Fog didnt even stop, he did reach into his coat though, pulling out the black tome he had recently retrieved, and as he pulled it out, its overwhelmingly tantalizing aura flowed from the room, a pure promise of power, pulling at anyone in the room, seeming to just speak out, saying "work for me, please me, and ill give you your greatest desire...", all just through the emotions it invoked from its aura, and yet, maintaining the corruptiveness of it. it DID however, unravel the barrier, and Fog brought his hand back up, for her throat.

((wow, way to automate my characters powers....))
Chelsea was puzzled a bit by this sudden change of heart she was feeling for the man that attacked her. Then she saw his attack coming again, and her instincts took over, making any confusing emotions irrelevant. After all, he was not the one she was bounded to. Chelsea's hands glowed blue, as did her eyes, and she jumped back, a magic bolt firing from her hand to throw Fog away from her. She looked emotionless, a stark contrast to how she had been a moment before.

(Sorry, ill try and keep from doing that again. only went that far, cause i knew one of you would stop me from reaching her anyway.)
Fog took the hit, and flew back, but not far. the aura of the book demanded obedience to all around it, even Fog, as he held it protectively, near his chest, was affected by it, but that wouldnt be something the others would notice. standing straight after the hit, Fog scowled, and held his hand up, deciding to try and hit Chelsea with the same sort of move as he had hit Bradley with to corrupt him, bringing his hand back up, and sending a bolt of concentrated aura at her, the same aura the book gave off.

Bradley tried to grab her from behind so his master could get her.

((okay, I probably would have let you destroyed the barrier anyways))
Chelsea could sense Bradley behind her and saw the bolt coming towards her. She ducked and rolled out of the path of both of them. She moved her hands across her chest when she was stable and sent blades of blue energy flying towards them.

fog didnt so much as hesitate, bringing the bokk up, and it glowed, a protective barrier forming around him, the magic forming it powerful, and ancient. when the blue blades hit it, they disappated instantly,m and he launched another bolt at her.

Bradley spread his wings and moved them in front of him, letting them take the attack. Then he moved to try and keep her within the path of the bolt.

((You know, if you stop attacking her and tell her what Fog is doing, she will probably just join you on her own.....))
A magic barrier deflected the barrier before she dodged out of the way.

(What is he supposed to tell her? that hes trying to kill a god and take its place? ya, id jump on that bandwagon.)
fog scowled, and stopped. "Bradley, Halt!" Fog said, regaining his composure for a moment. he closed the book and looked her over, apraising her. perhaps he could make her useful without simply corrupting her. putting the book away, he looked her over for a moment, through her barrier.

Bradley instantly stopped and waited. He made sure he was behind her.

((yes, but she's the kind that would go through with it, because she wants to see how it would end. I guess I didn't make it clear enough in her profile that she is more interested in the ends, that she isn't so concerned with the morality of the means.))
Chelsea watched him for a few moments. Then her barrier slowly faded and her eyes stopped glowing. She still knew Bradley was behind her, but they weren't attacking anymore. "Really, was all that necessary?" she asked.

Fog looked her over, and spoke. "Tell me, who are you, and why are you here?" Fog asked, his voice commanding. (i gotta go for a minute, ill be back within half an hour.)

"I told you, already, I'm Chelsea," Chelsea said, a little annoyed. "and I'm here because I was curious in where the airship was going."

Fog smiled when she said it was because she was curious. few people would be so willing to sate their curiosity by riding an airship to who knows where, just to find out. "So tell me, I take it your the type to value knowledge, at any cost, even over life?" Fog said, putting it rather bluntly.

From a distance they would be able to hear the roar of a monster. Soon, the dark dragon the roar came from appeared on the horizon. It was flying right towards the temple. Within moments the beast was there, circling around the temple.
