By now, the girls had made it into the hall, and were watching Arkena and Redtail. They glanced at each other.

Arkena stops his pace and rolls his eyes before turning back to the teacher. "Why do you care?... bumping into a student and then using powers against him while he's just trying to be on his own way?... how about you just remove the barrier and go on your way before you get fired?" He asks, shaking his head slightly.

((Heads-up: Redtail is actually abrand new teacher. This is his first year at the school.)) ~~Redtail Rathan~~ "Do not fear Death. Death is always at our side. When we show fear, it jumps at us faster than light. But, if we do not show fear, it casts its eye upon us gently and then guides us into infinity..." Redtail gave the kid a mysterious half smile.
"I highly doubt that. After all, I could simply claim that you tried to extort something from me because you weren't paying attention to where you were going and slammed into me, and your book disintegrated. If you have the power to make it disappear, then surely you have the power to put it back together again."
Redtail dropped the barrier.
"I owe you nothing. Be careful of who you threaten. The teachers of the school are many times more powerful than you are."
As he spoke his last sentance, there was a split second flicker of flame where his eyes should be, hidden in the shadow of his hood.
"Have a nice day."

Arkena rolls his eyes. "Right, might as well claim that you had a halo over your head as you regret to mention the fact you used powers on a student." He said before shaking his head. "... and be careful who you bump into, for this student that you bumped into has upstaged even some of the advanced teachers... and is the top of the student body." He closes his eyes and shakes his head at the teacher's minor use of showing power. He draws out and orb, which was empty as he drew it out, but then shinned multiple colors in his palms and seemed like it would explode with energy or power, but then tosses it into the teachers hand and the orb looses all of it's shine. "You owe me." He repeats as he continues his walk down the hall, a few student 'friends' then gathering about him to walk with him.

((Hmm...Redtail's profile wasn't posted. Damn. If it was, you'd get an idea of just how powerful he is, and why Arkena is not going to upstage him in any subject, especially Elemental Magic and Melee Combat. I'll have to keep my eye on that one. He's in the need for a good humbling. And it seems I'll be the one giving it to him...
He turned to continue down the hall when he spotted the two girl students.
"Why, hello there."

Cherry stammered out a hello and hid behind her sister. "Hello, Sir. Why were you and that guy fighting, if you dont mind me asking?" Mandy asked before putting an arm around her sister in a protective and comforting gesture.

"Please don't call me Sir. I've always hated that title. Call me Rathan. Tis what most people call me."
He didn't bother explaining that most people add the word "Lord" before Rathan.
"And I we weren't fighting. T'would be a waste of time. I was simply getting a feel for him. He seems to be a notable figure around here. I was warned not to get on his bad side. I have yet to see why that is, but tis fine. And you two are?"

Arkena glances at one of the students following him and nods before he walks one way down the hall and the group advance away. He crosses his arms as he slowly walks down the hall, a few students whispering as he passes. He makes his way to a classroom door, where he enters the empty room. He closes and shocks the doorknob to bust it locked, he also waves his hand over the glass of the door, darkening it so that none peered into the room. He then turns around to the classroom. "... this is it." He conforms in thought to himself before pointing to a desk and shooting a beam of fire from its tip. He points around the room, burning random items before closing his hand to form a fist which smoked. He waves his hand to cool it down before raising his other hand to blow around flammable items, spreading the fire around the room. He chuckles lightly before crossing his arms and looking about the room. "There... a small warning." He thought before closing his eyes to ghostly disintegrate, lightly sparkling, and reform outside of the room, leaving no trace of evidence he's been inside the room. He didn't smell of smoke or appeared to have even been near any fire. He chuckles before continuing down the hall, clear the name over the door being 'Rathan'.

"Im Mandy, and this is my sister, Cherry." Mandy studied him carefully, "Rathan? Hmm, were have I heard that name before?" She looked to Cherry who just shrugged. "Never mind. Your a teacher here right?"

Arkena glances around before swiftly teleporting and replaces himself with a 'smart illusion', sort of like a ghostly clone of himself that lacks the ability to do physical damage and'll send information to Arkena's brain, so that he basically controls it without trying to. It walks down the hall, arms crossed, casually like he would.
Arkena reappears at the Life Fountain, where his 'friends' were as well. He sits down, legs crossed, as so do they to form a circle around the fountain itself. They all look down to hide their face in a shadow as they all begin to mutter chants.
