room mates and...friend-who-just-so-happened-to-be-a-girl (translation Derek James Poppy and Jez) it had been decided that living as long as Alex had without going to a club was a crime that must be rectified as soon as possible and (as it usually was when Derek or Jez were involved) he'd had no choice but to go along.
He rolled his eyes when Derek smiled at the girl in the corner.
"Derek, girlfriend, home, kill" he said under his breath. Making the message as simple and clear as possible.
"I don't know that this was such a good idea, I don't fit here" he whispered to Derek as they approached their group.
Seeing Jez dancing with the other vampire girl(poppy he remembered vaguely) Alex went quiet. Glad for once to be dead (as vampires could not blush)
Dancing to the beat eyes closed, red hair flowing around her.
Jez look wild, and incredibly...incredible.

Derek shrugged when he saw the girl wasn't all that interested. He was just looking to have a good time. Talk, have some drinks. It's not like he was looking to cheat or anything.
Ah well, he thought, maybe she'll come around later.
He smirked at Alex who was staring blankly at Jez.
"You were sayin?" he asked. Jez was younger than him-15 years old while Derek was 19 but he had to admit, Alex had every reason to stare.
"Told ya a rave was a great idea"
He glanced around taking in everyone in the club. Trying to figure out who'd make good company and who he should stay away from.

Limi stared at some of the newcomers who cockily strutted around like they were hot stuff. She rolled her eyes. People these days... she thought as she mentally face palmed herself.

Mikayla saw Derek again. She looked down reading his thoughts. "A girlfriend back home huh?" she said to herself.
Quartney went up behind Mikayla, "Whatcha doing." she said. "Spying aren't ya."

April was smiling. These were other vampires. She was glad to have other company that were like her. She looked at the guy that had just walked in and smirked. She'd met that kind before. He was the type that was always thinking that the girls would fall all over him. Looked like someone fun to mess with. She twirled around the dance floor, and then went to the side of the room and watched the people in the middle of the room. She had her arm around a handsom young man that looked tasty. She silently drank from his neck, but not so much to hurt him. She then erased his mind of what she had done afterward. She put her hand over the bite and healed it. She hated hurting humans, but she had to. She would die if she didn't.

Limi could smell blood and she wrinkled her muzzle in disgust. They stole the wolf's fang without permission, and then use it against humans. It was sick. She snarled silently before making her way back over to her dark corner table, watching curiously.

James smiled at Derek and smirked when he noticed how annoyed Blaise looked-Derek was exactly the kind of guy Blaise liked to crush. She hated that she had to make an exception.
"Don't know about that" he said over the music never taking his eyes off Poppy.
He walked away from Blaise and stood by Derek and Alex glad that he wasn't the only guy there anymore.
He didn't really get along with Blaise and Jez was more of Poppy's friend than his.
"It's definitely popular" he said glancing around at all the groups of students. A dance club was apparently been on the student body's wish list for quite some time.The song finished and Poppy raced over to James' side. They were soulmates and were always together.
"You know you're going to dance Jamie" she said in a voice that was teasing but left no room for argument. she then smiled at both Derek and Alex.
"Hey Derek," she said knowing Alex was distracted "finally found your place in this school?"

Derek nodded at James and smiled at Poppy. She was fun to have around. She and James were basically attached at the head so he could be friends with her and talk to her without any...er, dangers.
"This is definitely my kind of school" he said, downing his drink. He felt someone reading his mind and gave James a look.
Good thing of being a human with vampire friends? You figured out how to defend yourself from most things other humans didn't even know about.
Bad thing? You were still, at the end of the day human. and a bit defenseless to certain attacks.
The presence didn't feel threatening though so he shrugged it off.
If it got too bad James Poppy and Jez would have his back.
James and Poppy were his friends.
Jez...well she cared about Alex which meant she pretty much had to care about him too.
Speaking of which..
"here comes your girlfriend Al" he said with a smirk that James also shared.

Alex-who had managed to get a hold of himself by reciting sword forms in his head. Nearly jumped out of his trench coat and glared at Derek annoyingly.
"She is NOT my girlfriend" he hissed at the -seemingly- older boy.

 Seeing the group that had formed while she danced Jez raced over to the boys. Derek was human and usually Jez wouldn't care for vermin.
But he was Alex's best friend and he actually knew as much about motorcycles as she did-she had to give him credit on that one. he was a pretty cool human. Most likely the only one.
Out of the corner of her eye she noticed a girl feeding. Jez noticed she followed the usual protocol, plus she actually healed him.
Interesting.
"Hey Alexander' she said with a smirk that was actually a smile. "Got some bunny in you?"
Unlike her and her friends Alex barely ever fed-and when he did it was animal blood. This made it impossible for him to posses any powers other than the basic enhanced senses and stamina.
It also made it very possible for Jez to bug him about it.

April walked up to the group curiously. "You all are vampires right? Except for one human. Are you all attending the school. I've never seen so many vampires in one place before." she said. Where she grew up she was the only vampire.

"Funny, Jezebel" Alex said dryly. "How about you?" he asked without missing a beat "Hunt anyone lately?"
Alex glanced around worriedly, Derek was really a good guy. (he was his best friend) but he tended to rub people the wrong way. Because to those who didn't know him he came off as...well, a bit of a prat.
Derek had always defended Alex for humans, and even thought Alex would be more than willing to return the favor he hoped the situation wouldn't arise where he had to.

XxSplatter-ShatterxX April walked up to the group curiously. "You all are vampires right? Except for one human. Are you all attending the school. I've never seen so many vampires in one place before." she said. Where she grew up she was the only vampire. 
"I'm NOT dancing Poppy" he said thought he was laughing lightly and it was obvious he'd end up giving in.
He then turned to the girl.
"Yeah, we're all vampires" he said with a smile. He could tell the girl wasn't a threat to them. "Except for 2. Derek who you already know" at this Derek looked up and smiled his usual smile before going back to his drink.
"And Blaise who is a witch and our cousin-er...that's a long story thought if you want to know I guess I can tell you"
Blaise barely glanced up from her drink. She wasn't really the social type.. James gave the girl an apologetic smile and continued.
"It is odd to find so many of us unless you know where to look." James added not sure if the girl knew what he meant.
"I was traveling with Poppy-that''s my mate" at this he raised his hand which held Poppy's and pulled her close.
Poppy smiled at the girl in a friendly manner.
"Nice to meet you" she said, green eyes flashing. She was a witch as well as a vampire.
James continued "And we came to the academy. We found a room to share with Derek and Alex" he said resuming the tale "along with Alex. That's the short one over there" he said pointing to who looked like the youngest in the group. then to the red headed girl "That's Jez." he said finally finishing introducing everyone.
"Don't take it personally if they don't say hi for a while" he added glancing at the two who kept bantering "They're kinda like that around each other"]

"Nice to meet you all. I'm April, and don't worry about Jez and um...Alex. Right? I'm used to that. It's cool that you all came here. I'm not the only vampire anymore." she said slyly.
