Personality: As the eldest he feels the full burden of responsibility over his younger siblings, and in some ways, even his mother. Being the eldest male in the family he strives to carry the world's weight on his shoulders, seeking to be the strength behind his mother's and his sister's lives, as any male is the strength behind their female family members. With their father gone he sees it his duty to protect his siblings, and also, to aid his mother when her blindness affects her, despite her refusal to submit to it. This young pup feels fully the weight of responsibility and because of this, is is far more serious and responsible than most pups his age. As he grows, age only deepens this mindset until it is ingrained in him. he will become a sombre, powerful but reserved male who speaks little, his actions saying far more about his honour and dedication to the pack than what few words he says. While he knows that being a male puts him lower in the pack ranks, he understands that males do have their place and strives to fully live up to this goal he has set himself.

Prompt Reply: The fact that females are higher in rank than males is something he has been born with, to him it is fact, but it is no means a restraint. Just as females have their skill set, males have their own and he knows that without one, the other suffers, no matter where you rank. He does not see females as better, just different, more suited to be leaders than often hot-headed males. Thus to him, his place below his sister and mother is right and just. He is their strength, the base of the pillar that holds up their lives and allows them both to fulfil their role in the pack. Without him, they would not be able to do so, and without them, he knows the males would fall apart as a pack. One balances the other.
He sees himself as the strong foundation on which the pack is built. And as he grows he will dedicate himself to his duties in order to best fulfil his role within the family and his pack. He will become a knight, exemplary in deed, pure of honour and honest in spirit.

Future Plans? To uphold the pride's ways, to be a strong knight.. and eventually find a Dame to take as his mate. Id also love for him to have some kind of role in controlling any rogues that get out of hand.Maybe something like an informal enforcer eventually.

Prompt Reply: Dwin'aear sat tall on a log as he watched over his siblings as they played and wrestled with each other. He was the oldest so he felt that it was his duty to watch over them and make sure no one got hurt. Of course he wanted to go join his siblings, to play and be care free. They often called him boring cause he would spend time watching the clerics as much as he could to learn useful things about healing the others incase his siblings ever got hurt.
Dwin'aear would sometimes sneak away to go play in the water. It's the one fun thing he allowed himself to do. He loved the water and everything in it. He would only sneak away for maybe ten minutes cause he didn't want to leave the others alone for to long. He loved nothing more then to wake up earlier then the others to try to practice the things he had picked up from watching the clerics of the pride. He enjoyed knowing that if somebody got hurt he might be able to make them feel better. That he could be useful even if he was lame and didn't want to play with them all.

Thank you all for your entries, I've got the list updated to here now. Sorry that I haven't been on much lately, life threw me a bit of a curveball. But I think I should be around again now, to keep a better eye on this.
And that little sister pup looks so very cute, Naysha. I think dad must have had orange and blue in his fur-coloring, haha. Adorable, I look forward to RPing with you.

Meaning: Fire Eyes
Personality: Iatti is a headstrong and bright girl with tons of curiosity. Though a sense of restraint will kick in when she’s older, she is the kind of girl who hears that noise off in the dark woods and says to herself, “I need to go see what that is!” As a pup, she will interpret her willingness to face potential danger as bravery, but as she matures she will begin to see that her efforts are better spent defending others against danger instead of risking herself in foolish pursuit of it.
Iatti will always have her pack’s well-being at heart, and her ambition will always be to help her packmates no matter what the cost. During her youth she will be in training to become a Dame, like her mother, but in the end she will choose to become a Cleric and lead a more peaceful life, regardless of her upbringing and heritage. She will still be ready to leap to someone’s defense if they’re being attacked, and yet from that point on she will do her very outmost to never directly harm any non-prey animal again.
Iatti’s upbringing was such that she highly respects her mother, and her decision to become a Cleric will be no easy thing for her. However, she will otherwise hope to do anything that pleases her mother, while still remaining true to herself and loyal to her pack.

