x___The Finding Participants: Ianna and Matilda(Kyrianna)
It was morning that they started out again - though it was a morning three days from the said time. Matilda had taken a turn for the worse and Ianna did her best to nurse her back to strength yet again. Finally, she was at least half-way better than she was before.
"Where to now, Matty?" Ianna asked, smoothing her silver hair away from her face. The pearl-winged wand was tucked safely beneath her arm.
"Scandinavia, for the Wyvern..." Matilda answered, straightening herself out a little bit from the hunched position she was in with a wince. Rock was not a good bed.
"Scandinavia eh? Well, I did always say I wanted to see the world...." A sigh, "Lets go."
Using her reserve of energy, Matilda immediately transported them - with a little difficulty - to a rather run down cave.
"A...Cave?"
"Yep. Apparently..."
"It's...Dark."
"Caves are usually dark, mother."
"No s**t," she murmured, rummaging in her pockets for the lighter she had before finding it and flicking it to give a small beam of light.
"You know, you could have just...I don't know, asked me to light something?"
"Shush."
Both women started walking through the cave, Ianna occasionally putting the flame out and letting it cool before starting it up again. She didn't want her hand to explode. "We're not going to find much with this kind of light."
"Again I say..."
"Fine. Light."
"Ask nicely."
"Bugger off."
"Thank you."
And there was light.
Ianna put away her lighter and glared at her daughter. "You're welcome. Now...Where on earth would a Wyvern be hiding...?"
"I don't know, maybe in the back of the cave hoarding his shinies?"
"Now you're sounding like Iamel. Please stop while you're ahead."
Matilda did, indeed, shut up. While she didn't mind the 'boomy birdie of doom', she didn't exactly want to be pegged with sounding like the hyper-active woodpecker. Yes. Yes she did watch.
A glint of red and gold caught Ianna's eye a good while back into the large cave. "Bingo." Came her voice as she rushed ahead, grabbing at the wand. Unfortunately, her attempts to dislodge the piece of gold metal from the boulder-like hands grasping it were...quite impossible.
"Urm. Rocks just don't like me, do they?"
"Does ANYONE like you, mother?"
"...Shut up," Ianna hissed, turning to tug on the wand again, "Why are you being such a b***h today?"
"Oh, I don't know, mother. Maybe it's the fact three pieces of soul just got wrenched from me?"
"Sorry, forgot for the moment."
"Thought so."
Ianna sighed and wiped some sweat from her brow, staring at the stone-carved hands. "It seems as if someone is trying to hold onto it. Maybe magic wo--"
She was promptly cut off by Matilda's sharp command to open, the hands unclenching. The glint of metal started to fall and Ianna had to dive to catch it, scratching herself up - yet again. "Bugger."
Well, two down, one to go.

x__ The Gathering of Women and Wands Participants: Ianna and Coailliann (Kyrianna), Eamane (Eamane), Sibuna and Daemyn (Bloody Anubis), Airaka (Airaka)
Eamane shifted her weight as she peeked her head through the door into the empty headquarters. The little elf sighed and shuffled inside holding her wand tightly in her right hand. She took a moment to survey the building and noted a door that led outside, perhaps to a garden or something of the sort. On a nice day like this if anyone was about it was likely they would be outside...and if she was alone then obviously the idea would come to the next person along as well!
Happy with her logic she made her way outside and took a deep breath of the floral scented air. Perfect, she looked around "hello, is anyone here?"
Ianna was sitting by the fountain, supervising her little girl who was splashing around in the cold water, wearing a little pink bathing suit and floaties. She looked positively adorable - according to Ianna, but then again she was her mother. And biased.
"Having fun there Kay-bear?" she asked, giving a little splash to her daughter, which was returned to her with a loud squeal. She chuckled and looked up, "Oh! Hello. It's been a while...Eamane...right?" she offered a smile, brushing some wet silver hair from her face.
Eamane's eyes lit with recognition as she spotted the silver haired woman, she didn't remember the little girl but that didn't bother the elf who was so busy she could't remember her own name sometimes.
She practically pranced across the thick lawn coming to a stop close to the fountain, "It is indeed, Ianna if I remember correctly" she grinned happily as she gracefully sank to the grass and placed her wand in her lap. "and who is this?" she asked her eyes twinkling as she watched the little girl.
Ianna looked confused for a moment...Wow, it really HAD been a long time if she had come along before Coailiann had, "This is my daughter, Coailiann. She emerged from a wand as well, but she's a toddler now...Isn't that right, Super Kay?"
She used the nickname Malen had come with her, watching the little girl's smile burst out, "Wight!" she nodded her head affirmatively before plopping her rear on the bottom of the fountain, the water shifting its depth so she didn't drown or anything.
Ianna chuckled, "Aye, and I'm Ianna by the way. What brings you here? Wand finally spout?"
Airaka held the wand to her chest, slightly happy it was a weekend so none of her charges needed her at the moment. She slipped inside the headquarters, blinking up at the bells that chimed, announcing her presence. A nervous twitch shook her body as she scanned the area, and after spotting no one, a quick look of worry ran across her eyes. That was until she saw the door way leading to the gardens. It took her a couple seconds, before she shuffled outside. The crimson haired woman spotted the others, and let out a quick breath of relief, while her eyes floated to Coailiann. The girl was bigger now, large since the last she had seen of her. It was quite astonishing to see her. Airaka was standing there, most likely looking silly, as she clutched the golden wand to her, sapphire eyes peering at the women and the baby.
Eamane blinked obviously surprised "oh, she's grown so big!" she clapped her hands excitedly. "And absolutely gorgeous to" She shook her long hair out of her eyes and leaned back on her hands. "And my wand? nothing yet...he isn't dead again is he?" her face suddenly worried.
Eamane glanced up noticing the other woman's movement out of the corner of her eye. She blinked again and smiled. Raising a hand she waved "hello there"
"No, it wouldn't die unless you abandoned it or broke the wand itself..." a beam at the compliment to her daughter, who seemed to like it as well, splashing extra hard in the water, "Yeah...She is. Thank you."
Coailiann echoed her sentiments, "ANK YEEEEE"
Ianna noticed another presence and tilted her head, "Ahh, hello Airaka." Ianna said softly, turning to look at her with a smile, "Haven't seen ya in a bit either..."
Airaka blinked, listening slightly to their conversation. The other woman had to have a wand as well. Her eyes searched for a wand, until she saw the woman and Ianna turn to her. She jerked slightly, her first instinct to hide the wand, when she quickly remembered where she was. There were no antique hunters around who would criticize her for carrying such an item. Airaka grinned weakly, and moved toward the two, giving Ianna a nod in greeting. Dropping one hand which held the wand she, raised the other to the woman speaking with Ianna, 'I'm Airaka. Pleasure to meet you.' She shot a quick grin over at the little toddler, before refocusing on the one whom she had introduced herself to.
Eamane breathed a sigh of relief "oh good...no I havent done anything like that, he must just be shy" she smiled softly and nodded acknowledgment of Ianna's thanks giggling at the toddlers enthusiastic mimic.
The elf watched he other woman approach and continued to smile in a friendly way noting the wand in her hand. She rose effortlessly from her crosslegged position and took the offered hand "Eamane, it is nice to meet you also" her voice lilting slightly with the formal language. She pulled Kiran's wand into view and nodded towards the one in Airaka's hand "You are a guardian as well?"
Airaka shook the hand, before retracting her own sun kissed one, and holding the golden wand protectively in both hands. With a quick nod of her head, Airaka replied, ' Yes, I guess you could call me a guardian.' Her bright eyes lowered to the wand before back up at Eamane with an uneasy grin. She loosened her grip on the wand, and held it sideways across her chest, the light from the sun bouncing off the scarlet jewel surrounded by the metallic dragons. ' Wyvern, I suppose. ' Then she slowly lowered the wand, watching it as she did, before saying, ' It must be a question often asked, but do you know what is contained in your wand?' Her voice was softer, and much more 'antique' then it would be around children, and Airaka seemed slightly on edge like this.
Eamane eyed the pretty wand apprciatively, she liked pretty things and the wyvern's wand was definately beautiful. Her eyes drifted down to where she loosely held her own wand, she had tried to clean it a bit but for some reason it had proven to be futile. She shrugged and lifted the trident, "Ianna said he was a Selkie" she responded brightly, "I didn't know what that was but since I found out that it is a seal person" She grinned.
Ianna listened quietly to the women speaking before she stood up, picking the tiny girl from the fountain and rubbing her. She had noticed the sidhe begin to tire and sighed, "Sorry you two, but I really should get Coailiann into a bed. She's had a busy afternoon and it's past her nap time," she paused and nodded to Eamane, "Aye, a selkie. I hope you get along well!"
With that, the silver haired woman wisked the child off into headquarters.
' A ... seal person?' Airaka blinked. She had no recollection of whatever a selkie might be. It would be interesting to see what the child looked like when it decided to make it's appearance. She gave a good bye wave to Ianna and Coailiann, smiling warmly at the child. Her sapphire eyes then darted back to Eamane. ' Are you nervous? ...' Airaka paused, thinking over the words that had just blurted from her mouth, and sighed on the inside. ' I mean, are you nervous now that you know that you will soon be a mother.' She coiled her fidgety sunkissed fingers around the wand in some way, then raised her lowered eyes back up to the woman opposite of her, a soft childish blush shining pink from her face.
Eamane smiled softly, her height made her appear much younger than she was, "I'm always a little nervous when i get ready for a new arrival but once they finally get here it goes away immediately" She tilted her head to the side and surveyed the woman in front of her. She seemed overly nervous, perhaps she was a recluse? That would be interesting "And there is no need to appologize...is this your first charge then?"
