Cherry scurried down the stairs trying to stop the bleeding. She hadnt had blood in awhile so she was cut easy. SHe gave out soft whimpers dropping to the floor not being able to go any further.

It hadn't been that long of a walk from the dormitories. Pushing the cart ahead of himself now, Su'zou crept along with hardly making a sound and kept his head cocked to one side, listening.
The kidnapped fairy within the bin still wasn't making any noise. Lifting the lid on its hinges, the lizard looked inside and it took some rooting around to find the opening of the bag. Seeing Amera crumpled inside, Su'zou poked her arm experimentally with the back of his claw, and befuddled by her state, he upended the plastic bag. Now she was dumped into the bin.
The lizard stared for a few more minutes until moving off, vanishing from sight for a short while. He hadn't taken her far into the dungeon. Worse things liked to lurk down here, but right now, it was the least occupied spot he could find.

Amera woke up and found herself in the bin. She moved her arms around and screamed. "HELP! ANYONE PLEASE!" She called out hoping someone would hear her. Tears filled her eyes as she pushed stuff out of the way and she sulked to the floor, her head in her lap. Her wings flashed once to try to light the bin but the light faded as she continued to cry.

The crying brought the big lizard back much quickly. Half running, he hopped with his strange gait, claws clicking on the floor and bringing back with him a rough-hewn satchel. This bag he carried between both his hands, and he set it aside. As he did there was a sound of clinking of jars.
Rummaging a flashlight from the satchel, he turned it on and pointed the beam down into the bin.
"Shh, shh, no one is coming." His voice, dry, deep and soft, "Be good and still."

"W-Who are you and why are you doing this?" Amera asked as she moved away from the light. She continued to cry.

The lizard's yellow eyes rolled up as he thought. Gauging the alien emotions on the fairy's face, Su'zou remembered what tears were for, knowing she was frightened. With the bright light pointed into her eyes, his scaled seven foot frame was only a shadow. But no matter what, it would always be scary to suddenly be taken somewhere else in such a manner.
Leaning back down, he spoke again, "No time for that. You must be quiet and you must hurry to calm yourself. I will give you the flashlight if you do this."

Amera kept quite as she looked at her kidnapper. "But why did you kidnap me?" She asked as she held her hand out for the flashlight.

"Kidnapping? No."
Even as he denied it, he looked away from the inside of the bin to see if anyone was nearby. But the fairy had calmed down, and the lizard handed down the flashlight like he promised. What was rather small in his claws, was much bigger than it seemed, and the heavy duty flashlight was placed in Amera's palm.
"Come out of there and hold the light for me. There's only a small amount of time left." Even as he said it, he picked up the satchel and started going through its contents, cradling it in one arm while searching it with his other.

Amera, still weak from her struggling, held the flashlight as steady as she could. "What is so important that you needed to bring me out here in secret and who are you?" She asked as tears still rolled down her eyes but she stopped crying.

Squinting against the flashlight's beam, the lizard seemed mildly amused somehow - if it was maybe the slight arch in his brow, or the small curl at the tip of his tail. Once Amera was out of the bin, he sat crouched on his haunches, both to make himself appear smaller and so he could set a cylinder jar on the ground.
"Su'zou. And you must be quiet."
He wasn't going to tell her anymore so easily, but while things were going so well, the contents of the satchel were, one-by-one, emptied on the cold and musty dungeon floor. It was just an array of jars and a few folded papers. The last thing he took was what looked like a dried foot of some kind of avian intertwined with purple feathers. With this Su'zou beckoned the fairy a little closer.
"Sit down over here, by me. I only need your help for short while and then we go back, okay?"

"Yes, Su'zou." Amera said as she climbed out of the bin and fell to her butt. She walked over and sat down next to him. "What do you need my help with?"

"A spell to ward off evil."
The lizard was watching her from the corner of his eye now, knowing it was rude to stare, yet it always took him longer than normal to decipher just what kind of mood the pink fleshies were in. It was a small trick he had picked up over the years, to stare without really staring.
And he deemed she was calm enough, so he set down the dried leg onto a paper packet. But there was a very good reason he had stolen the fairy out of her bed, because most of anyone would not agree to what Su'zou wanted.
First, he stole a lock of hair. Grabbing her, one of the ceremonial knives lopped off several inches, but he didn't let go of her hair. "You are a fairy, yes?"

There was the sound of a lid from one of the more darker creatures that lurked in the dungeon. After that there was the shut of a door. Something was coming. Most people minded to themselves over get in the way. But when a cold golden blade came to the neck of the lizard this was a different story.
A man in a purple cloth with an ankh hanging from it had stopped the janitor. "What are you doing to the student? Shall I kill you for entering my dark home?" The man asked. He was willing to kill someone who entered his home.

The lizard's eyes followed the blade up to the arm holding the sword, and then his yellow gaze flicked up towards the man's face. Su'zou held very still, but his slitted nostrils flared, taking in the scents.
"This is school property. And this student is helping me. I am not trespassing."

Amera blushed and hid behind the lizard. She had told him that she was a fairy. "What does that have to do with anything?" She asked as she watched to sword.
