Shumusi nodded in response but still felt rather skeptical that she was actually going to find her brother though he wouldn't divulge his actual feelings. "It'll all be fine." Smiling reassuringly at her once again, the lion's eyes drifted out towards the Savannah wondering what adventures tomorrow would bring. Focusing his attention back on the pretty female sitting next to him, Shumusi hoped that she would warm up to him quickly tonight.
Chuckling softly at her story about the cheetahs, Shumusi knew what that was like, not fitting in. "Yeah, that's happened to me too. Other felines are just too.. different for my liking. Different hunting styles and habits so I find it a lot easier to just live with other lions if necessary." It was a little difficult for the rogue to understand everything that she said. He had never felt that feeling of 'coming home' or finding a place that he felt that he truly belonged. Shumusi could only take guesses at how she felt. "That must... feel nice and reassuring. I guess I'm alright with living in new places every other day though."
The night fell quickly on the horizon and the moon was already beginning to rise in the sky. The temperature was also beginning to drop and he shifted his body so that he was ever so slightly closer to Mwale.

Mwale nodded as he spoke, and smirked a little. "It was." She said, nodding a little. "I don't mind travelling, but..." She had been destined to go home. It was out of her hands, in many ways. Her path was to return to the Fire Nation, and become Fire Sage. And now it led her on a seemingly endless journey to bring more life to the Fire Nation.
The drop in temperature made Mwale's fur stand on end, and without thinking, she shifted closer to Shumusi, glancing around. "It's getting late," she observed with a quiet frown. She would need to sleep, eventually, and it irritated her to a point. She liked having someone to talk to who understood, however well. She lifted her eyes to Shumusi, smiling a little. "We should rest." No doubt, she would take off in the morning, and she wanted to be well rested for that journey. She wanted to put as much distance between herself and the pride as she could before she returned. If she couldn't bring back lions, she'd at least bring back stories.

Shumusi nodded once more knowing that every lion was different and had different fates. It seemed like he didn't really have one for himself yet but someday he would learn what he was destined to do. "I agree." It was nice having someone next to him for once... Shumusi felt a little twang in his heart when he thought about how he was relatively alone in this world but the feeling quickly dissipated. Shaking the thoughts from his head, Shumusi continued, "It was nice talking to you, Mwale." They would part ways in the morning but he would't soon forget the Fire Nation lioness. "Good night." Closing his eyes, the lion took a few deep breaths as his body rested for the night.