Eamane gracefully lowered herself to the ground again and patted the grass beside her inviting Airaka to join her. She set the trident in the sun beside her full skirt.
Airaka smiled weakly, and with a quick nod of her head, followed Eamane to the ground, jeans wrinkling with her movements. Her wand was still clutched in her hands, yet slightly less clung to. She blinked down from the wand, and nodded her head. ' Yes, my first child. Never had one before. Yet I must say I've thought of it, never thought the whole thing would be placed in action.' Her smile became less shy, and she grinned up at her fellow wand wielder. ' You've had more than one, eh? I wonder how many of the others have had more than one child...' Her last sentence came out as more of a murmur, her thoughts coming out in words. Puzzlement could be read on her face for a couple seconds after, then she sighed, and nodded her head, seemingly agreeing with whatever she had spoken within her mind. She turned back to Eamane, the smile back on her face. ' I am awfully nervous.'
Eamane sighed and with a dreamy expression gazed up at the bright sky. "I have had many children...well actually I've only had one, the rest were adopted but it doesn't change how you feel about each new arrival" She grinned and turned back to Airaka "I think you're going to do fine, you seem so gentle and kind"
Her thoughts turned to the other guardians, how many were there anyways? "I haven't met anyone else really, I got a glance at one and of course Ianna"
First child? A pair of soft grey eyes centered themselves on Airaka with a sort of mild curiosity, as well as a muddled sense of delight.
'Eavesdroppin' dun build character.'
Her thoughts were broken by a miniscule tug at her sleeve. If she had so chosen, she could have just pretended she didn't feel it. She ran her fingers through the boy's silvery hair instead, reassuring him that she'd get to him in a moment. Daemyn shuffled his feet restlessly, though for Sibuna he'd keep his complaints quiet. The Stick was getting way too annoying for him to carry, and now that she was out of work...
" 'scuse us." Sibuna passed the two women a apologetic smile, preparing to make her way across the garden with her other child in tow. However, Daemyn paused. Curious little boy he was, with blackened skin and even darker eyes. Though, the most prominent feature about him had to be his ears, which were about the size of a foot in length and pointed at the end. These twitched now, as if sucking up the conversation. Sibuna gave him a questioning brow.
"Why can't we stop here?" He questioned, leaning against the large wand that was to be his new sibling. "Nice an' sunny."
"People are talking here." Sibuna gave him a little pat on the head, a patient one. "Here, let me take the wand now."
Airaka placed a hand behind her head, and blushed slightly at Eamane's last comment. Gentle, and kind. She wondered what the woman would think of her if she had know her while she was younger. Her eyes flicked to the foliage, then back to Eamane, thinking over her latest comment. 'I've only met Ianna.... And you, I guess.' Her eyes dashed away from Eamane, and blinked at the woman who just walked past the two of them. She grinned at the little boy childishly, and look a quick look at the wooden wand. 'Oh?' Airaka's small question came out in a quickly disappearing breath, and her sapphire eyes moved from Eamane, to the child, to the woman, then to her wand, where her she lingered for a second before lowering to her wand. Her fingers curled around the wand once again, the raised her head eying the woman.
Daemyn let the wand slip from his fingers, straightening himself up somewhat as the woman passed him a grin. He blinked quietly, but was quick to reflect the expression. "Sibby, she's got one too."
"Hm?" Sibuna's lips stretched, giving off a warm smile towards Airaka and Eamane, though her eyes focused on the one making the most action at the moment. "Oh! Well would you look at that? What color would you say that was, hmm?"
Clearly it was to the boy, because he immediately furrowed his brows. "...yellow?"
"There's a better word than that."
"Mnngh." Daemyn snatched at one of his ears, pulling it at the lobe as he tried to think it over. In the meantime, Sibuna gently shouldered her wand, making it seem like some sort of club now.
"You're the second one I've seen with a wand." All the others had children. "Did Miss Ianna, 'scuse me for pryin', tell you what sort of child was to come out of it?"
Airaka caught their small discussion, feeling suddenly very nervous as they talked over her and the wand. Her face was tinged slightly the same colour of her hair, and she gave a slight twitch. The blue eyes darted away from them, to one of her feet that were set to the out side of her cross legged sit. When the question was asked of the wand, she raised her head, and tilted it slightly, a sort of dog like look. She pondered over the question, seemingly have forgotten it, before she blinked, and muttered the answer that was beating on her brain since the time the question was asked. 'A wyvern. Ianna said that the soul possessed within this wand is that of a wyvern.' Twas all she knew, and even that made her head ache at the thought. So much confusion and thoughts that opposed each other were constantly ramming around in her head. A slight smile was worn on her face, yet it didn't show much emotion.
"Why...vern?" Sibuna chewed her lip as she sounded it out. It didn't help her understanding at all. Maybe she should have gotten into all that mystical hoo-ha while trying to research what the heck a dryad was. Though she didn't know exactly what this why-vern was, she wasn't about to let on any more about it.
'Issa serpent.' Volunteered that little voice. 'Ooooh, chile! Best keep 'way from that sorta thang.'
"Gold?" Questioned Daemyn, looking up at Sibuna.
"Huh?"
"The stick... Gold, right? Or geld..." He trailed off, yanking at his ear again.
"Ah! Yes. Very good, Daemyn! Um.." She forced a smile towards the lady. "I'm Sibuna, and I have a dryad of sorts... Like a woodland nymph? I only got it not too long ago. How long have you had yours?"
Airaka nodded her head, feeling more under pressure then when it was just her and Eamane. What was this woman doing her anyway? It wasn't everyday someone appeared from the foliage. Airaka felt lucky the woman had walked out like she did, instead of attempting to scare them. She could see herself bouncing into the air with a screech. Wincing at her own thoughts, she slowly brought her mind back to reality, and focused on the boy, who had just spoken. Her eyes flicked between the two with their little conversation, and when Sibuna started speaking directly at her, Airaka flashed a weak smile in retaliation to the other woman's fake one. She didn't know much of mythology, it wasn't her strong point. Yet she was one for fairy tales. When Sibuna mentioned ''nymph'' she grinned slightly, and sighed inwardly, happy she could actually recognize one of the wands. Sorta. ' Airaka. And, I got my wand a while back, as well. But not too long ago.'
"Ah, so.. we seem to be at the same stage." She breathed something of relief, glancing to her wand. She had originally thought she'd been doing something wrong with it. Of course, the thought never crossed her mind that this other woman(girl?) could be doing something wrong as well.
"Nice to make your acquaintance." Sibuna offered, observing with idle interest as this other girl winced. Ah. Maybe she was feeling as awkward as the waitress herself was. However, with the grin had come a loosening of muscles that bunched in the back of her neck. Her large lips pressed themselves together and returned the smile. A much more comfortable one, of course. "Can I ask you a silly question?"
Airaka's blue eyes floated back over to the wand, as she listened to Sibuna's statements. The woman's thoughts were faintly focused on Sibuna, more focused on the wand, wondering what they would look like when they finally spouted from their wands. Her fingers coiled once more around the wyvern wand, before she moved her eyes back over to Sibuna. With a shrug of her shoulders, she mustered, 'I don't mind. Ask away.' Children usually blurted out their questions, not seeming to care if they were rude or not, so Sibuna's statement surprised her slightly.
"What... do you do with your wand? I mean, do you carry it around with you everywhere or do you just bring it here? And when you're at home do you talk to it?" Because she was /just/ asking. Sure, children liked to go ahead and blurt out her questions, but technically Sibuna was no child. She was twenty three. Chances were, she was older than a good bit of the owners here.
Airaka blinked at the question, fiddling with it in her mind. She then parted her lips in a slight smile, before letting the words issue from her mouth, ' I do carry the wand around everywhere. Although, most of the time it is hidden my bag. I've never really came her before, so I can't really say I only bring it here. I doubt I would anyway. It goes everywhere with me. Even to the school where I work.' She pondered a bit on the last question before shaking her head, 'I've never really thought to speak with it.' She fingered the wand before starting again, 'The children I baby sit enjoy playing with it. I don't think they understand. But then again, neither do I. ' Airaka blushed slightly and dragged her self to her feet. She dusted herself off, and stood facing Sibuna. 'I really don't know much about these guys.' "You teach?" Sibuna asked, her soft gray eyes quietly taking in Airaka's looks before her gaze flickered to her own wand. Airaka didn't remind her of a school teacher. Then again, Sibuna might as well have belonged to an Amish county with all the mean-faced school marms whose weapon of choice was always a strong hickory stick. "Mine is... a little large, but I carry it to work as well." She laughed softly. "Well, Daemyn here does. No one asks a child their motives while they're alongside an adult."
"Ah, well we have that in common. I'm starting to think I'm doing something wrong," She confessed, one of her fingers absently stroking a petal of one of the wand's many white flowers. "I plan to go to the library soon as I can get off work. I'm on lunch right now." She shifted her wrist to check the time. A watch was one of the only things she tolerated. She wouldn't very well wear a sundial on her wrist, could she? "I expect I'll treat it like a child, though, whatever comes out. An' if anyone at work says different... well, I'll deal with it. It was a nymph to begin with, though. How much mo' human can you get?"
"No.. Not really... I have a teaching degree, and a math degree... but I'm a counsellor. The school is an Elementry and Jr.High." Airaka gave Sibuna a grin, finding the woman more comfortable now. Here eyes moved to Daemyn as his name was mentioned, then back to Sibuna with a nod. "The library seems like a good idea. I didn't know they had one. Then again, I never thought to look. " Airaka nodded again, finding it slightly difficult to inderstand the womans accent. She grinned, and said, "A child is a child, no matter how they look, or how they act. These children deserve to be treated like what they are, children." Even if they sprouted wings, had tails, or magical powers.
