-Modest Mouse
-Depeche Mode
-Nirvana
-REM
-Smashing Pumkins
-Rage Agianst the Machine And countless others. I also listen to a wide variety of classical and traditional music. I don't like most rap and all country. And Tiptoer, pardon me for saying so, but...Switchfoot? I find it a little ironic that an atheist listens to a Christian band O.o I don't have Switchfoot's cds, but the like 2 songs they have on TV, I like tehm. They USE to play for a Christian label, and they are born-again Christians, but I don't care. My brother is atheist, but he listens to Lamb Of God, a like death metal Christian band, lol. Hell, I listen to Five Iron Frenzy. It seems every atheist listens to at least one christian band =O

As for the question. I don't think religion, or lack of it has anything to do with music preference. I think it only decides what CD's you have when are with you're parents.
