Amaranth approached the wooden house, barely flinching as it groaned in the wind. The blonde boy was dressed in a brown druid's robe and a pair of prop glasses, attempting to dress as Tarlach from the game Mabinogi. He'd recently discovered the game while playing on Ezri's computer; it was love at first click.
The boy made his way to the door, knocking. The door swung open with an eery creak at his touch, revealing a girl paler than a sheet, her skin nearly blending in with the white of her dress. The boy's obsidian eyes regarded her a moment before holding out his plastic pumpkin. "Trick or treat." he said, his voice quiet and barely audible.
The girl, who appeared to be shaking in her spot, merely pointed to the bloody burlap sack at the middle of the bloody entry hallway. "Th-there...." she whimpered, biting at her knuckle.
Amaranth, unphased by the acting or the blood, made his way to the bag. In front of it sat a bowl of candy. The blonde headed boy ignored the bag as it started to move, simply grabbing his crunch bar and heading out on his way, politely closing the door behind him

Encouraged by the candy bar he received at the last house, Amaranth made his way up to the older looking home. Adjusting his brown robes and lenseless glasses, the child made his way up to the house, knocking on the door and stepping back, already moving his plastic candy holder up in the position. "Trick or treat?" he murmured as the door swung open. Flat onyx widened slightly at the sight the met him.
The older man had to be of at least forty years of age, the stench of beer and ale emanating from his overly large and flabby form. The only things the man wore was a diaper, a bonnet, and a scowl. He let out a hostile sounding snarl as he viciously slammed the door in the face of the child.
Amaranth stood there in a second, shocked by the man's appearance and rudeness. A small frown worked it's way across the boy's face. The blonde huffed indignantly, walking off the porch briskly as he headed off to the next house.

The blonde headed sundial boy made his way to a rather tacky looking house. It looked like a plastic pumpkin factory had thrown up all over the premises. All the orange made the poor boy's eyes want to scream in protest. Regardless, Amaranth endured the pumpkin abyss of a yard to make it to a rather brightly dressed girl sitting by a pile of plastic pumpkins. The blank child held out his pumpkin-shaped pail, lips barely moving as he recited the age old chant: "Trick or Treat."
"Feh." was all the unpleased teen in the rainbow-colored dress mumbled, flicking her wrist dismissively as she tossed a bag. "There. Now scram, kid. Beat it." she huffed, crossing her arms after shooing the boy away.
Amaranth stumbled, trying to catch the bag. Doritos? Cool! Ignoring the teen's perturbed behavior, he placed the small bag of chips in his bag and continued onwards.

Graham backed away slowly from the woman who offered him tea. Normally he didn't turn down free treats but it was the middle of the night and she was dressed.. well the boy wasn't sure if her barely there outfit was a costume or not. It seemed like weird people lived in this neighborhood and he wondered if maybe he should skip ahead a block or two if he wanted to get any real trick or treating done.
Piper was less than pleased by the costume the woman who'd answered the door had been wearing. Her suspicions grew when Graham walked away with no candy and she wished she knew what had been said to him. Either way she marked down the house address in her mind and made a mental note to alert the authorities to it later.

Riley and Cole were both filled with thank yous ans grins as the walked away from the princess lady who had given them three boxes of candy each. This more than made up for the first house they'd gone to, even if Cole still had the huge gumdrop.
Riley placed a single box her her candy bucket and let her lavender tentacles each wrap around one and them them like maracas as she skipped back to her father. This was what Halloween was supposed to be like.
Cole laughed at his sister and instead placed all his candy boxes in his bucket. He knew his tentacles would end up squishing the boxes and spilling the candy if he didn't.

Oh god, oh god Carina was going to call her father to pick her and Orion up right now. They'd been given skulls from some crazy old rich lady, skulls that Carina was pretty sure were made from real people. There was a lot Carina was willing to forgive from her friends and neighbors when it came to weird things. This though. a dead person being given to her on Halloween, that was just too creepy.
Orion tagged along behind Carina looking more than a little disturbed. " We can give them to Tori?' he suggested. She'd liked weird skulls right? " Or Purple"

Tarot had not known there was such a thing as a giant building full of rooms that people lived in for as long as they wanted. But apparently there was. And Sev was making her knock on all the doors. Meany.
She sighed and pushed her witch hat out of her face as she knocked on the next door. There was a loud thud, some very weird squishy sounds, then slow footsteps. The door creaked open to a horrible smell and a giant, half-naked man with a weird metal thing for a head. Behind her Tarot heard a squeek and thud that meant Sev had fainted.
"Trick or treat," she said, holding up her pumpkin. The thing stared at her (she thought) then reached out and deposited a few little caramell squares into her bag. They stank like he did, but candy was candy.

After the hotel incident Sev had rushed Tarot back out to normal houses. Their next stop had very few decorations, but the light was on. And elderly woman answered the door, dressed in a white dress that looked a tad to small with some dead blonde creature on her head.
No candy from the crazy lady, just a heavy box. Tarot looked inside and found nothing, but some unseen creature gave her a giant kiss and left her face covered in drool.
Tarot blinked, shrugged, and handed the box to Sev since it was a little heavy for her.