"Yuh huh. I saw one out near the lobby there. Didn't really look, either... but I there's books just linin' the walls out there." Yes, sometimes she did slip. The voice -her conscience- was much worse, though. "That's real interesting! So you interact with children every day? Best I got under my belt is five brothers and a sick big sister."
She looked thoughtful for a minute, clearing her throat so her accent was sorted out in the next sentence. "I agree whole-heartedly with you. It's not their fault if society doesn't like them. It's really not society's opinion that counts. What matters earlier on is how I'm going to be raising it, and I plan to give it as much love and care as if God had set it right in my belly." She reached out as she said so, setting her hand firmly on Daemyn's shoulder. He was definitely not her biological son with those long ears, black skin, and white hair. Still, he shuffled quietly closer to her, one of his hands gripping the hem of her shirt as if reassuringly.
The serious Sibuna faded away quickly, giving Airaka a warm smile. "I'll love them no matter what." Even if they did spazz out and nearly tear down the walls. Or take hours on end to find if they didn't want to be found. "Would you like a peppermint?" She had a whole bunch of them in her apron.
Airaka nodded her head, and cocked an eyebrow at the comment about siblings. Six was an amazing number, three ... no two... was enough for her. She resist the urge to roll her eyes, when Sibuna commented about 'God'. Instead, she grinned, "Exactly." She was getting giddy about all this child talk, "It'll be amazing, whatever we get. Child wise, that is." She nodded again, confidently, but paused at the offering of the peppermint. "No.. No. Thanks, though."
Of course it was a ridiculous amount. Couldn't one get a brief idea why God was used so much in that house? "You think so? Well, they are...um.. souls come back from beyond? Issat it? That's pretty amazing by itself."
She checked her watch again, 'hmm'ing softly before she glanced back up to Airaka. "Well it's been a pleasure meeting you Miss Airaka, but I must be off to work again. Hopefully the next time we meet, we'll be able to show each-other a couple of infants, hmm?
"Yes souls from the past come to live again. Amazing." And yet magic. Which was sickening. Airaka tilted hr head as the woman peered at her watch again, then nodded her head. "Of course. It'd be great to see you again. Have fun at work! " She said the last sentance with a large smile, and gave Sibuna a bow of her head.

x__ The Kitsune Parcipants: Airaka (Airaka), Coailiann (Ianna), Patrick and Yashima (nozomi_ga_kanau) "We're gonna go see Ianna and Coailiann and all them, baby~ Aren't you excited? Oh yes you are." Patrick was gushing over Yashima - who had learned how to stand!
Oh, Yashi couldn't stand for more then a few seconds and had to be holding something, but he was standing all the same! Well...not right now. At that moment, he was clutching onto his daddys blue shirt, wide golden eyes watching as people passed them as the duo made their way to the Wand Shoppe.
"Ianna?" His voice carried, nudging the door open with his hip slightly. "Anyone? Helllllo~? I come bearing a fox-kit!"
"Gabah." Yashima agreed gravely, tail flicking slightly.Ianna, being the freak she was, was actuallytrying to cook. When she had a magic refridgerator to do everything FOR her. Maybe Malen's jibes about her lack of cooking abilities had finally gotten to her.
Or maybe she needed a distraction from Coailiann's mad-woman stunts going on in the living room. Oh yeah, she was trying to walk again - and it was NOT going very well.
In fact, several things were turned over and the entire lobby was a mess from her frustration.
Coailiann certainly did not like being slower than the other children. Or smaller - because damned if she wasn't smaller than other human children she'd seen. The fact she wasn't human didn't seem to bother her.
It was the fact they could do something she could not. When SHE was supposed to do everything better than everyone else, damnit!
At the sound of Patrick's voice, Coailiann plopped on her rear infront of the door. Maybe Yashima had come with him! That would be great - because lord knows HE couldn't walk either.
And that would make Kay silently glee inside, "Trick?!" Poor Ianna! Patrick could whip up something nice and yummy. He was awesome at making steak (despite being mainly vegetarian) and he wasn't too bad with other things either.
He grinned when he heard Coailianns voice, glancing down to lok at the girl with something akin to amusement. "Hey there, beautiful." The dark man went to his knees to be almost face-to-face with the toddler, free hand reaching out to give her head a fond, gentle pat. "What've you been up to?"
Ah ha! Yashima knew this one! He knew the light-haired girlie-pie, yes, yes he did! One hand twisted into a fist, shoving the round nodule into his gummy mouth to suck at, other hand reaching out for Coailiann in a mockery of his fathers actions as well.
Girlthing. His voice was small, still a whisper in her head, but he was learning. So could Malen. Ianna was tired of being the brunt of said jokes, though, and wanted to do it herself. Unfortunately the silver hair woman had problems boiling water - which said a lot.
"Walk," she said, nodding her head as she smiled brightly at the colorful man. He was one of her favorite people - which meant a lot coming from the little white-haired princess. She was VERY picky.
Then again, if you gave her an apple you were automatically in her golden book. But apples were a different story.
AND HE HAD BROUGHT YASHIMA! That alone earned him a golden star in her mental star-calander-thing.
"Shima!" she giggled and reached out to pet his hand, giving a bounce on her diapered bottom.
Boything, I got bigger! Pretty? Okay, so Coailiann had a bit of a vain streak going - but who wouldn't when everyone fawned over you all the time?Patrick smiled right back, dark and bejeweled fingers twisting and tugging very gently at the soft silver strands with a chuckle. "You're learning to? That's fantastic, baby! Once you learn, you don't go back."
A quick wink and Yashima was put down gently with the bigger girl. "You'll watching him for a second, baby? I'm going to go find your momma."
Oh yeah. He had faith that Yashima wouldn't do anything stupid and that Coailiann would alert him if anything happened. The fox kit reached with his un-wet hand to pet at Coailianns light hair, lips peeling into a quiet smile - a rare expression - around his fist.
Soft, he agreed, continuing to pat at the girl, Shiny. Pretty.Coailiann was being given responsibility? Was that even a smart thing to do? Her chest puffed up at it and she smiled, charmingly, "Otay! I watch!"
Something about how she said it though would probably put Patrick on guard. Sure, Kay would never HURT her best friend, but she did like to get into trouble. And Kay trouble was the worst kind of trouble of all, right? Right. Because she was better than everyone else.
Coailiann stroked at him in return, crawling closer and pressing a sweet little kiss to his cheek, Thank you, boy thing. You got shinies in your ears!
She didn't. Why did HE get to when SHE didn't? SHE wanted shinies too! Coailiann ALMOST started to complain and whine until Ianna agreed - but she didn't. She simply continued to pet at Yashi and play with his hair.
She'd be a good girl. For now. Of course it was a smart thing! Patrick knew that if anything went awry, he'd hear something from Yashima... eventually.
At the mention of the sparklies in his head, that cute little smile twisted into a little frown. Made me. Hurt. He nodded and actually allowed the kiss to his cheek. He let her put her lips on his flesh! Consider it a giant leap. All have it... at home. Shiny like daddy.
When Coailiann continued pet, Yashima arched his head as best as a baby could, leaning into her hand with a muted purr down in the depth of his throat. Pets....Hurts are bad... the little girl nodded her head and rested her head on his shoulder, yawning quietly. It seemed all the destruction she had caused wore her out. But that was okay! Yashi!Pillows were all the rage with Coailiann.
He was comfy.
Yashi likes pets? I keep doing then. with another confirmation-nod, she continued to stroke at her friend's head, How is rat-thing? Hope he bad. Bad He agreed, letting his fist pop out of his mouth with a soft, wet sound. Soft and wet or not, Yashima snuggled against the little sidhe, nose wrinkling up and pressing against the soft silvery hair he so liked.
Yashima had no way of knowing most of his hair was much the same color. The pets made his own eyes close, leaning back into her in a pile of cute baby-ness, tail shifting to wind around her with a murmur. Can talk now. An' walk. He bites.Coailiann was actually content - which was a good thing. When Kay was happy, the entire house was happy. Because that meant that there would be no fast-flying projectile objects going at your head.
Carefully her hand stroked his tail - VERY VERY VERY softly - remembering the last time. Hopefully it'd just make the fox happy instead of paining him - because she LIKED that tail. It was soft. And Fuzzy.
And and and...BLUE! She liked blue. The red head moved cautiously toward the shop, both hands clutching her large bag, which her little wand was in, one which was on the actual bag part, while the other was holding the strap around her shoulder. Airaka found herself awfully lucky, with parent teacher interviews going on at the school where she worked. Which meant that the parents of the children she baby sat for took a couple nights off to see how bad their children were at school, leaving her afternoons open for a while. As she pushed the door open, she glance about the area, only to find two small children infront of her. Although her eyes widened slightly, both with the surprise that there were children and that they were left alone, a small grin came to her face. She could recognize one of them, Coailiann, whom she had met when she first came to the area. Her and the boy seemed to be cuddling so charmingly. It was so cute!Yashima indeed went tense as her hand descended upon his tail but... it didn't hurt? It had been so long since anyone had tried that he hadn't the nerves finally getting used to the outside world... And it felt nice! Better then pets!
He murred quite happily, fingers flexing a bit and nearly going limp - which was bad. Where Coailiann was smaller then most babies, Yshima was a rather decent size - he was going to be taller when he got older.
"I'll see who's at the door, Ianna!" The voice carried, Patrick appearing in the doorway from the back rooms, eyebrows quirking into a faint grin. "Hello there."Satisfied that the petting didn't hurt him she continued to do it, despite the fact he was relaxing against her. He was roughly the same size as her - despite her being the older of the two.
