Xavier smiled, in a way he hadn't since before his rebirth, as he watched Abla enjoy the fruit. "They only grow after the rainy season usually... But I think the creek running through here is helping these ones fruit all year round." He looked up at the trees as well as around. There were signs that a troop of baboons had been through recently, but perhaps the sight of large lions had scared them away.
Finishing his fruit, Yutu returned to his master's side, looking up at the lioness. "Perhaps you SHOULD have a smaller companion animal, then you wouldn't miss out on anything!" Including rocks in her path... When the rocks smelled like the dirt, it was hard to avoid them, after all.

Abla paused for a moment taking a second to think about it the a smile grew on her face. "Year round?" She asked curiously, titling her head up as if she was looking up above her. Before lowering her head back down to where it was before. A smile grew on her lips. "I'll remember where we are because I'd love to come back and get some occasionally.She chuckled again before looking at the rabbit. "Maybe." She chuckled again as she thought about it. She did enjoy company a good amount of the time however she wasn't really a big fan of being dependant on some one else. It wasn't something that she enjoyed doing.

"Well, maybe..." Xavier looked at the trees again, then let out a light sigh. "I just wish there were more of these..." He licked his lips, then went up to Abla. "Maybe we should go... I think the baboons who were here before might want food, too." This was a prime place to eat, after all. Especially if your diet had more than just meat in it, and you wanted a juicy fruit.
The hare drooped a bit, ears folding back. "B-baboons...?" The monkeys seemed none-too-friendly to the hare, what with them wanting to eat him and all. Climbing up to Xavier's back, he did his best to hide, looking around. Predatory creatures that were inclined to eat him made him nervous.

Abla smiled before nodding in agreement to the other lion. "Sounds like a plan. Unhappy baboons are never fun." She chuckled quietly before pushing herself up on to her feet before standing beside Xavier. "Lead the way." She said quietly with a laugh.

The male nodded, heading out of the grove. As he moved his long ears back, he could just hear the baboons, chattering amongst themselves about the strange lion-things in 'their' grove. He was right, they scared them.. "And now they can have their grove back. Or... They think it belongs to them..."
When Yutu looked back, he saw the baboons, looking less than happy. He sank down a bit, doing his best to hide in the male god's mane, ears flat back against him. Life could be no fun if you were small and tasty, but it was safer around gods.

Abla looked in the direction of the male and arched a brow, not really sure of what to say that was until he could hear the sounds of the baboons. She made a face, she hated the sound of them chattering, to her it was really annoying. She made a small face before chuckling and agreeing with them. "Lets just get out of here." She nudged him before she started to walk some. This company was some of the best kind of company.