Bug was doing her usual night walk when, what the heck? why were there so many kids out so late? Not only were they out they were dressed up.
Bug crossed her arms and tilted her head when a boy dressed up as a cowboy passed her she asked what was up. "Don't you know its Halloween, are you some kind of mummy or something?" the boy brushed her off and walked over to the next house with out hearing Bug's response.
Bug was wrapped up more like a hospital patient that escaped, but only because she bumped her head and broke her arm the other day. Bug stalked a new group of passer by children and and saw how they knocked on a door. The door opened and out came a person with candy, they were simply giving it away! Bug mouth hanged open, she had to try this!
Bug went over to a tall less noticed house(which was a hotel, but Bug doesn't know the difference) and knocked on the door, no answer, fine then. Bug opened the door and peeked in side "Trick or Treat" she mimic the other kids. Still no answer, Bug strolled inside, there were lots of rooms, did she have to knock on every door?
Bug took the seventh door down and instead of knocking she simply turned the nob "Trick or treat she said more strained. A huge man, like mega huge came round the corner. He was shirtless and bloody and WHERE WAS HIS HEAD! someone put a triangle block on it! Bug screamed and started to run back down the hallway when she was suddenly gripped on the shoulder and turned around. The huge man held out a bowl full of gummy looking teeth. Bug felt pretty silly when she realized he was such a bad guy a picked out on of the snacks before running out of the building giggling.

After the disaster of the first house they had gone to, Faiya had bounced back fairly quickly, and now was insisting that she be the one to pick out the next house, because surely she could pick a better one out than her Mama could!
The house she chose was a rather odd-looking one, simply because its residents seemed to think it was the wrong time of year - there were Christmas decorations up and not a costume to be found.
Still, Faiya got a bag of candy corn out of it, which made the house much better than the last one in her eyes.

Faiya had no idea what the man in the blue suit was trying to be, but she knew a rubber chicken when she saw one - those things scared her sister, Luvvie, which made sense she was part chicken, and then he'd insisted on a handshake as he gave her a creepy friendly smile.
Innocently, the toddler shook it, but the hand came off in hers! Oh, it wasn't real, okay.... but she got to keep it! Yay!

A graveyard. This house wasn't a house at all, it was a cemetery! Tish tried to tug Faiya away from the frightening place and back in the direction of the safer, brightly-lit houses, but instead the toddler broke away from her mother's hold and took off running to the middle of it, where stood... eep? The GRIM REAPER?!? A moment later, Faiya was running back to her mother, giggling and holding a handful of... raffle tickets of some kind? "Mama, Mama, read it! Whassit say?" The blue-skinned toddler asked.
Hands shaking slightly, Tish took the ten tickets from her toddler and read them out loud. They said...
WEREWOLF?!?!
Ten raffle tickets for a werewolf? What kind of pranks were people playing tonight?!?

Bug stumbled on into the street,Okay no more tall houses, too scary, she told herself. Making her way to where she could find more kids she found a rather large house, not tall, and kids seemed to have been making there way back out without having to scream Bug tried her luck.
Rapping on the door "Trick or Treat" she tried. a teenager looking rather displeased to be on candy duty greeted her. "Don't you have a bag or something? Whatever here take it." the annoyed girl with horns handed her a bottle of pop and shut the door quick.
Bug sat at the curb and undid the pop bottle. While taking a swig before eating her gummy she decided she would need some sort of bag if she was to get more things.

"So we just go to people's houses even if we don't know them and they give us candy?" Tyyne asked with the excitement of a small child, her eyes wide as she stared up at her glowing sister. Evari grinned and nodded, reaching down to carefully pet Tyyne's hair in a way that wouldn't ruin how she'd put it up to match her goddess costume. It'd been so hard picking a costume for that girl! She didn't want to be a fairy, and she definitely couldn't pull off something like what Evari was wearing, but the only costumes they found for so long with short skirts were fairies! Until they found an adult 'goddess' costume that was short...and probably meant to be sexy. But on Tyyne it first perfectly! Evari had decided to dress as a sweet 'cherry pie'. Get it? Get it? She was so clever. Yup.
"Mhm! You dress in costume, go door to door and just say 'trick or treat' and they give you candy! Though sometimes people are smartasses and give tricks instead of treats...oh hey...this is your first Halloween, isn't it?"
"Uh huh!" Tyyne grinned, nodding. Evari laughed, walking with her sister to the first house of the night. Huh...this house was pretty boring compared to the rest on this street. It only had one decoration? Why even bother? Geeze. Evari let Tyyne do the honors of pressing the doorbell, the pair holding out their candy bags. "Trick or trea--uh..." This...lady was dressed...like Evari usually did! The girls blinked and just stared at the woman dressed like a hooker, she even had a sign that said 'Suck for a buck!' Tyyne wasn't sure she wanted to know what that meant.
"Well! Aren't you two just the cutest!" Really? Evari was cute? What a strange lady. But hey! Candy! The woman turned to a giant bowl she had sitting by her door inside, dropping five bars of chocolate into each of the girls' bags. "There you go! Happy Halloween~!" She waved to the two girls as they walked off, looking through what they got.
"Wow! Can we do another?"
"Of course! C'mon, let's see what else we can get."