Not that she cared. She still thought she could do anything she wanted - including taking his weight if he went limp.
Comfy?
Coailiann didn't pay any attention to the new comer. She was new and she didn't really care about much other than her fluffy friend right now. She was too content to pay her any mind. Her eyes flicked up from the children to where she heard the call from and landed on the colourful man that stood before her. She bit her bottom lip, and moved closer to the door as if an instant reaction. Then she mustered up enough courage to bow her head, and enough voice to speak, "Hi." She lifted her head from her feet, and pulled out the golden wand from her bag, holding it out in a horizontal fashion. It was a simple explanation to why she was here, which would most likely be the next question, and she didn't have to speak. Which is often better for the woman. Mmm That was all the response Coaliann would get out of him. Yashima was just a baby... an infant still! He got tired easily.
But then the woman came in - with a wand? Not a girl wand - a boy aura! It wasn't a scary type of girl either...she was quiet! The golden eyes fluttered open, hands tightening on Coailiann as he glanced up, tail flicking slightly. "Bogah."
The word was said as soft as her voice had been, a sticky finger pointing towards her. Patrick just smiled back at the woman, giving her an elaborate bow. "And you must be another Gaurdian for the spawns! Come inside. Ianna's busy, so I'm going to play host. Would you like anything to drink? Eat? Any children you need me to terrorize?"Airaka blinked at Patrick, and all of his sudden words, or atleast they were sudden to her. The bit about terrozing children made her grin, although it was maybe something someone with her job shouldn't find all that funny. She shook her head, and glaced back down at the children, focusing slighly on the one with the golden eyes. 'I'm Airaka.' she muttered, as she moved further into the area. She dropped her hand holding the wand from its odd position, and grabbed it with both her hands at her stomache.Coailiann's bright green eyes moved to Patrick. She knew Patrick - she'd pay Patrick time of day, "Trick! Up?" she wanted hugs and cuddles and attention. ATTENTION was good.
And while she was getting some from Yashima, she would get more from the big shiny man. Because he called her beautiful and made her smile! Yes, yes he did, "UP!" "Airaka? That's a nice name - Princess, just a second! I'm being nice to someone!" That last part was directed to the young lady snuggling against his son, scant seconds before Patrick dipped down to scoop up both of the children.
"Have you met the podlings of the wand shoppe yet, Airaka? The demanding little princess is Coailiann, the most adorable baby in the land-" Coailiann got a brilliant smootch, right on the cheek!, "And the quiet one is my personal wandie-boy, Yashima, the handsomist fox in the land! Aren't you, Yashi?"
Yashima just squirmed slightly, to make himself more comfortable. Patrick was gifted with a glance or two before that little hand moved toward Airaka once more. Fingers flexed in a clear 'gimme gimme!' motion towards her wand. "Boogah."Yay! Attention! From her favorite-ist big-thing! What could be better? Sure she liked Malen and she tolerated her mother, but Patrick was shiny. And loud. And happy. And and and and...He was complimenting her!
"Yeah!" she giggled happily and patted at his cheeks, snuggling close to him and sticking a thumb in her mouth. She tasted good - but not as good as Malum.
Thinking of Malum, where WAS That little brat child? She wanted another playmate!Although his complement made her feel funny, the colourful man seemed awfully sweet with the children. She nodded at Coailiann, then directed her attention to Yashima. When the man before her told her of his relation to the boy, she blinked back up at him. The roster and Ianna. They had both told of a man whose child was already out of his wand. Could it be ... 'Are... Are you Patrick?' Asking someone if she had stated their name right felt even funnier then the comment. When 'grabby-hands' Yashima made caught her attention, she looked down toward her wand, and tensed slightly. She strengthened her grip on her wand, then look up to Patrick, looking for an answer. "Eh? You've heard of me?" He blinked a few times before breaking into a grin, giving another little grin - and blowing a kiss against Coailianns cheek. Patrick was in a good mood today - hormones and all.
"I'm Patrick, alright. Who told you about me? Ianna?" Heavily pierced eyebrows arched with a slow grin, bouncing Yashima quietly. "And it looks like you have yourself a boy wand there too! Much luck with those little monsters. I think the boys are quiet," Nodding to Yashima, "And the girls...."
Patrick glanced at Coailiann, lips quirking into a grin, "Not so much."Coailiann beamed at Patrick and then looked over to Yashi, You like me, right?
She was a girl! Actually, she was more than just a girl. She was a princess. And Princesses had to be loved, right? Kay wasn't satisfied with just one or two people loving her. EVERYONE had to, or she wasn't a very good princess.
"Trick! Love!" she smiled charmingly back up at the older man, wanting more kisses and love.'Her and the roster.' Airaka's voice was tad more cheerful, but still with that hint of startchy hushedness. Her eyes widened slightly, and jerked one of her hands off of her wand, holding it more weakly. 'How do you know that... That the wand is a boy, not about the girls being loud thing or the boys being quiet. Although that last statement is questionable....' Her voice trailed off, sounding weaker the further into her speech she came. She coughed slightly, and gave Patrick a apprehensive grin. It gradually occured to her that talking about inatimate objects having genders was bizarre, but she quickly forgot about it, noting how this whole thing was curious. "Because Yashi usually gets upset when a girl wand is about?" He offered, shoulders rising in a shrug, "Or he'd at least ignore it instead of wanting to hold it. So it's a boy."
It was all very matter-of-fact to the scientest, glancing down at the demanding toddler and giving her two more sloppy kisses on each cheek. Then his attention went back to Airaka. "What is it, do you know? We have a sidhe and a kitsune... There's a drow wandering around, and I think something to do with matches?"
Yashima studied Coailiann carefully before giving her head a little pat. Uh-huh.Good, cuz I like you too. Coailiann was very rarely nice to people - so when she was, it was quite a miracle. Considering she liked Patrick and Yashima and even Malum and Levis...The chances of her extending her grace to the woman in the room was slim to none.
Which is why, currently, she was ignoring the daylight out of Airaka. She had enough friends, right now.
Actually, it didn't make sense. She wanted to be loved by everyone, and...Eh, her mind worked weird, "ANKEEEEE!"Airaka blinked, finding that it, oddly enough, made sense. Or it would. She raised the wand slightly toward the two, with a happy smile. If they wished to look, she guessed it would be find. Just as long as they didn't try anything to hurt her wand baby. Her grip on the lower part of the wand could still be noted as fairly tight. 'It... He is a wyvern. I don't know if it has anything to do with matches.' Sidhe, kitsune, drow. Oh, they all struck some bit of here, but she couldn't list off on fact from the top of her head. She definitely needed to look up some things. Why he mentioned matches was a general confusion to her, but she didn't dare want to question it. She raised an eyebrow at Coailiann and took a half step back. "A wyvern? A ground based dragon type thing?" His eyebrows furrowed slightly - only to be interrupted by Coailianns shrill shriek.
Patrick jumped about a foot in the air, gasping and tightening his grasp on the children. "JESUS! Coailiann! Don't SCREAM like that!" His voice was almost harsh, but firm... He was used to dealing with kids like Akilah, who refused to like his lover. Dumb kids.
Even Yashima looked startled, clutching onto Patrick. The fact that Patrick jumped and she hadn't surprised her more then the child. She was often one of those who could be easily surprised, then again, she was often set with children who could explode at any moment. And then, her tone was often kinder then the one that Patrick was using. Lowering her wand hand, she opened her mouth as if to speak with the child, but her speech was directed to the man, 'She is alright, eh? Is that ... normal of her?' Airaka then remembered of the wyvern comment before, and after pondering slightly on it, she muttered, 'I don't know, really. The only thing I really know about dragons is the stuff in story books.' "Well, one of the girls who has a wand - the drow wand - she's a folklorist." He smiled again, now that Coailiann had FINALLY shut up - she'd fallen asleep, like a goodgirl. Patrick shifted both children - sleeping or dozing - onto the floor, where they soon curled around each other in a childish ball.
"You could maybe ask her. I have her number... not with me." Patrick made a face, tugging Yashima up and against him, cradling him close. "But we have to be going.. He's about to conk out and I have six other little brats to take care of at home."Airaka nodded her head, and stepped out of the way for Patrick. 'That would be intresting. I guess I'd like to meet her.' Of course her wavering voice didn't seem to sure of that fact. She grinned at him, 'I'd like to you and Yashima again, too. And good luck with you "brats".' She transfered the wand back and forth, a fidgety movement, before tucking it back in her bag. When he left, she would follow, finding it more polite to leave after the colourful man. "We'd like to see you again too! When your sprogglet appears, be sure to look me up. Yashima needs more friends he's not scared of." Patrick grinned and, cuddling his son close, ducked out of the wand shoppe and went towards his own home... Time for someones nap.Airaka eyed the sleeping Coailiann for a second longer, before following Patrick out, her red hair brushing into her face with the sudden air that blew past her when she opened the door. She was kind of tired at the moment. As she dragged herself outside and readjusted the bag on her shoulder, she decided that she be taking a nice long ... nap.

x__ Log-Airaka
As Ianna informed me, there are others who have wands. I’ve met a couple, Sibuna, Eamane, and Patrick. Eamane and Sibuna wands were at the same stage as mine wand is. Though Patrick’s wand has evolved thoroughly into a baby, much like Coaliann.
While I say much like Coaliann, Patrick’s wand child is, in a way, the opposite of Coailiann. Personality wise, and appearance wise. Coaliann is fairly human looking, while Yashima, Patrick’s child, has fox ears and a fox tail.
