"Really?" Jin Feng seemed to lighten up a little. Bai Mei was turning out to be just his type of guy. Well, anyone that wouldn't sell him out to Lily was his type but still.
"Yeah! I'll bet you cook way better than Lily," He said excitedly, going back to the cooking subject and sticking out his tongue. Whether he was a picky eater or Lily was just a horrid cook was different depending on who was telling the story, but Jin Feng pretty much survived on what he was forced to eat at the dinner table and whatever treats he could pocket the money for and then stuff his face with while Lily shopped.
"Deal," Jin Feng said with a nonchalant shrug in regards to never stealing from Jing Lin. He preferred shiny metals and coins to jade trinkets and besides, Lily was probably going to take home several legitimately anyway considering she was a sucker for pretty things like that.
That still left the standing issue of what to do for fun, which, as far as Jin Feng was concerned, was solved with a bit of mind wandering and one quick spaz. "Hey, bet you can't catch me!" He shouted after a short moment of thought and a rough bump against Bai Mei's shoulder before he dove into the crowd, tripping some poor woman and scuttling over a wall to drop out of sight.
