What she wanted to do? She wanted meat. Her tribe forbid her eating meat on their lands, but looked the other way if she did so off of Starborn land. Her tail flicked to the side, eyes narrowing. "Let's hunt then." She was used to taking control of a group, when she was a kit Prelude always was the follower. She let him lead only when his hyper personality became to much. Her tail flicked as she stood, arching her back as she pushed her front legs forward and wings unfolding, stretching for a good few seconds before standing upright.

"Alright, let's see whose the best hunter." She calmly said, padding further away from Starborn land and to the forests.

Hunting? That could be fun. Taiat followed Harvest slowly stretching his muscles preparing for the hunt. Navigating forests came natural to him. He looked forward to tracking down his prey and finishing them quickly. Are there any dangers that we need to look out for here in the forests Harvest? Taiat listened carefully while making a quick mental checklist of all of the usual dangers that lived in forests. He took a quick sniff of the air and glance around at the surrounding area trying to memorize all of the scents and sights of the area so that he could return back to this spot quickly if need be.

Demon grinned and brushed against Harvest side. "Just let me know where I'm not suppose to go Harvest and I'll get you something for sure."He said grinning. He was good at hunting. His father was a hunter and he picked up his traits. After finding out he merged with the forest becoming unseen to all. He ran full out as he caught scents from here and there. He smelt Elk near by and began to track.

"Just stay off Starborn lands, they....we don't eat meat when on our tribe lands, but we can off." She called out to Demon, turning to address Taiat once she saw Demon walk off. "No, there isn't any dangers except some deer, especially the ones with large horns can hurt you, but predators tend to avoid us." She added, unfolding her wings with a loud snapping sound. Her wounds stung from the movement, but not as much as they used to.

"Let's return here before the sky gets dark, yes? We'll gather our food together." She kicked off the ground, not before nudging Taiat with a slight smirk. In seconds the female was off into the air, searching for prey.

Taiat nodded feeling electrified where Harvest had nudged him. He was excited about hunting and wanted to show off a bit to Harvest. This did bother him slightly; however, he quickly got over it as he thought about it more. What's wrong with wanting to show off to a friend? This land doesn't have any major dangers according to Harvest so I can hunt in peace and not worry so much.

Taiat took off into the forest making as much noise as ghost. The hints of light that peeked in touched his coat softly. Anyone looking at him probably would have missed him despite his orange fur. He was at home in the forest as a tiger was in a jungle. Finding the scent of prey Taiat began his predatory stalk to hunt down his dinner. His muscles felt relaxed but keyed up and ready as he tracked. Thoughts of Harvest and her friend Demon disappeared as Taiat slipped fully into his hunting mood.

Demon had caught the whispers of Harvest voice on the wind. So she had joined a tribe. He knew she could and he was glad that she did. Unia would be excited when she found out. Before dark~ he kept in his mine that that was when Harvest wanted them back. He would try. He planned to go very far out of the lands to find bigger game like elk. He had smelt some but it was of them passing by. He for sure wanted to get this right. He felt he had to prove to Harvest that he wasn't just childish. And the other male had gotten her that stone......... It just didn't sit right with him. He dug his claws into the ground giving him more of a push as he ran.

Harvest flew in the air, her wings extending, pulling against her purple frame, and extending once more. She eyed the ground until she saw a group of deer, positioning herself above one of the younger, smaller ones and swooping below. Her paws knocked at the creatures body, sending it onto its side as she flew back upwards, allowing the others to escape.

She dropped down onto the ground, folding her wings and padding over to the fallen deer. She bit into its throat quickly and swiftly so it wouldn't experience to much pain, leaping away when one leg flailed feebly.

Taiat found his prey soon enough; a nice plump doe. Barely stopping himself from lunging Taiat saw that there was a young fawn hidden in the grass and the mother was only tending to her young. Slinking away quietly Taiat left the mother and her fawn alone. He couldn’t take a mother away from a child. It just wasn’t in him. Picking up another scent Taiat began his hunt anew finding a young buck. It didn’t look as tender as the doe was but it was slightly larger. Sneaking up to the side of his prey he pounced.

Blood dripped from Taiat’s muzzle from where he ripped out the buck’s throat. The creature hadn’t felt any pain. He then proceed to think about how he might drag his kill back to where he was to meet Harvest and Demon. He crawled up into a tree and snapped some limbs. The he took some Ribes aureum and used the plant to form a carrier of a sort that he could shift his kill onto and drag back. This is usually something I would do for an injured fox not a kill but what choice do I have. I’m not going to leave it here to rot.

((forgive me but he is going to get an elk. cause i have elk on the brain and want to eat some))

Demon had ran a good distance away from where they all had started. He slowed his pace down to a jog and looked around. He figured he was miles out which would give him new options for hunting right? He hoped that would be the case. He sniffed the air in hopes of finding a scent and found that there had been something that passed through this little area not to long before him. His tail swayed in excitement and he quietly stalked after it.