I believe, with the child of my wand being a wyvern, he’ll be very different from the look of a human, if Yashima is any show. Will he have a tail, or wings? Or will he trick me and not wield any taints.
He… Yes. The child of my wand is a he. I learned this from Yashima. Supposedly Yashima can tell what the genders are. I guess the wands give off a sort of magical aura. I have felt it before, though only when I’m not paying attention.
I wonder what it is dragons enjoy. I believe I will need to get him some toys, or something. Then again, he’s not truly a dragon. Is there a great difference between dragons and wyverns? I will need to figure this out somehow. I will need to speak with Krisalynn.

x__ The Wisp Participants: Airaka (Airaka)
Airaka murmured something undefinable , as she rubbed her eye with the back of her hand, sapphire eyes clenched shut. Her eye hurt, actually everything hurt today. She didn't know why, nor did she really care. At the moment, she had six kids running around her house, food in the oven, and a ringing phone. She pulled herself to her feet from the kitchen table, and started downstairs, towards shouting voices. In one hand, she clenched the golden item, something that would be loved by any museum goer. As she entered the playroom, both of her legs were immediately clung to by two of the younger ones. She raised an eyebrow at the two of them, before raising her eyes to the other four who seemed to be locked in a heated battle. All four of them turned to her, and started speaking, all at the same time, all in loud demanding voices, all of them blaming one another. It had beautiful features, dragons carved off it's side, a great red spheric jewel set before the dragon's eyes. Airaka just stood there, attempting to decipher what each was saying until one figured out the only way they would get a response from her is if they all stayed silent. It was the second oldest boy who figured it out first, stopping mid-shout, and just sort of blinking dumbly. The rest followed after him, and Airaka rose her empty hand. One finger popped up, and she lowered it, pointing it to the boy who was silent first. Furthermore, the golden wand was twitching. Squirming with obvious furiousness . Airaka's attention was focused only on the children. She had figured out the problem in a matter of minutes, and had fixed it the best she could. Most of the children were watching television, while the one had lost had run outside. As soon as she was sure the ones at the TV were safe enough, she started outside. There the child was knelt down, gazing at the grass. 'It rained' the boy muttered. The wand, now with a quaint gender, was craving attention, something it seemed his guardian had given to someone else. Airaka nodded her head, 'Earth and water makes mud.' He grinned at her and got to his feet, pointing at the mud in the empty flower garden of him. 'Mud pies.' She giggled, and shook her head, holding the door open and ushering him indoors. He quickly raced inside and down the stairs to his friends. The twitching became quicker, exaggerated, and much more violent. She sneezed, bringing both of her hands to her mouth, which caused the door to shut, and the wand to drop to the ground. Her eyes widened, and she scolded herself as she knelt down to pick up the wand. Then she noticed the wand's spasms. If her eyes could widen anymore they would fall right out of her head. She snatched the wand off the ground holding it in both wands. The wand finally had the attention it wanted. The shaking continued of course, seemingly more desperate. Airaka got to her feet again, cursing her sneeze, and wondering desperately what was going on. Was her wand going to blow up? Did they normally do that? Was it even normal for them to shake? She knew it wasn't normal for them to be alive again. Or was it? Damn, she was panicking! 'Oh, common 'lil guy! Don't die on me! Don't die again!' It was time. He believed that she was ready! So here he came! Over and out! A wisp flew rather quickly from the tip of the wand, and Airaka screeched. Her hands were thrown up in the air, and she only just caught the wand on it's way to the earth. In seconds flat the children were behind her, asking her what happened. Raising the wand hand, to the back of her head she grinned at the children. Their eyes flicked from her to the wispy wand above her head, and she lowered it. 'Is that your kid?' 'Think so...' '... Alright then...' The children started back down the stairs, and Airaka sighed, a happy sigh. She sat down on the cold stone ground, and started speaking to the wisp, something she had never done before.

Welcome Airaka Make yourself necessary to somebody. Do not make life hard to any. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882) Mood: Not the greatest
Sari seems to grumpy, overall so, not just at me. When she came to the door it was obvious so. I think may be lonely. She asked if she could play with 'G', and I was a willing pawn, letting her do so. 'G' has wisped. He. 'G' is a 'he'. I keep having to remind myself of that. It is wonderful to know something more about him other then the fact that he is a wyvern reincarnated. And his name will most definitely not be 'G' once he comes forth from the wand. I wonder if Matlida knows. I wish to meet her. I met another man, who I can't say was as enjoyable as Patrick. He had a succubus baby ghost, the next 'stage' that 'G' will go through. Malen wore a collar to protect himself from his child. Furthermore, I accidentally made the man uncomfortable by priding myself. I honestly don't know what to think of him; I didn't give him enough time. He is Ianna's boy friend, a bounty hunter. Not that I know much of what a bounty hunter is. I can't say I wish to meet him again, that, and I fear for my wyvern wisp. He is male, whilist Kishi is female. Not much good can really come of that. When I attempt to use psychology on myself, I just seem to continue myself even more. As for my feelings on the wisp, I can't wait for him to come out. For his body to materialize. I want to hold him. Oh it'll be so wonderful to have a child of my own! I hope to see you soon, my dear!
Good day ~ Airaka

x__ The Two-Moons and the Thunderbird Participants: Sarah (Ursha Bunny), Airaka and Sari (Airaka)
It was the second day in a row Airaka had come to the Wand Shoppe, pausing only briefly there before skittering off to the head quarters. This time, along with the wand, came Sari, her second eldest baby sitting charge, who wasn't all that happy. Airaka had decided to take the girl to the head quarters. There was some surprise as Sari gazed about the room, but all in all, her sadness remained, and she slumped over to the couch. Airaka sighed heavily, and sat down next to her as the girl started flicking through the channels. The whitish wisp floated about Airaka paying little or no attention to her charge.
How strange it was, this twist that fate had thrown her. Sarah Two-moons had avoided the headquarters for some time after the gifting of her wand, afraid that to re-visit the place that seemed so much like a dream would spoil her current state of reality.
Her urge to verify that she was not delusional made her mind ache. It was not until she could bear it no longer that Sarah Two-moons found herself re-tracing her steps to that dusty shop, and the wonders that lay hidden behind it.
As soon as she stepped through the doors, Sarah knew that there was no way she had imagined everything - all was exactly as she had remembered it, and once more, there was another woman there with a wand, a strange misty substance issuing from it.
Sarah Two-moons couldn't help it, but her jaw dropped.
The red head didn't know whether to find herself lucky that she looked over her shoulder or not. It took her a second to get over the fact that someone had just materialized in the head quarters, when she did, she flashed a shy smile at the woman. Getting to her feet so to make a proper greeting, she tightened her grip on the wand, the wisp obviously would have put up some sort of fight had he been able to, and moved towards the woman with her soft steps. Sari glanced from where Airaka had been sitting before, to where Airaka was now, to the other woman in the area, before she dragged her eyes back to the television. Airaka held out her open hand, and gave the woman opposite her another sweet grin, '' Hello. I'm Airaka.'' She seemed to be able to ignore the dropped jaw, although it made her slightly uncomfortable. Airaka shifted absentmindedly, as the wisp floated about her head.
"Oh... uh... thunderbird." Sarah replied, smiling to herself in amusement that the other woman's confession was so casual. She wondered why she had avoided the place, and felt a bit more at ease now that she had someone going through the same ordeal to speak to.
"Its my first trip back..." Sarah ventured. "I'd been wondering if I dreamed this whole thing. But here you are... and here this place is."
Once again, she had no idea what kind of creature inhabited the wand. Mythology definitely wasn't her strong point. Airaka was more startled at the fact that one could think this as a dream, then peeved at herself for not yet studying up on folklore. Never for a second had it occurred to her that she could be making something so elaborate up. Furthermore, the wand felt to real, to full of life, to actually be her imagination. She shook her head, crimson locks bouncing with her movement, '' Oh it's absolutely not a dream. There are others, more then just I. I'm guessing you already met Ianna. She had a wand that turned into a baby, as did Patrick's. ''
"Patrick?" Sarah asked, glancing to the wand, as if to ask if the floating whisp was the namesake.
"Did you find it at all difficult to comprehend all of... this... Airaka? It defies all logic, and for me... well..." she glanced downward, looking embarassed. She clutched her wand tighter, and stroked the smooth surface briefly, almost apologeticly.
Airaka's face flew up in blush as she saw Sarah's eyes travel to the wand, '' Oh... no... He isn't Patrick. Patrick is another guardian. We call him,'' she muttered with a half motion in the direction of the wisp, '' 'G', until I really figure out his real name.'' She blinked at the second question, pondering it over before she felt she had answer to the inquiry, '' I .. guess so... But after a while you have to accept it. I know it seems really strange an' all, but magic is like that. Almost inexplainable.''
"G, hmmm..." Sarah smiled, and inwardly thought that the name was strange. "Does G stand for anything?"
She was glad to hear that someone else had had a bit of trouble adapting. Magic was the word that she had used. Yes, it was magic wasn't it? She smiled more brightly at her inward musings and clutched her wand tighter.
Airaka raised a sun kissed finger to her chin, paused, the shook her head, '' I don't think so. The kids that I baby sit named it. It's just a nick name till we know his real name. I doubt it'll stick.'' The whole name thing was awkward and embarrassing, as the twenty-four year old lowered her one hand again, pulling it across her chest, holding on to her other arm. She inattentively raised the tips of her toes, balancing on her heels, as she contemplated over what a name her wyvern boy could have. '' We sure have gotten ourselves into something really different...'' she muttered with a grin toward Sarah.
