Achilles gave a slight nod - satisfied with her answer's, he wasn't sure what he would have done if Pen had decided to make a stand against him on those two points but it probably wouldn't have been good. Achilles could put up with allot but some things he was very solid on..and those were two of them. "Only so far in any case" He countered with a smile, though it was mostly teasing "But always my firstborn son" He amended to placate her just in case his joking comment earlier got her riled up.
"You still fret about something" He commented when he glanced down and noticed the far away look in her eyes. It was clear something still bothered her - and while most of the others might not think he had any place asking her about it, Achilles did so anyways. He wouldn't be Achilles if he didn't.

Penthesilea shot him a small look at his initial comment. Of course he would want more sons, what male wouldn't but she wasn't sure if she wanted anymore, she loved Patroclus but males weren't what the pack was founded on. Still she couldn't deny that perhaps one day in the future she would want more pups, and if Achilles was still around then perhaps he could father that litter as well.
It wasn't shocking that he had noticed her obvious worry about an unvoiced concern. Sighing Penthesilea pulled her eyes away from the forest to look at her consort. "I worry about Yakut, our Shamaness, she had been gone for many months. Varia had spoke with her before returning and said that she would come home shortly, but so much time has passed. If something has happened to her...I do not have the full knowledge needed to properly train a new Shamaness."

Achilles shifted slightly on his paws as he considered her answer - personally he didn't see why the pack needed a shamaness to begin with, they'd been doing fine without one so far had they not? Of course that probably wasn't a comment he should voice. Not unless he wanted to endure a boring lecture on why one was needed anyways.
Of course finding those who were missing or hiding was something he was decent at - his forte almost when you thought about it and so he could at the very least offer Pen something. "Would you like me to go and search for her? I understand that she may not come back with me a lowly male...but I could at the very least ease your worry and bring you news." He had no doubt that he could find this wolf, Achilles could find anyone of this he was confident.

Penthesilea sat quietly for a good while considering Achilles offer. She wasn't entirely sure if he could find Yakut, the Shamaness could be just about anywhere and like he said likely wouldn't return with him strictly based upon his gender. But she could not deny that at least learning that she is still out there somewhere and safe would life a great weight off of her shoulders. Realistically she should sent out one of the sisters, as Yakut would be more trusting of them but their numbers were still small and she needed all the warriors she could around the packs territory to safe guard her pack.
Well Achilles did mention earlier than his job slowed down during the winter months, so he was likely free to do this for her. Perhaps it would work out, he could at least find the wayward Shamaness and report back to her about it. "I do not think she would return with you, however knowing where she is and that she is safe would be a relief. I will warn you however, that Yakut can be a little...odd at times." She was certainly used to the Shamanesses oddities but Achilles was not.
Standing Penthesilea gave her muscles a stretch. "I best be getting back, there are some things I need to attend to. Consider my offer to move to a den closer to the central area, it will be good for Partoclus...and all of us." She didn't want him to do things just for his son, but for their daughters too. "Should you go to look for Yakut come and talk to me before you leave." Turning she padded off, glad to have gotten some things off of her chest but knowing that she could not put off confronting Varia much longer nor could she ignore her duties just so that she could chat with her consort.

"I will come soon" Achilles called after pen as she left, he would go in search of this Shamaness Yakut - if only to feed hi own curiosity and starve off the boredom winter typically brought on. Of course he would speak with Patroclus first..and his daughters as he wasn't sure how long this trip would be.
Energized by the thought of an upcoming mission Achilles slipped off into the forest, he would consult with the crows, the winged citizens of the forest were a source of great information.