Prompt Reply: Iatti knew that she was lucky. After all, not all pups were born into a destiny, as she was. From birth she had a destiny, and that was something that many searched their whole lives for and never knew, at least knew for sure, like she did. She was to become a Dame, the highest rank of non-royalty of her esteemed pack.
Today training had been hard, as it always was. If Iatti didn’t push herself, what would be the point of it? She wouldn’t get stronger or be any wiser if she didn’t try. And also there was the added bonus of it pleasing her mother, Kurroa. Iatti would have found a way to fly over the moon for her mother if she’d asked it of her, and even though her siblings might have resented her for her eager-to-please attitude and her birthright, she could care less. Her brothers didn’t matter, they were lower than her anyway, even the firstborn of them. Her sister was wonderful, but she was born after Iatti too, so at least Iatti didn’t think she was as important. For such a small pup, Iatti had a huge ego.
And why not? After all, didn’t she deserve it? Iatti thought so, and no one could have told her differently. She made her mother proud, and that was all she was interested in.
Desired Future Rank: Cleric
Future Plans? All Iatti’s life, she feels that her mother has been grooming her to become a Dame like her. But somewhere along the line as she’s growing into an adult she will decide that she will defy her mother’s wishes and become a Cleric instead. The turning point is something I’d like to plot; maybe while she’s training, she accidentally injures someone, and feels so guilty about it that she decides she wants to lead a life of healing instead of fighting. This may cause friction between her and her mother if Kurroa does not like the choice.
Anything Else? As far as the Metaplot goes, I see Iatti being one of those members that is accepting of the new blood. She herself was noble, after all, and chose the life any commoner with the right training could take, and has since felt that there’s no difference between a packmate with noble blood and one without. I can see her even possibly being a very outspoken advocate of new pack members against the “Traditional” members who look down on them.

I...hate to do this because I know how it feels to have a contest extended when you're already waiting. But if there aren't enough entries by the end date (I'd like at least two or three for each pup so I can actually have something to compare from) I'm going to extend it. I'll announce if it's extended, though if there's still only one entry each you can kind of just...assume as much.
Sorry to do this to you guys, I just don't like to chose between one it's not exactly a contest then. I really do appreciate the interest you've shown so far by entering!

Cysha had been learning things from her mother, since she was the oldest female child in her moms line she would naturally be the one chosen when she was old enough to be a dame. She looked forward to it. She wanted to carry on her mothers proud blood line and be strong. To be proud to say she was her mothers daughter. That was something she would love to get to say. Of course she could say it now but she wanted to be higher in the pack. She wanted to have a status as an adult and a dame to say that Kurroa was her mother and that she would have children that would one day say that Kurroa was their grandmother.
Cysha looked at her sister and smiled. She wasn't sure if her sister felt the same way but she hoped she did. And if she didn't then Cy had enough determination for both of them. When she was old enough she would prove it to them all that she could be an adult by spending her week in the forest on the mountain, then she would become a dame and would have children! She would be strong and she would make her mother proud and happy. She always told her how to do things better and how to make sure she did everything the best she could in life for the pack. She was proud to say she was part of the Juu'Kilele pack and would always protect it with everything she had.
Desired Future Rank:She would try her hardest to become Queen but she goes slow and will start by being a Dame
Future Plans? I see her having lots of meetings with males as she looks for a mate who is worthy of her. Someone who will listen to her when she needs it and not ask alot of questions but also someone who is strong enough to protect her and her family, as well as protect the pack.
Anything Else? She doesn't speak much cause she likes to think. When she does talk she is usually pretty blunt to the point where shes kinda mean.

On a side note, Tiger_Kisa, because Kurroa is not the queen or of the royal line, it would, unforutunately, be impossible for any of her children to become the next queen. Her daughter can aspire in vain if you'd like, but she would learn pretty quick that it's Queen Vorona's daughters that would contest for queenship. I just wanted to make sure it was clear for you.

Name: Fivin
Meaning: ‘Rain storm’
Personality: In short, Fivin is driven, proper, and calculating. Being the youngest male of the litter, and in addition to that, being the youngest male in the pack at the moment, as well as being of the old blood, he strives to prove his strength and worth. He won’t pick fights for no reason and will fight if he must, but he would prefer to devote his energy to serving the pack. Fivin will always be very polite and courteous, carrying on in a manner that he expects himself to act. Quite formal while out and about, during down time and when he is with loved ones, he relaxes and lets his warmer side out. As for calculating, it isn’t the scheming manner, but in the manner that he thinks through his actions, considering consequences, and the like. When he is younger, he’ll have to sit himself down and figure out each possible course of action before acting, or he’ll pick what seems to be the best idea at the time and work with the potential for mistakes down the line.