Sarah laughed. She liked this woman, she was very laid back and matter-of-fact and seemed comfortable to speak with. "Yes... I've thought that every day since I got Too-ya-la-kekt. Thats what I've named him. I'm... not sure it is a him, but the name can go either way. It means "Thunder on the Plains."
She blushed a bit awkwardly. "I suppose I seem terribly native to you."
Airaka grinned, '' Thanks to Yashima, a child like ours wil soon be, I'm pretty sure this wisp is a male. I'm guessing that when the children come from the wand, they'll be able to figure somethings about the wands that you and I will not know.'' For her voice was getting more and more worse on her, she just sort of shrugged. She had slightly noticed how ithe women seemed 'native' but she didn't understand why it mattered.
Sarah stared at her wand thoughtfully. "They told me that the whisp would emerge when the wand trusted me. I don't want to rush things, but I am so very curious..."
She glanced upward. "How long have you had yours, before...?" she left the question open ended.
Before you received the wand? Before it wisped? Before what? Airaka was confused by the question left hanging, befuddlement which showed in her eyes. '' Uh... About a month? One could say I only really trusted him when I thought he was going to explode. '' The wisp nudged her shoulder, then the back of her neck, causing the woman to take an extra step forward. She shot Sarah a nervous yet cheerful grin toward Sarah, and patted the little wisp, making the wisp seemingly more grumpy.
Sarah seemed suprised that the little whisp was so animated. "Does it do that often? Move, I mean..."
She was asking stupid questions. She wondered why she couldn't seem to ease into this situation like Airaka had.
It had never struck Airaka that it was odd for the wisp to move as it did. She eyed it for a second before shrugging her shoulders, '' Yup. I think he very emotional and energetic at his state. '' Airaka hoped the more she was able to answer Sarah's question, the at ease she would become with this new experience.
Sarah casually lifted her wrist to glance at her watch, more out of habit than anything, and then her eyes widened slightly. "Oh... crap!" she exclaimed, "Its Tuesday! I'm supposed to meet with Grandfather so he can tell me more about the thunderbird myth!"
She shot a worried look to Airaka. "I've got to go... damn it! Of all the days to forget I had somewhere to be..." She paced three steps to the right, then to the left, before her face turned apologetic.
"I'm sorry to come in here and shower you with all these questions, and then leave... its been so nice to meet you, really..."
Airaka grinned, and waved her hand in an attempt to calm Sarah down. ''No need to apologize. But you better hurry. It was great talking with you. '' She turned to Sari whom was still mindlessly watching television and sighed. 'Come on Sari, time to go.'' The girl raised from her seat, and slumped over to Airaka, grabbing the red heads hand as she was flashed a warm grin. The wand was passed to the child, which seemed to brighten her up slightly, before Airaka turned to Sarah. ''I hope to see you, and hopefully your child, again. Good bye, now!'' With that, the pair started away from the wand shop, little wisp floating about them.

x__ The Baby Ghost
The sounds of cleaning filled the house, a pair of scampering feet, the old, loud vacuum, the cold garbage lid closing. Then it all stopped with a heavy sigh, and Airaka slumped down on the couch, eyes closing. It was the afternoon after she had taken the children to listen to the story-teller. She had just been so cooped up trying to deal with things at work so she could get some time off in case her little boy randomly sprouted into the real thing. Airaka had just needed to get outside for a while. Maybe she should have left the children out there. As soon as they came inside, they had needed to act out the story. Thus making a complete of the house. So much for not really caring what the children did as long as they were safe. She whimpered, and dragged herself to her feet. When she opened her eyes, she was slightly blinded by the metal reflecting off the metallic wand. Airaka winced, closing her eyes for an extra second, before she bent over, coiling her finger around the wand. The wisp nudged her abusively as Airaka went to turn away. She blinked at the wisp, then turned back to the table. There, lying in the light was the necklace from earlier. She must have dropped it there when she left the wand there while she cleaned. As she took up the necklace, the wisp nudged her more affectionately this time. She grinned and raised the necklace higher. She stepped outside, resting on the trampoline installed for her baby sitting charges. Wisp-boy was half coiled around the wand, and half coiled around the necklace. The late afternoon sun beat down on her. Thank spring. One could fall asleep out here. Airaka almost did, until a chirping noise was heard beside her. She jerked, and raised her self into a seated position, staring the bird, with a slightly tilted head. It was a chickadee. A grin came to Airaka's face. Chickadees were her favorite bird. She loved it's memorable call. The empty bird feeder caught her attention, and Airaka silently criticized herself. So she had forgotten to do something. Hopping off the trampoline with admirable ease, Airaka quickly walked to the kitchen, and came back out with the bird feed in her hand. The chickadee was still there, hopping about, occasionally cheeping. ''Chicka-dee-dee-dee...'' Airaka muttered with a grin, only for her face to light up red with embarrassment a second later. She hoisted herself into the tree, wand and necklace still in one hand, and the bird took off. Airaka was slightly upset, but set herself to her duty. She trusted the tree to hold her, as she leaned forward, and grabbed the bird feeder from it's branch. Even with her handicap of the wand and jewelry, she was able to fill the bird feeder up rather fast. It was what happened after she had finished that caused an almost calamity. Airaka leaned forward, and slipped the bird feeder back on it's correct branch, then leaned back, holding her position momentarily, before getting ready to hop down the tree. That was until the large black crow appeared in front of her. An opposite to the chickadee, Airaka really disliked crows. She gave a squeak, and slipped forward. Luckily she was able to save herself from falling off then. Unluckily, the necklace slid off her fingers, and was now tumbling toward the earth. The wisp was the first to notice, bumping against Airaka, and flying rapidly toward the necklace. Airaka leaned over stretching as far as she could go, her middle finger just catching the chain to push it back behind her joint closest to the tip of her sun kissed finger. Airaka brought herself back upright, and displayed the necklace triumphantly to the wisp, a grin on her face. The wand suddenly twitched, and Airaka jerked again, this time just about to fall as the last. Then the blinding light emitted, and mix of bright white, and fluorescent yellow. This time, she succeeded in tumbling off the tree. She winced, and clenched her eyes shut. Damn... her wrist hurt! Her left hand clutched the other. Then something odd happened. She felt something like children laughter, directed at her. The sort of insecure feeling you get. She opened her eyes, and looked around. There was nothing there, but the feeling continued. Airaka pulled herself to her feet, glancing around the area. The feeling was slowly coming to an end. She placed her hand on the necklace, hanging from a knob from the tree, and she felt a sharp pang of anger. She cursed loudly, then looked up surprised with herself. Airaka suddenly remembered the wand, feeling guilty. This time it was her own feelings. She turned away from the necklace, and there, floating, was her wisp. Greatly enlarged. Airaka let out another scream, and hopped back, waving her unhurt hand in defense. She then paused, and regained her common sense. Moving forward, she positioned the baby ghost with his wand into the crook of her left arm, and grabbed the necklace with her teeth. She had a couple things to do now, like make a room for the child, take a maternity leave, and see if her wrist was broken.

x__ Lost in Durem Participants: Airaka (Airaka) and Danny (Arrien)
Airaka winded her way through the busy streets of Durem. Oh, what a great day to go attempt to find a room. Not only that, but she must have gone to the wrong town. Oh geeze, her head was beginning to hurt. Never had she been good at direction. Instead, she was quite skilled at getting lost. And her feet hurt! She readjusted the bag on her shoulder, stuffing the head phones back further in, continuing to move through the streets. A heavy sigh came from her lips, and she silently asked the sky where she was. They sky didn't give a very good answer. The baby ghost, that had recently aged, was floating above her arms, were were formed to make a crib like object. She had recently learned you couldn't hold the baby ghost. Further more, the baby was making her ill in the head. Airaka was not having the best day of her life. She had argued with a teacher about how to deal with children, she hadn't been able to speak with anyone about a maternity leave, she had found out her wrist was sprained, and she was lost. Lost like a dog, damnit. Her wrist was wrapped in an Ace bandage, and she found the elastic almost unbearable. Airaka continued her trek through town, sapphire eyes searching for anything that could be helpful.
Danny wasn't exactly having a great day herself.
The reason for this was fairly simple; after being stuck for a few hours in bumper-to-bumper traffic in a car where the back windshield was smashed in thanks to a would-be thief a few days before, thus making her hopelessly late for work and on the verge of being late for her college class, Danny's junky car decided that it had had enough of this traffic bullshit and stopped obeying its master. Leaving a frustrated and, by this point, hungry girl stuck sitting on the hood of her car as she waited for a tow truck to show up and save the day- or at least keep it from getting any worse.
"... This is ridiculous." It just was. Her luck had never been precisely "good", but for things to be this bad? It was horrible! It was TERRIBLE! The past week had been... just... amazingly awful. Starting with that crazy lady at the bookstore, then the car window, and now this....
All since she had gotten that damned stick.
She didn't know quite how, but that thing was bad luck. And she wasn't a very superstitious person! But she had gotten nothing but trouble, trouble, and more trouble since that thing had been all but forced on her, and it seemed like things were just going to keep getting worse and worse.
Fishing the emerald-studded stuck out of her backpack in order to give it a proper glare. "This is probably your fault, you know," she grumbled at it. "Why didn't that damn thief just take you?... at least then your bad luck'd be his problem, not mine...."
The wand, predictably, gave the discontent girl no response. Worthless junk.
