Carles watched as his brother went flying by and went face first into the dirt. He shook his head sadly. Hopefully Kiume would out grow doing that. He was just grateful that his own legs were stead enough to support him. "Ah but you...." As his brother dashed out onto the meadow, he'd had no choice but to follow. He was gonna tell his brother about the dirt.... but it wouldn't hurt him there.
"There's lots of stuff here!" And they had plenty of time to explore, maybe not all of it, but a large amount. He giggled and chased after Kiume. As the two cubs ran through the tall grasses, the meadow exploded into life. Countless butterflies fluttered up and filled the air. "Wooooooooooo-ah." Carles slowed to a halt and stared up at them. His eyes trying to follow all the motion of the fluttering wings.

Kiume was utterly stunned by all the insects fluttering from the grass and into the sky. Did they just appear out of no where? How did Kiume not see them before? The young cub mimicked his brother's gasp of aw. "Whooaaaa..."
It didn't take long for Kiume to snap out of his hypnotized state. He poked at his brother playfully. "I bet I can catch one first." He smirked, challenging Carles to his twisted competition.

It was pretty. Carles tried to wrap his mind around it. This. He wanted to capture this, and somehow save it. Only he wasn't sure how. With a shake of his head to break the hypnotic powers of the butterflies, he looked at Kiume. "Worth it eh?" He sounded proud of himself and showing its wonders to his brother. Carles loved his family.
He grinned at Kiume's challenge. "Oh? Are you sure?" Thinking about it, he decided to let his brother win. It couldn't hurt after all. "Alright! You're on. Mark, set, go!" He bounded through the tall grass, scaring up a few more butterflies that flew right towards his dark sibling.

Kiume grinned, this was finally the chance he got to prove (mostly to himself) that he was just as capable than his more graceful brother! The little cheetah cub leaped into the air at Carles' prompt, swiping his paws at the air clouded with butterflies.
It didn't take long before he snatched a few right out of the sky, but the poor delicate insects fell in pieces into the earth. Kiume didn't mind that he'd just slaughtered innocent bugs, though. 'Cause he just won!
"HAH!" He shouted triumphantly. "I win!" The young cheetah flashed a grin full of white pointed teeth. "But don't worry. Maybe you'll do better next time." Not if Kiume had anything to say about it!