When he got close enough to hear it he began to crawl on his stomach poking his face through a bush so he could watch it. About 10 feet away was a young bull elk practicing his fight. It seemed that the elk was so wrapped up into its play fight that he didnt notice Demon moving closer. Demon waited till the elk threw its head up and lunged for its neck. Once his jaws locked on the neck he began to pull and tear with his mouth as his claws swiped and dug into its neck and legs making it harder to stand. After a bit of a struggle and being tossed to the ground Demon and finally killed the elk. He was a little sore but nothing that wouldn't heal later. He grabbed the elk by its hide and began the slow process of dragging it back. He figured he would make it back after dark cause this thing was big.

Harvest unfolded her wings sharply, cutting the air with a thin snapping sound. Carefully, the vixen approached the deer, checking to make sure it was indeed dead. It was. Swiftly she flapped her wings until she rose from the ground, lifting into the air before swooping back down and wrapping her paws firmly around the deer. It was heavy, though she could manage, withdrawing her flames so it wouldn't burn the beast. Slowly she flew back in the air, her speed of flight slowed down by the beast but she would make it.

She wondered what the others found, though the sky wasn't darkened yet and she would have to drop this off and find something else to do. Maybe find some fish, some foxes never had fish before and it would be an interesting experience.

Taiat continued to drag his prize along the path back. He had accidently startled a doe along the path a ways back. He felt bad about scaring her. While pondering and analyzing his hunt Taiat heard something coming through the wood at him. Dropping his harness that allowed him to drag his liter Taiat barley managed to climb up a tree in time. Where he had been standing there were now elk tracks that were deeply rooted into the path. What the hell? Why is that female in such a hurry? I know that the females run off when something attacks a herd. All it would take is one elk on the outskirts of the herd to set the whole lot of them running. Does that mean that Harvest or Demon went after an elk? They are dangerous creatures I hope the others are all right. Slinking down the tree Taiat grabbed the harness and resumed dragging the dead young buck on the liter that had miraculously avoided getting trampled by the elk. Every so often Taiat stopped to pick an herb or dig up a root that could be used if one of the others had gotten injured. While he didn’t know Demon well he didn’t want Demon to get hurt and the thought of Harvest being hurt sent a cold fire down Taiat’s spine. Soon enough Taiat saw the edge of the wood that would bring him to the place where they would all meet when each fox finished the hunt.

As Demon pulled the elk along in a slow trudge he began to notice that he got cut up some. The wounds were a bit deep but it wasn't anything that he hadn't had before and more than likely worse. He ignored as the blood rolled down his fur from various places. It didn't bug him much as long as he avoided knocking some of the elks horns into them he figured it would be fine. They might be dull round points but who knew they could hurt? He dodged around some poison ivy and thorn bushes knowing that they would irritate the wounds but he was more worried that the poison would get on the elk or that when someone went to take a bite they would get a thorn in the mouth, very unpleasant to have. He dropped the elk when he spotted a bush that had some berries. He knew Harvest said she wanted meat but who's to say some Huckle and blueberries wouldnt go nicely with this meal. With that in mind he pulled some out and wrapped the vines around the horns of the elk and started for the meeting place.

Harvest had slipped away for a bit, leaving her prey where she had originally dropped it. Three fish now dangled from her jaw, body dripping wet from fishing. Her flames licked at her elbows, tail wagging slightly as she dropped the fish on top of the deer she had killed early, sitting on her haunches and yawning. "They should be here soon." She mused before curling into a ball and resting her head on her tail, the end of her tail twitching every few seconds as she waited.

The sounds of birds lulled her to sleep, causing the deava to slowly tilt her head until it fell off her paw, sleeping quietly.

Taiat came up near where Harvest was and stopped far enough away that he didn’t disturb the sleeping Deava. Setting down his harness he allowed his prey and the herbs to sit on the ground while he contemplated the situation. I don’t really want to wake her up. She looks cute while she’s asleep. Taking a measured look at Harvest’s pile of food Taiat felt embarrassed. She killed something and still had time to fish? I knew she was amazing; however I underestimated her capabilities. Sitting on his haunches Taiat looked around for Demon. Not seeing the green fox perked a bit of worry in Taiat. What if Demon had gotten hurt while hunting. Harvest wouldn’t be happy to lose a friend. I might not know him, but it’s clear he is important to Harvest so if he doesn’t back soon I’ll have to go and look for him. Taiat’s tail did a slow wag as he thought about how to search the area most effectively. Out of the corner of his eye Taiat watched Harvest snooze and was soothed by her peaceful appearance.

Hours later Demon had finally made it back to the spot where Harvest had said to meet. She was asleep which made him smile. He noticed that Taiat had gotten a deer and Harvest had gotten a deer and some fish. He finished his slow trudge to them and set the elk and berries down beside Harvest before backing away to lay down. He looked at his blook coverd fur and was deciding if he should lick himself clean or not. After a moment or to he figured he would just leave it and do something about it later.