Airaka's foot hit a nook in the side walk, while her eyes were peering at the places around her. Ill in the head, and ill in the pit of her stomach. She slipped forward, but was surprisingly able to keep her balance. Her moment of thankfulness when another shock came to her. The baby ghost had floated off some where. Airaka cursed loudly, causing the eyes of many people on the street to make there way to her. She straightened up, and blushed heavily, and soon the eyes turned away, with mutters of how weird young people were, and rolls of there eyes. Airaka didn't know whether to by happy, or not, that she looked younger then 24. One had to go through to much schooling, nowadays. The wisp had floated over the crowds, enjoying the sun, and floated about until he found what he was looking for. He had known he had sensed something, and look, there was a wand. He inched toward the woman, her wooden wand, and the car. He hovered there, on the hood of the car, turned so he could stare at the wand. Well.. it wasn't shiny. She slinked through people, attempting to 'feel' for her baby. her eyes, instead of focused on the shops, were flickering around at rabid speeds for something that was just about invisible, if not for the wand. She wished that the sun would catch the metallic wand, and blind her like usual. Something bumped into her arm, and she cringed, looking as if she were going to scream, when she noticed who it was. A great smile came to her face, and she pet the baby ghost, hopping about him gleefully. Then she noticed the woman on the car, and her face flew up in blush. "Uh... Hello there?"
The paled-faced Danny's answer was slow in the coming. Her immediate attention seemed to be caught with the strange, smoky creature that had, just moments before, captured her attention and drawn her out of her muttered rantings at her troublesome stick.
Now, Durem was a weird city. It was one of those places where you expected to run into strange things on the street, which is why the smart people kept their gaze on the sidewalk in front of them without faltering. But this? Danny- no, NO ONE could have expected to run into something like this.
To put it plainly- Danny looked as if she had seen a ghost. And she wasn't really wrong about that, either.
"... He... hel........." Screw manners. "What the hell is that?!"
City folk weren't especially known for their politeness, and the open stare the gawking girl was affixing on the foggy form only enhanced that stereotype.
Airaka satred at the person in front of her for a second. Then her eyes moved to the stick in her hand, then to the wyvern ghost beside her, who had sent her a jubilant noise in her head. Airaka half grinned. She was already quite sure her child wasn't the most kindest of folk. Her attention was directed back to the woman in front of her. So that is how a normal person would react to seeing a ghost. She was reminded of Kyo, from the library, and merely shrugged her shoulders. Airaka raised the arm with the sprained write, pointing at the stick in the womans hands, "I know it is usual for one to respond to a question with an answer, but do you mind me asking a question first? " She didn't seem to wait for an answer. Airaka was already pretty sure of what she believed, "That stick in your hand, you got it from a wand shop, right? From a woman with white hair, named Ianna?" Then again, she would look truly insane if the answer was negative.
So far as Danny was concerned, of course, Airaka was insane already. I mean, that little ghost... thing, it couldn't be real, right?
... But if Danny saw it... then wasn't she the insane one?
"Y... you mean that crazy chick?" Oh, no. This lady must be one of the cult or whatever. A bit lately, Danny set down the stick next to her on the other side of the car, as if removing it from the other woman's sight would somehow make her go away. Despite this futile bit of subterfuge, the brown-haired girl hid nothing as she replied, "Yeah, that's where I got it. How do you know?"
Danny already had a feeling what Airaka's answer was going to be, but... well, it was human nature to hope for the impossible, even if that impossibility was a rational and sane answer that didn't involve ghosts coming out of wands and becoming (shudder) babies and ruining her carefully-laid plans for school and getting her degree and a good career and maybe someday settling down when she was like, thirty and then having two kids of her own- one boy and one girl- and raising them from conception to birth to childhood to teenagedom with a loving husband that she could always trust and count on and one day growing old and fulfilled together and everything else the she wanted so badly....
Okay... So this girl in front of her was actually taking it kind of bad. Airaka grinned weakly. But, of course she couldn't lie to the girl. She reached out, and wafted the baby ghost toward the crook of her left arm, then looked back at the girl, pointing at the wand her ghost baby clutched. "I was given a wand, like yours, by the same person. This ghost stage is, supposedly, the last stage before they actually become living, breathing beings, again." She flashed the girl a grin, and added, "Ianna is kind of crazy isn't she?" Airaka's throat felt dry, and she wasn't usually the one to talk to a stranger sitting on their car. Then again, she never was the one to carry around a baby ghost, deal with magic, or actually try to get out of work.
"... No. NONONONO." Leaping to her feet and standing in front of her car (leaving the wand where she set it on the hood), the girl was wide-eyed and fidgeting. Running a hand through her brown locks, Danny struggled quickly in an attempt to come to terms with this new... new reality, for God's sake!
She was going to be a mother?
No. Nononono.
"This... this isn't funny!" Turning back to Airaka with a snarl, Danny seemed almost... dangerous. Panicked. Scared. "The joke's gone on long enough, so cut it the <********> out! Why... why are you DOING this to me?!"
And now... Airaka was uncomfortable. Truth bites, man. Her were criss-crossed over her chest, grabbing her shoulders, her defensive position. Airaka was afraid of the girl. For someone who was 24, she was a chicken. She opened her mouth, but no words came out. Damn childhood disease. Her eyes reflected both anger and fear, though the anger was directed at herself. She shook her head back and forth. Was there anything that would calm the girl down? Airaka was attempting to calm both herself, and the girl down, and she wasn't doing that great a job. She didn't even know who to calm down first.
Danny stared at Airaka for a long while. Enough to let her frustration and terror to fester, soak, linger, and begin to melt away. If only a little.
"... I know." Grabbing the stick off of her car's hood, she stuck the bejewelled little thing out and shook it in Airaka's face. "You take it. You believe in this s**t, right?" Danny wasn't typically so vulgar, but right now, she didn't really care so much. The thought of being a mother, of raising a child... her salary barely covered the necessities to live! She'd have to quit college, take on a full-time job... maybe even two. She'd have to sacrifice everything, EVERYTHING she had worked so hard for her entire life. Her education, wasted. Her aspirations, denied. Every white-picket-fence dream she harbored... just like that, gone.
She couldn't let that happen. She just... couldn't.
"You take it, and then go off and live your nice little delusional life. And I can go and live my nice little sane one. How's that sound? Good, right? So take it." She gave the stick another insistant wave.
Airaka pulled her hands off her shoulders, and blinked back at Danny. She opened her mouth to say something again, but when she failed a second time, she looked as if she were going to kill herself. Throwing her hands into her pocket, she dug out her water bottle, and drenched her throat in the slightly warmed liquid. She then coughed into her hand before she finally looked ready to do anything. "I can't. I'm so sorry, but I can't. The wand chose you. It would die without out. Do you want that? To be a murderer at your age?" Her voice came out scratchy, weak, and quite quiet. "And this is not s**t. I didn't truly believe it till the wand forced me to. There are others like us out there. Some of us already have had more then one child, others are going to still be able to support it. I live from pay check to pay check. I have to baby sit, and I have a couple degrees. Sometimes, life forgets about you for a while, them it notices you need something to make you happier, so it dumps a child on you." She ended with a fit of coughing. It was unusual for her to talk that much. It hurt, damnit.
"... But... but a child won't make me happy!" Wailing childishly, Danny slumped her shoulders and drooped her head, staring at the stick in her hands. "I have... I have another year of college before I get my bachelor's. Once I get that, I can get a job. A decent job, not the crappy one I pull down at the rink. And then I'll get my master's. And I want... I want... I can't have a baby! I can't!"
How did this happen, really? This wand had chosen her? Why? Why did it want her? There were so many people out there, and surely many of them didn't have lives for it to ruin. Why her?
It was very slow for her to escape her self-pity. She was barely into her twenties, after all; being self-absorbed was what people at her age did, just as surely as the sun was supposed to shine and the clouds were supposed to rain. But even amid all of her turmoil and worries and what really amounted to nothing short of a nervous breakdown, she was able to snap out of her freak-out long enough to stammer to the coughing woman- "A-are you okay?"
It might be an uplifting speech for Airaka, but Danny just seemed more and more trapped. At least this time it wasn't in a fearful, must-escape-certain-doom sort of way; the girl seemed more and more resigned to what must obviously be her fate. She didn't want the child, but....
"... And it's really... no one else can take it, can they? I have to?" Her voice was flat and sullen, testing the last wall of her new prison as it was built around her. She didn't want to be a mother, and God only knew how she would be able to handle it. But... her hands were tied, it seemed. If there was no other way for this child to come to life--
Murderer, was what Airaka said she'd be. The same sort of murderer, no doubt, as the woman that went to the abortion clinic. Or maybe even worse; the wand had chosen her, after all, and that implied intellect of some sort. Was it aware? Had it heard every word she'd said, felt the barbs from everything she'd blamed it for?
A part of her cried out in protested logic. She was feeling guilty over a stick now! She might as well shed a tear for a log burnt on a fireplace, or a glass shattered on the floor!
And yet... if it was real. If it was going to become one of those... floating baby things, like the little thing by Airaka's side... she couldn't reject it. She couldn't turn her back on something in need like that... could she?
"... What's its name?" Her gaze was locked again on the ghosty child, her dark eyes still lacking emotion and life as she contemplated what she saw as the end of her future.
Airaka shook her head slowly, and sighed heavily. She believed the battle was over. Maybe Danny actually was going to accept the fact that she was a mother. Which would hopefully be a good thing. Unless the girl panicked again... well... then it wouldn't. She watched Danny, and felt a 'pang' in her heart as she looked into the girls eyes. But then the name question came up, and Airaka blushed. She wouldn't say what the kids called him this time. Naw... She'd tell a half truth. "He doesn't have a name yet. I think the child is going to decide for it's self you know. Maybe the name he chooses will be a hint to his past. Which would be great. It's taken me a while to slowly find out things about him. I mean, I only learned he was a 'he' a couple weeks ago." The 'he' they were talking about, now very happy they were talking about him in general floated to Airaka's shoulder.
