Maria was about to reply when the lights went out. She sighed and said, "I'll go get some candles and flashlights." she waited a minute so her eyes adjusted to the darkness and headed towards the kitchen, depending on her sense of touch. She ran her hand along the wall ahead of her and walked down the stairs.

 Claudia was a bit frightened though she was hiding it.Selene thought it would be at least a little bit of excitement if something at least happened once in a while but didn't say a word. The twins looked at the maids and shook their heads. When the lights went out, both girls screamed and held each other close before giggling nervously and letting go of each other. ((please don't post ahead of me sad It's one thing I get annoyed with v.v))

(Same here. Don't worry, it was only a post or two : D)
Rose looked at the twins. "I'll be back, I have to use the bathroom." she said, and left the room. She felt her way through the mansion, to the bathroom on that floor. Rose entered it and used it, then washed her hands. A flash of lightening lit up the bathroom, and in the mirror she saw a man standing behind her, then it became dark and he vanished. She spun around, but saw no one. It was just her paranoid imagination, she decided, leaving the bathroom.

Maria found the few flashlights she could and grabbed few candles and a lighter. As soon as she walked back into the room and lit the candles, she saw Rose wasn't there with them. "Where did Rose go?" she looked around and thought for a second. "Are all of the doors and windows locked?"
(( Sorry D; I had to answer a lot of Pms before I got to role playing again And sorry for going ahead D; ))

Claudia stood up and started walking around. She couldn't just sit while the power was out. "She went to the bathroom. I have to go too." She spoke soft but audibly as she took one on the flashlights but wasn't going to the bathroom. She was making her way to her room.Selene frowned and looked at her twin. "Be careful. And yes, every door and window is locked; we checked them three times." She replied with a soft smile. "We can get our guns from our rooms if that would make you feel better," She offered calmly, their grandmother allowed them small ones as protection.((-huggles both- Forgiven^^))

"I'll go get them...I don't want you to be alone in the dark. Stay here" Maria pleaded, already heading back out of the door with a flashlight. She knew this house brick by brick, pipe by pipe. She knew where everything was.

Rose slowly walked down the hallway, feeling like she was being watched. Every flash or so she would see a shadow on the wall that wasn't hers, and she heard footsteps behind her. This was getting way too freaky, she thought, hurrying her steps.

Claudia had made it to thier rooms. She got her sister's and hers. It was a safety thing with her. She was making her way back through the shadows and decided to take the other set of stairs to the ground floor.Selene frowned. "You're leaving me alone either way though," She argued with the maid. "I'm not staying here while my sister's going to the...Hey, something tells me she's already going for the guns..." She pouted slightly.

(Mega freaky time twisted )
Rose heard what sounded like a gun being loaded. She spun around, seeing no one. But when she turned to keep walking, she found herself with a pistol pointed at the side of her head, an arm around her mouth to keep her from screaming. A voice whispered in her ear
"Hello there." The pistol clicked.
Rose whined, eyes wide. She tried to get away.
"Your the 30th kill today. You should be happy, I worked hard for that score."
Rose kicked her legs, being held off the ground a little bit, whining louder.

Claudia was scared as she walked out of the room and cocked the hammer of her gun. Seeing two dark figures before she got to the stairs and stopped. "R-rose?" She called out blindly in a soft but audible voice as she remembered Rose had been to the bathroom.Selene smiled softly and was wondering what was taking Claudia and Rose so long. "Do you think we can go down to the kitchen for a bit?" She inquired calmly as she took the cups and empty plate. There wasa set of stairs right next to them.
