"Oh? You have children?" She shook the last of the water from her fur then joined him. "I see now why you can be so protective of a female." She smiled as she passed him then looked back. "This way. They live in a small area by a pond." She began leading the way.

"Yes....i was a little bit of a badboy in my early years...I have two daughters and a son...." He smiled proudly, "They are all good.....I miss them terribly....The only one I've seen lately is Farah...." He followed her, "Don't you worry blossom....I will take care of these ruffians for you."

Ellica almost chuckled at the way he said bad boy. The way he acted she wouldn't have guessed that he was a father. "Three? Wow... sounds like you had your paws full." She smiled as her tail wagged lightly. "Why don't you ever pay them a visit? It shouldn't hurt to see them." She then blushed. "Thank you... but if they get to be too much for you I know how to fight. Its just up a head." She motioned.

"I would love to visit them.....But i don't know where my other two children are....They sort of....just dropped off the map....I can't find them..." He frowned sadly, "Ahhh my lady.....You needn't worry about me....I know how to handle myself in a fight...."He grabbed her paw and planted a chaste kiss on it. "Just wait out of sight, my beautiful princess." He smiled at her.

"Oh... I am sorry to hear that.." She frowned as her ears dropped. Now that she heard that he didn't even know were his kits were she was started to wish she hadn't asked him. She was sure it only brought pain to him. She could see it in his eyes. "Oh.." She blushed as he kissed her paw. "Um... Ok..." She looked over where there were three male foxes hanging by a pond. "That's them..."

Kai smiled at her kindly, then looked over at the three male foxes and growled. "I shall be right back fair maiden...." He shot her a reassuring smile before walking down the side of the cliff down to the pond where the three males were playing.
(ooc did you want to be the foxes or did you want me to?)

Ellica watched from a safe distance. She wasn't really happy about letting him go alone but what could she do? If he wanted to do it alone there was little she could do to change her mind. She watched him walk toward the side of the cliff but before she let him get further she called out to him. "Be careful... they are allot tougher then they look..."

~Time Skip~
Kai returned to Ellica on the cliff top. He has managed to teach the foxes a lesson, but at a cost. He had gotten hit quite a few times and was in fact limping. He didn't mind the injuries thought, because the males would not be bothering her again.
He smiled as he stopped in front of her, "I told you I would not need your assistance."

She watched him walk over to her and at first glance it seemed he was walking differently. Her thoughts were confirmed as he got closer. He was limping and had a few cuts on his face. Worried she ran to his side. "Mm..." She stopped in front of him. "This all my fault..." She looked at him sadly. "Look what they did to you..."

"They looked far worse when they left, I assure you." He chuckled heartily, then instantly regretted it when it shot a sharp pain through him. "Mm! Note to self.....No more laughing for at least two days...." He groaned and sat down.
"Do not fear, beautiful Ellica....My wounds are nothing serious....I will mend quickly..."

Ellica couldn't help but smile at his words. For his looks he was vary bold and brave. She had never seen a male take on three foxes his size or bigger and come back... well... alive. She then frowned at his pain. "Mm... You need to rest some where..." She looked around. "Somewhere where you wont be... well... discovered if they want to find you again..." She urged him to stand with her head. "Please... come this way..."

"Mm.....i think that you are right....." He nodded his head, "I do require a place to rest for the night....perhaps you could take me back to your den." He smiled flirtatiously at her. He might be wounded, in pain and bleeding, but there was still a beautiful vixen next to him and by god he wanted to flirt with her.
He realized his approach was less then subtle, but he cared not. If it worked.

"Of course..." She looked at him and blushed at his den comment. Normally she would't even think about brining a male into her home but she owed him for helping her... and it was her fault that he had gotten hurt. "My den isn't too far..."

Kai sensed the unease in her. "Maiden...if it makes you feel uncomfortable....please I do not need to go back to your den....I could find other shelter here....I am sure that there are plenty of caves in which i can inhabit for the night." He smiled at her weakly. His vision was blurring slightly and he was having a hard time staying still.

"No..." Ellica shook her head. She didn't want to leave the male alone. Or rather... she couldn't. He only got those wounds because he had helped her. What ever had happened to him was her doing. "No... Your going to stay at my den... besides..." she began walking with him. "If you didn't who would take care of you out here?"