"... He's... kind of cute, I guess." It was a bit of a stretch for Danny to say that- after all, just looking at the little thing was a reminder of what lay in store for her- but... well, there wasn't really any point in dragging it out too much, she guessed. At some point in the past few minutes (what point, precisely, she wasn't sure), she'd given up her resistance and fallen head-over-heels into this crazy little group of ghost-believers. She was going to have a kid now, and she needed to accept that. Whether she liked it or not.
Glancing back down at the stick... wand... baby... at the pointy thing in her hand, Danny was struck by a sudden thought. "... Sex ed was a damn lie, wasn't it?" she groused, jokingly so. "Hell if I didn't use protection and all that, and now look at me!" The exclamation was punctuated by raising the wand back into clear view.
She managed to keep a straight face for only a few seconds before breaking into nervous giggles.
"I guess... what'll be, 'll be, right? No reason to stress over it before... before it happens." She smiled at Airaka and looked for some sort of approval from the other woman, seeming almost a bit pathetic in her need for reassurance.
Airaka giggled along with Danny, but it was more to attempt to make the girl feel better about the issue. She often helped teach sex-ed, must be because she is the counselor. Airaka gave her a reassuring grin, and a nod. "Yes. Everything'll be fine. And if you ever have any problems, you could ask me, or even try the head quarters. You know, the place where Ianna gave you the wand. Others who have wands, babies, or wisps, sometimes hang out there. Most of them, that I've met that is, are really kind." She took in a largish breath, unfortunately inhaling car fumes, causing her to cough slightly, before she could continue. "I'm thinking of going there tomorrow."
The girl was silent for a long moment as she thought this over, then finally spoke up in a rather small voice-
"D.. d'you think you could take me there sometime? I-I mean, I was there once, but... it wasn't really a pleasant visit, and...." The more she talked, the more sheepish she felt. What kind of an idiot must she be coming off as? "... Well, if you ever want to, anyway, I'd appreciate it... I'm still pretty... it's just a bit much to absorb, you know?"
A bit. Hah. But still... Danny could handle this. She was a self-sufficent, mature individual, right? She lived on her own in this nasty world, in the heart of the city. There was no reason she couldn't adjust to a few new complications in her life. A kid- even a magical one... she could deal with it. Somehow. Maybe.
"Of course I'll take you. I think that's a great idea, if you don't mind me saying. Then, if there is someone I don't know there, you can protect me, okay?" Airaka let out a childish laugh, and then gave her a confident grin. "I know it's much to take in all at once, while your sitting on your car, and some random person shows up with a ghost child. I'd be quite freaked as well. But I also know that you can handle it. " Airaka uncapped the water bottle again, and took another sip. Every so often, Airaka thought, being a counselor had it's quirks.
Danny echoed the laughter with a half-sincere smile. At least someone seemed to have confidence in this matter; in fact, it was a damn good thing someone did. It was entirely possible that Danny might go slipping off the deep end if she didn't think that Airaka, at least, was in control of things.
The conversation was cut abruptly short as a wiry man wearing a pair of stained and dirtied jeans commanded Danny's attention by knocking loudly on the hood of the car. "Sorry t'interrupt dere, ladies," he spoke with a heavy accent, words slightly muffled by a thick and curly red beard, "but I gots a call t'tow away a vehicle. This is th'one, ain't it?" He picked idly away at a scab on the back of his right hand while he waited for his answer.
"Oh! Oh, yeah, this is the right one." A bit awkward now, Danny scuttled onto the sidewalk. Giving Airaka a momentary look of apology, she turned back to the tow man. "Do I, uhm, need to fill out any papers or give proof of insurance or what...?"
"Nah, we'll jest take it t' a fixup shop and they'll get it right as rain fer ya. Y'got a ride home, I'm guessin'?" The man gave Danny a questioning look, which she answered with a shrug.
"I'll... get a taxi. Thanks."
"Yer welcome. All right, Chuck, hook it up!" This last part was bellowed to another, greasier-looking man, who proceeded to affix a cable to the back bumper. The two men got back into their truck and began to haul the car away, Danny watching after them with a sigh. Hopefully, insurance would cover most of the troubles... and hopefully, there wouldn't be too many troubles for it to cover.
Airaka bowed her head at the man, and waited for Danny and him to finish their conversation. She turned to danny and gave her a weak grin, "I'd offer you a ride home but I don't have a car. I kind of like it better that way." Airaka was a tree-hugger, and cars meant pollution, which meant harm to the enviroment, thus no car for her. She traded her water bottle for a note pad and pen from her pocket, and scralled her cell phone number on it, then held it out for Danny. "Oh, I'm Airaka, by the way. That's my cell, you can call anytime. If you get the machine, though, that most likely means I'm working, and just leave a message. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. " She put the pad and pen back in her bag, before looking back up at the girl and giving her a warm smile.
Taking the paper gingerly, Danny examined the writing heatedly for a few moments- almost as if she were attempting to memorize it on the spot- before carefully folding the paper, once down and once across, then tucking it away in her pants pocket.
"Danny," she introduced herself, sticking one trim-nailed hand out for a formal greeting. "And thank you... I have the feeling that I'm gonna need all the help I can get with this thing." All the help I can get, and probably more.
Airaka took the hand, and shook it gently, before releasing, and drawing her hand back, almost as if she was afraid. But the smile she shot at Danny was enought to make any doubt. "It's a pleasure, Danny." She looked down the street, before back at Danny. "If you don't mind me prying, where were you going before your car broke down? Just home?" Airaka readjusted the bag on her shoulder, the lowered her hands to her stomach, injured hand resting on the other one.
"School, actually...." the girl smiled a bit weakly. "But no point to that anymore, so I guess I'm heading home now." She was so late for class already, there was no way she could make it before it ended. Her professor probably wouldn't be too mad, though; heck, she would be surprised to find out that he had noticed she wasn't even there. He tended to be a bit absent-minded, especially when he was teaching classes as large as the one she was in.
"Say, what about you? Were you going somewhere?" Airaka must have been doing something when she had come across Danny, after all; it was only polite to inquire what it was.
Airaka nodded her head understandingly, although she had had never been the one to miss classes. She must have distracted Danny for too long. The crimson-haired woman felt guilty. "I was looking for a store to buy furniture in. I'm going to need to buy the boy a whole new room. For when he become ... more real. I haven't really found a store yet, though." Airaka grinned weakly, and raised her eyes to flicker around the area to find the type of the store she was searching for. Her search came up a faliure.
"Oh, really?" Danny became suddenly animated; she might not know much about wands and babies and things like that, but when it came to shopping in her home town, she was well-prepared!
"Well, I happen to know a couple places that might have what you're looking for... baby furniture, right? There was some place announcing a sale on the radio that ought to be around until Sunday, I think it's down by Victoria and 28th. The bus number 15 ought to go right by it if you catch it heading downtown!" All it took was the mention of shopping, and Danny was nothing but enthusiasm and optimism... but, hey. A girl had to have her hobbies, and shopping wasn't one she got to indulge in often since she'd moved out on her own. It was hard for her not to get excited when it came to wielding the knowledge of her expertise.
Airaka gave Danny the most thankful smile ever. "Alright, thanks. Danny, you've been much help. Honest." She motioned at the baby ghost for him to move closer, but the baby ghost. With a playful glower toward the baby ghost, she turned back to Danny with a playful grin. "Oh he'll be a wonderful baby." she said sarcastically. He burbled emtionfully in her head, causing Airaka to raise a unbandaged hand to her ear, then bring back down with a slightly blush.
"Is there really such a thing?" Danny questioned, possibly joking- really, given her attitude on babies, she might have said that in all seriousness. It was hard to tell from the look on her face.
She dismissed the matter with a shrug, however, and returned to a happy smile. "Well... I really, uh, ought to be going. You've got things to do, and I can at least use today to catch up on some homework...." Not that she really thought she'd be able to concentrate on homework, mind, but the conversation seemed to have run its course and there was no sense in dragging out out. Nodding her head gratefully to Airaka, she finished up with a friendly, "I'll give you a call sometime! See you around!"
"Alright. I have to go find some furniture before he randomly grows again, and I break my other arm," Airaka said with a laugh, "See you!" She gave Danny a friendly wave, and started down the street, the wyvern ghost child floating in front of her, waving his wand. Airaka'd have to keep her eyes searching for the bus, and those streets, or maybe even some place to sit and eat something. She made a notch in her memory books that she was to take Danny to the head quaters sooner rather then later, before devoting her full attention to her search for baby furniture, hopefully either yellow, red, or white in colour.

Welcome Airaka
How poor are they who have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degrees. -- William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616) Mood: Joyous
My baby is almost a real baby now. It's so amazing! Every so often I hear him making noises. No one else seems to hear them, so either I'm going insane, or that is totally normal. He is very active, often waving his wand about. He also seems to crave attention. This little wyvern child will be a handful when he finally materializes.
A handful already is he. I sprained my wrist as he became a baby ghost. I still have a couple days till I can claim it's healed enough for my own good. I've never broken anything before, it is quite difficult to work with a sprained arm.
Reading back over what I wrote, I think I'm actually getting into this whole 'having-a-child' thing. I was so fret filled when I found out I was going to have a child, and Ianna barked at me, and now look at me. I'm swooning over a ghostling.
I'm still setting up the room. Most of the furniture is made out of wood with white designs. There is also yellow blankets, and yellow other stuff to be scattered through out the room. And a toy chest, made to look like a treasure chest. I thought it suited him. Or what will be him...
Well, that's all for now. I'll update later.
Good day ~ Airaka