Prompt Reply: It was morning and Fivin had perched himself upon the relatively flat top of a large stone, at least larger than the pup himself. His posture was relaxed and yet alert in spite of the early hour. It was a good thinking time, a time of reflection before the day got into full swing. The subject of his pondering this morning, one might wonder? Today, he was giving some thought of himself and what he wanted for the future.
The pup looked down at his dust colored paws. “I’m so small…” His musing began. “One of the youngest of my siblings, and even still, one of the youngest in the pack.” Giving a soft humming sound, Fivin lifted his gaze to survey the relative quiet of the morning. “It won’t always be so. No. Everyone starts small, but never for very long. I’ll grow larger and mature into adulthood.” For a moment, he quieted his mind, taking a long, slow deep breath. “I’ll be a fine adult when I get there. I shall serve, protect, and loyally honor this pack, my home. I won’t be the little pup I am today.” What would he do? What did the future hold in store for him? “I want to be a Knight,” He thought with a tone of utmost certainty in his mind. “Or if I am unable to achieve that, then I shall dutifully serve as a Ranger.” He wasn’t blind to the limited chance of him becoming a Knight, but he would pursue his goal as if he already knew that it was a certainty. Nothing would be able to keep him from showing how far he'd come. The path was going to be long, but it was one that he knew that he would take every step with pride and determination.
Fivin let a little smile draw upon his features. "Yeah. Nothing will stand in my way..." His tail wagged as he imagined the greatness he could achieve as he hopped down from his perch to return to the familial fold. Enough thinking had been done and it certainly gave him an optimistic, excited push to get him going.
Desired Future Rank: His dream rank would be a Knight, but even if all of his efforts prove to not be enough, he would be okay with being a Ranger. Whatever rank he were to achieve, he would devote himself wholly to the task at paw. (Or as a twist and an ultimate slight to his determination, a Jester. Perhaps if he were to be injured during his trial and be unable to complete it or due to some over-zealousness during his youth. If this were to play out, he would ultimately gain a degree of bitterness as to the hand he had been dealt. This is totally up for discussion with folks and I'd be willing to use it as metaplot fodder somehow, in the event I were to get him, of course.)
Future Plans? A friend or friendly rival would give him an outlet for friendly competition and provide him the opportunity to push himself towards his best all the while encouraging progress in his counterpart. Either the little partnership could bond the two together into the best of bosom buddies, or it can sour, leading to a long sting of head butting episodes. Fivin’s sense of formal propriety would keep him from verbally arguing in and around the bulk of the pack, but subtle methods of combat, such as will or endurance, would be right up his alley.
Anything Else? Maybe a subtle, courtly love style romance down the road, even if he doesn’t end up a Knight. He would certainly want to find a mate somewhere along the line. It wouldn’t do to let the Old Blood die.

Meaning: Mist(y) Dawn
Personality: She's pretty feisty and determined to do the best she possibly can for anyone that asks it of her. She will often go out of her way to help out her family and pack no matter what she is going through. Most of the time she doesn't feel she is good enough for the path that is laid out for her so she gets a moment of doubt or two but they are very rare for the otherwise confident girl. Ilianis is a bit overly generous when it comes to family and pack members for the most part. She might have a bit of an 'elitist' mindset when it comes to new and incoming members having been picking up her mother's views on the subject at least a little bit. When faced with a crisis of some sort she is able to try to keep cool and work through the issue through creative problem solving.

It was almost maddening some days when she was made to work so hard to try and upkeep her image and always being pushed by her mother. The pressure was heavy on the Pup to be a certain way and to act as a role model for those around her and as one that someday will become a Dame and carry on a legacy of sorts. Some days Ilianis wanted to flee and just run away, some days when the pressure just weighed upon her so heavily that it made her legs almost buckle down from underneath her and make her lay flat on her stomach. She hated those days, they sapped up her drive and any determination she might have.
Yet Ilianis refuses to quit. She had a duty and a will that was greater than her desire to flee - at least for this moment. She would do her best and make her Mother and Pack proud of her. Anyone that might of had their doubts in her needed to be proved wrong anyways, Ilianis would show everyone just what sort of mettle she had.
Now if only she had a quiet place to herself where she could have some time alone to collect and gather her thoughts and behave as she wanted...

Future Plans? Perhaps to try and find some time to find her own passions and desires outside of the wishes of her Mother. This might require actual socialization and more RPs but it is one thing I'd like to explore with this sort of set up. Right now I am just aiming simply to make her a Dame as her mother would have wished and hoped. Perhaps one day having to deal with a group or an individual newcomer to see how she handles them and what happens - if they change her mind or challenge her views.
Anything Else? I have AIM and other contacts if they are ever needed. I am glad to sit around and plot things out and do in depth storylines so the more I can do that the better! I am always flexible and willing to do what is needed to help out with things that need to be done for RPs.

Okay, I tried to pick as quickly as possible because I know how torturous it can be to wait. There were a lot of really interesting personalities proposed, and it was hard for me to pick which ones to keep. But, with some careful deliberation, I have narrowed it down.

You can RP them right away if you wish, I'm not doing a 'birthing' RP. Keep in mind that between mother and Uncle Aheero, they're going to have someone keeping an eye on them at all times (so no crazy falling-off-a-mountain shenanigans at random please, eheh).
