The small black and green doe yipped in joy, then circled the buck and nudged him in the correct direction. "This way, this way! You'll like Glowing, she's nice. She's really good at catching fish, too, but sometimes she gets mad at me and makes me catch my own." Poison happily babbled. She was going on another adventure! She hadn't had a really good one since Peeper and Hue had gone their own ways. Sometimes she wondered where they had gone, but she figured they were okay.
"So, so, what do you think you're looking for? Do you get any feelings when you think about it? Well, I only get this vague feeling about the size, and that's not much, but it does mean I'm not looking for a certain tree or a bush or something. And sometimes I feel like it moves around a lot." She frowned a bit, confused. "I think it really does move around a lot. So it must be something that can move, or someone's moving it."
She led the taller Blooming Heat through a tangle of mangrove roots. "See, here's the thorny pond. Be careful, there are thorns just under the water, and they hurt when they get stuck in your tongue." It was an embarrassing memory, having Glowing Gloam try to pull errant thorns from Poison's tongue after she'd gotten distracted while trying to catch a fish.
