I told my sister's BF and it turned out great for me, but not so great for her. I took him from her. The relationship was great, even though I'm married now, we're still great friends. 3nodding

I came out accidentally to an entire class once. I was going to school in Ohio after I graudated from high school. We had this class called University 100 where you were taught things like time management, life skills, and just about anything you would need to know in order to survive the college life. One of the first things we needed to do was email our instructors and tell them about ourselves. They said we only needed to send it to them and not the entire class because of privacy issues. Well...I wrote my email in which I told them all about myself, past experiences, and the fact that I was gay. Now, I was already out of the closet and I didn't mind telling people if they asked, I just wasn't ready to tell an entire class. Needless to say, instead of clicking on my instructor's address, I clicked on "Send To All." The entire class got a copy of my email. sweatdrop What's worse, my roommate was in that class as well. Afterwards, he came up to me and said, "Joe, you've been hiding something form me and I don't appreciate it." I was so scared. It turned out, though, that he had a few gay friends and relatives and didn't care one bit. He said that he was proud of me for taking the step to come out to the entire class....I didnt' have the heart to tell him that it was all a mistake.
For the rest of the semester, I was the resident expert on gay life and culture. heart It was wonderful.

Yes!!! I had this friend who always said I was gay because of the way I acted more female and wasn't like other boys. Well anyway, once we were walking back home from town and she kept talking about boys, so I thought it would be cool to join in, so I said "he is fit!" and she said "I can't believe you said that" but was smiling and seemed happy and whatever, then asked me if I'd be on MSN that night, I said yes and things seemed OK. I went on MSN, I thought, if she'd told everyone they'd ask me on MSN but she hadn't told them yet... Two days later we went back to school, when I was walking towards the formroom I walked past her and her friends and I heard her TELLING THEM THAT I ******** TOLD HER! I thought I could trust her but I was so wrong . . .

I came out to my best friend first and she was cool with it. I didn't have a girlfriend at the time, thank God. My parents found out on accident and that wasn't good.

I came out to my friend Sabrina second. The first person I told was my lil sis and she understood. Sabrina shouted out in front of the whole cafeteria during breakfast "YOU LIKE BOOBS AND d**k!" so yeah....I got stares for over a month still do sometimes if they recognize me and i never sit in that general area....also her other friend is a homophobe and keeps telling people im hitting on her scream some people can be so egotistical just cuz im bisexual doesnt meen i like everyone! So I dont bring anything up around her anymore.......

Hmm...not specifically, no. I find it funny, because when I first came out, I found out that one of my very good friends had asked another if I was bi. xD And then, soon after I came out, a whole bunch of my other friends came out. I thought it was interesting, but it did make sense: I'm a leader in my "circle."
In a way, I guess I could have "come out" to the wrong person. I'm completely out, though I don't necessarily go around professing it, so many people still don't know. (If they ask, I generally tell them.) But, I have done presentations to classes about the LGBTQ community, and have gotten some negative responses, so that might count. Overall, I'm very lucky, and I'm so sorry to those of you who have had people turn their backs on you.

I have only had one problum and that's when my one friend found out. She i really religious and thinks that all gay people should die. She doesn't think that i'm human anymore. It kinda sucks but then again who wants to be friends with someone who doesn't want to be firends with you?

*ahem..*
I think I came out a little too early. Recently I don't know what I am anymore, I've only been with one girl in my entire life, and that was online... I need to explore more...
I already told all my friends and my dad and family knows.. So... sweatdrop
