Ah that momentary flicker of worry was exactly what she had hoped for. Luckily she was able to hide any smile to show her delight in his worry and her facial features remained neutral. "And if I told you that you are to attend to me in my den tonight?" Varia didn't think she needed to explain what she meant by attending to her, but she as always kept her expression neutral, though it was leaning more towards anger and slight disgust at this point.
Varia hated males, that was obvious to anyone who knew or came across her, yet there was one thing that they were needed for so they had to exist. The queen had her brood, hell the damn nanny had recently had a litter and while Varia didn't think she would ever be mother material she did want to contribute to the pack by bringing new warriors into it - warrior that would share her blood.

Cas couldn't help his eyes going wide for just a moment; in a whirl, he thought, what does this have to do with something unnatural? And then, imposingly, he realized "attending" to Varia actually did seem sort of unnatural. And...did she want him to smile about this? He noticed his mouth was hanging open just a little bit and closed it, fortifying himself with a hearty blink, and then turned to look demurely back to Varia. "Sister, if you told me that, I would be happy to obey." And I'd only smile if you wanted me to, he added silently, working hard to keep his little joke from showing in his face and dropping his head in an appropriately subdued manner.

Oh course he would be happy to obey. Well she didn't have time to point out the many flaws of his statement, she had work to do and was tired of his presence for now. "Tonight, well after it has turned dark, meet me at the den you just dug. And it had best be finished by then." She would never let a male in her own den, so the den he had just dug had two reasons behind it, to test him and to be used for their little midnight get together.
Turning she took a few steps away from him before looking at him. "And should you tell anyone of this that den will become your grave." Not wanting to stick around any longer Varia took off silently, there was a training session to lead and she could only hope that would help keep her mind off what was to happen later.

"Certainly, Sister," he said, halfway under his breath, and watched her glide off toward the den site with a sense of growing awe and spookiness. This was just...just very unexpected. As the warrior sped out of sight, he began to pick his way back to the isolated den, his mind somersaulting over the agenda set for him over the next 24 hours. He just hoped that come nightfall, he could think of something good enough to smile about.
